Zeroth had charged in, calling from aid from the heavens as his spear began sparking with electricity. He let forth his spear through the air at Illfang, yelling "Heavens Embrace"  Kyo had drank a health potion fully restoring his health. SouthernCross rolled a 28 and 19 for his Sword Art. Smokescreen rolled a 21, 30, 22 for his Sword Art. Isley recovered his status.  Zeroth rolled a 21 (42 at 200%) for his Sword Art. Kobold Sentinel (Mace) rolled a 18 for defense. Illfang rolled a 22 for defense. SouthernCross had delt 28 damage to the Kobold Sentinel (Sword) and 19 damage to the Kobold Sentinel (Mace) ignoring all armor. SmokeScreen had delt 3, 4, and 12 damage to Kobold Sentinel (Mace) totaling to 19. Zeroth had delt 20 daamge to Illfang. He had missed his axe swing due blindness (77). He then stomped on the ground and yelling something quickly in their Kobold tongue. From the door emerged another Kobold Sentinel, again glamoured in heavy armor. This one using a spear.  The Spear Kobold charged directly at the two closest to the entry door, being Kyo and Relsialle, though it didn't quite make it to attack range yet.  The Sword Kobold had swung at Southern and the Mace Kobold swung at Smokescreen Kobold (Sword) rolled a 21. Kobold (Mace) rolled a 19. SouthernCross rolled a 15 for defense. Smokescreen rolled a 3 for defense. Illfang was a terrifying monster. With lots of bad luck one swing of his weapon could be enough to kill them. But even though he was brutal, Janeiro felt optimistic. Her sword art had done exactly what it was supposed to, the bright slash blinding the boss which in combination with the paralysis had slowed his offense down noticably, even if it was only for a few seconds. She would not allow herself to lose this fight. A quick glance to the minions revealed almost empty HP gauges. If everyone was careful, they'd make it out of here. They just needed to deplete the big green bars hovering next to Illfang. Doing her part, Janeiro attacked him again with a strike of her longsword.

Well, apparently SouthernCross had taken a pretty strong hit and had to retreat... on the first wave of minions. Unlucky, but they would have to pull through. Lifting her Curved Sword, she slashed at the Sword-wielding Kobold hoping to take it out for good.

" Sometimes things are more fun with your life on the line…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Relsialle Lv3 The shockwave impacted Relsialle hard enough to take the wind out of her lungs, the powerful attack almost unprecedented from the hostile NPC. Her crystal-blue eyes widened in surprise as her confidence seemed bruised almost as bad as her body from the sudden assault. She struggled to catch her footing and her breath as she began to slide, her light and lithe form instantly lacking a foothold and sailing into Kyo…causing them both to fall back. The pair finally skidding to a stop suddenly as she felt the impact against the far wall, the swordsman luckily acting as a means of cushioning the blow for both of them. The rocker staggered a moment before finally lifting herself from the ground, her palm instantly moving to dust off the new black leather armor on reflex. She shook her head to regain her presence, her head throbbing from the impact… “Ugh…bastard has a few surprises…” The musician muttered as she turned from the boss back to Kyo, his health bar dropping quickly from taking the impact obviously meant for her. The girl looked at him in frustration, her constant warnings about him always attempting to be the hero almost entirely summed up in that single exasperated glance. The pink-haired thief nodded at him silently, her gaze shifting down his body quickly to verify that he was still in the fight…almost forgetting for a moment that it was as easy as glancing at the party GUI to check someone’s status, reality still making intrusions from time to time. An evil grin appeared on her features just as she flipped her dagger in her hand, as not only her own paralysis icon appeared next to the boss’s massive row of health-bars, but the blindness from Janeiro appeared as well. It looked like they were making progress no matter how slow it may be. The girl turned her head back to the fight just as the sound of the impact was heard from the boss’s stomp at the far end on the chamber…the cackling of the new kobold troops heard as it charged closer to the rogue and the hero. Kyo had taken upon himself to gulp a potion, putting the fight on her for a moment to buy enough time for him to play the tank once more… The thief chuckled a moment as she stooped down slightly and dropped her body-weight, the gesture letting her stealth-mode engage once more…all the while knowing silently that Kyo would mind playing the bait-critter as he once had those weeks ago. Relsialle reappeared from hiding to the side of the Kobold knight right as he made the approach…”Good evening love!” The girl teased just as she reappeared, her wicked grin appearing first as her avatar reformed...her features looking like a demented Chesire-cat as she moved to thrust her thin dagger in-between the plates of the creature’s armor...her sudden stealth-attack obviously attempting for criticality…

Kung watched as the mace kobald hit a member from another  party. "dang it where not doing are job." He ran over to the mace kobald and slashed at its neck hoping that this time he would deal some damage.

Quantum's heart cringed as he watched Timor's body fly off and explode into a millions of pixels. It was the second time he had watched this occur, and it hurt him less than before. He shook out the emotion as the fight was still well under way, running himself over to where Isley was and holding his two handed weapon strangely, a makeshift shield as he put himself in between Illfang and his party member.

There had been another mob kobold, and Quantum felt like yelling out to let everyone know, but the actions of some of the other players meant that the situation seemed well under control. "Go ahead and heal up bud." Quantum said to Isley, playing cautiously and meaning to take any attack that came nearby.

