"The trees have ears...we can't take our chances"
Kaori Lv1 | Availability: 3 slots that are open to anyone. This is a social gathering that will continue into the dungeon. I have a loose plan of what might happen, but that could easily change with other's input. Basically a thread of introductions or reunions. Location: The dining hall of the Three Legged Boar, a pub/inn. Her mind was groggy and her eyelids had a heavy weight to them as if they were persuading Kaori that she should go back to bed. A warm cozy bed, wrapped up in a blanket... The advertisement of sleep seemed so appealing and what a beautifully unproductive day today could be. After all, the young girl could barely stay awake after restless hours of tossing and turning. The previous night, the foreign concept of the game had haunted her to the point where she was too weary to sleep, trapped in a cycle of exhaustion, so she had stayed awake traumatizing herself on all the possible outcomes of the situation. So here she was, slumping at a table and it was almost mid-day. "Order up! One traditional breakfast." The bellowing voice of the cook set off a startled jump. Following her intrigued nose to the delicious aroma, she trudged to the counter. Now this was her kind of breakfast! The platter was made up of two succulent sausages, two sunny side up eggs on crisp golden toast, and a side of good ol' baked beans. This place's reputation was no sham. Sitting down, Kaori gleefully dunked her biscuit in her strong Earl Grey and chowed down her meal. There wasn't a more un-lady-like scene than this young girl ravenously shoving food down her gullet and she definitely wasn't going to hold back after all the cols she had spent on this meal. Besides, she'd better hurry if people were going to show up soon. Upon her entrance into town she had sent out a request, plastering a piece of parchment to the sign that marked Tolbana. "Party of four. Dungeon. Meet at Three Legged Boar. The first morning. Green hair." Hopefully it wasn't too vague and some players would answer her call. Another reason to stay awake: It was imperative to do this today or she would miss a brilliant opportunity. She hadn't really considered it when it had been offered at the town of beginnings, but now she was sure. A wide grin settled on her face as she flipped back her long green locks. Kaori resumed to eating, eyeing the tall oak doors. |