Pentagan had broke a sweat watching his allies body fly through the air. It was no doubt that risks were involved but they never would have imagined a death so soon. One bar of the bosses health had already dropped though. Pentagan looked back to the faces of his party who were of a variety of discomforts. Pentagan shouted back "Don't let his death be in vain!" he yelled as he charged to try and rally moral to continue the boss fight. Pentagan rolled a 31 for attack. Kungfulou rolled a 19 for attack. "Good Job Lucia, Kungfululu." Cross praised as he pulled out a health potion quickly downed it, "Keep your guard up and see if you can't give that Spear wielding bastard a bad day?" He suggested as he waited for his health to recover, while keeping his head on a swivel ready to defend on a moments notice.

[Isley]

"Just finding poetry in the fallen snow…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Isley Lv2 Isley grinned as Quantum raised his blade in front of him in protection, his muscles still tensing from the massive damage that he incurred from moments earlier. The financier’s breathing slowed as he dropped to one leg, his fingers flicking through his inventory to dig out a red health potion, his feminine features almost saddened that he had to resort to these measures this early, but the fact that Illfang now stood at three health bars standing as a testament to how well the group was handling things…their party in particular. Just as the potion materialized in his hand, Isley tilted the crystalline vial back to gulp the thick crimson liquid…the potion tasting metallic on his tongue as he forced it down. Couldn’t they make such a lifesaving liquid more familiar tasting? The professional gagged just as the empty vial was tossed aside, the remains of the horrid taste still lingering despite long gone. He thanked the teacher for his aid with a soft smile, finally stepping up once more to pat his counterpart on the shoulder…not only to signal his readiness, but also in the silent thanks that was shared between comrades. As parties had stood, theirs was the most damaging, a soft smile gracing his features as Janeiro scored a critical, both the teacher and the teen offering a significant follow up to Isley’s first introduction to the kobold-king. His elation would only be momentary as Timor fell…their first death in the raid…the boss almost relishing its small victory as the first life fell to the reptile…The quick death came as a blow to him…such a youthful presence…He had not known Timor but by him putting his life on the line he was placed at the highest end of players, and the Swede would make sure that his name was remembered in this first of many doors that stood to be unlocked on the way to freedom.

Smoke looked on in dismay as his group member's body was slung down in front of everyone and turned into pixels. No....this is not how this is supposed to go...how could I allowed this to happen... Smoke thought to himself. His mind going through an array of emotions. He looked at the rest of the group as many showed small signs of despair they all still were looking forward at the battle in front of them. He gave a slight smile as he thought to himself. These guys are truly amazing!! Hope to see this group again in another battle one day.  Smoke ke took a deep breathe and exhaled as a means to calm himself down. He looked up at Illfang with a piercing look in his golden eyes. "NO ONE HAS GIVEN UP YOU BASTARD!! WE WILL MAKE SURE TO RETURN WHAT YOU'VE DONE TEN FOLD!!" He shouted as he pulled out his potion to replenish some of his health. Then prepared himself for the attacks that were bound to come.

Kyo look in astonishment as Timors dead body landed hard on the ground. Kyo blinked and looked to Relsialle who looked like she was handling the fight okay. "Im sorry Rel-" he said as he looked towards Illfang. "Hang in there, I'll send help back for ya..." He looked forward and determined as he barreled forward to the front line again. His blade to his side as it burst into a light show of dazzling purple. "Someone help her back there" he yelled as he passed the people in the mid-ranks fighting the mobs or recovering from the blows. His blade burned the violent purple like many times before as he charge straight through Illfang swiping his blade twice. "Violet Gale!"

Zeroth broke at the site of his party member hurling through the air. This was his party. His idea. He said he could protect these people but offered no proof of this so far. He darted forward to Illfang and grabbed his spear lodged in the beast before jumping back. He held his spear to the air like the previous time as lighting appeared from nowhere and struck it again. This time, he impaled his weapon to the ground instead of charging though. "Now my allies! We must claim retribution!" he cheer as the party began glowing a slight gold. For the next turn for all players +50% to every roll (Only used on the one roll) Kyo rolled a 41 for sword art (175% = 71) Kyo rolled a 21 for sword art (150% = 31) Smokescreen had healed 40 HP. The Kobold Lord was still affected by the status effects, his eyes barely able to focus on anything and his movements stiff and abrupt. Janeiro saw him raising his weapon to kill her, relying on smell and sound she assumed, but he guessed her position wrong, his axe crashing into the ground, causing pieces of stone to fly around. But then he had enough. He could somehow feel the weakness of one player, Timor. Janeiro looked away. She didn't want to see it. In the noisy battle, she did not hear him vanishing, his entire existence being deleted. The next time she looked, he simply wasn't there, as if he had never been, but the atmosphere had changed. Even though her attack had hit the fat red one hard, it wasn't enough. Janeiro glanced over to the damaged Isley, she felt guilty for not helping him, but Quantum had chosen to protect the Swede so that he could heal himself. Nodding towards the pair she let Illfang feel her blade again, attacking his legs - mostly due to his enormous height.

Raising her curved sword, she heard the orders from the leader of the mob-handling group, which was quickly drowned out by the shouting over the death of someone in the raid party. Lucia didn't have time to mourn a person's death. No, she had time to kill. Give the Spear-wielder a bad day? No problem. With a running start, she activated her ≪Acrobatics≫ skill and performed a sliding tackle to get herself straight into the range of the enemy. Raising her curved sword, she released a diagonal slash with her accumulated momentum.
