Appearance: As an androgynous asian male, Elpharae has glossy dark-brown hair that usually looks black that reaches his hips, usually kept in a flawless braid, but it also is kept straight and let down. With soft features that seem feminine and piercing dark eyes that can range from the color of smoky quartz or onyx, it may be difficult to distinguish Elpharae from a female, with his slender but slightly masculine build. His thickly lashed, almond-shaped eyes are paired with full, coral-colored lips usually drawn into a firm line with just a hint of mirth dancing within.
Another important thing about him is that he crossdresses, with a wide-flowing skirt and kimono-style wrap and sash. He tends to not wear shoes, instead walking barefoot. He also has a flower-style hair accessory in his hair.
He has lightly tanned skin and a small, heart-shaped face with slightly defined cheekbones and a small nose, with dark eyebrows following the curve of his eye. Elpharae likes to keep his posture straight as possible, and has a beauty mark to a little distance away from the right corner of his mouth. He smells faintly of bitter tea leaves and floral perfume, and travels with a quick, brisk walk. Elpharae also has a clear, warm voice, which is more feminine, but he tends to be quiet and shy, so unless you ask him whether he’s a boy or girl, it may be hard to distinguish his gender.
The boy is fifty-nine point four inches tall and has long, slender limbs, at around ninety pounds.PERSONALITY
Elpharae is gentle, calm, and usually kind. He has a very go-with-the-flow personality outwardly, but inside, he’s calculating and manipulative. He’s driven-whatever it takes, he will get to where he wants to be. However, this is easily hidden behind his demure demeanor. He’s soft-spoken and shy, doesn’t speak much unless spoken to first, and is more of an introvert than anything.
Elpharae has a fiery temper on things he really cares about, quick to rise and fluctuating unsteadily. He may act calm, but his anger will show through biting remarks and sarcastic comments. He’s easily intimidating if he wishes to be, cold and detached, but usually is tranquil. During a first impression, the player can come off as cold, but warms up easily.
He hates half-finished projects or uncompleted tasks, the boy is a workaholic and tends to go into overdrive in an effort to finish everything. When angered or somehow made mad or annoyed, he has a bad habit of tending to slip into Japanese or French and to mutter curses under his breath. He’s also a perfectionist and likes to keep things neat, so you could find him sweeping in his cabin or organizing items.
The player loves routine. He’s very intelligent and has enough street-smarts to get by. Elpharae also enjoys solitude, and can be rather distant while he’s spacing out.He's a very graceful kind of person, and hardly ever trips. He dreams a lot, and can often be seen caught in a web of day dreams. He also has strange quirks, such as fussing over his hair. The Elpharae often unconsciously sizes people up by their appearance. His thoughts can start on one object and end up on a whole different plane unless he concentrates on one particular item.
Elpharae is fiercly protective and possessive, tending to act first and think second when it comes to his friends. He's a (well hidden) mother hen at best when it comes to his friends, and will try to keep them safe at all costs, foregoing his normally quiet and calm nature. Open with parts of his past-and only parts, he tends to throw everything else to the wayside and focus on what he is passionate about. But with his age comes a very playful part of his personality, which means that he's exuberant and free-spirited, as well as bold and filled with energy. He likes to tease others and laugh. Akihiko was the second child of a relatively wealthy family, having an older sister named Amaya. Amaya was very close to him as they grew up, since both parents worked and they were occasionally left alone. They were raised strictly, always told how to act or what type of careers they should pursue. However, as he turned eight, his sister was diagnosed with a terminal cancer and died.
This caused his mom to quit her job to look after her only son, and Akihiko was pampered and always looked after. His mother's well-meaning protectiveness came off as overbearing, and so he tried to break away. This caused him to have his secluded, quiet nature, withdrawing from reality. He thrust himself head-first into his passions, such as dance and writing, and never looked back. After being accepted into a private university on a writing scholarship, he's working on a couple of books.
Standing in line for days, when he finally got the game, what he did first was go home and try it on after a quick meal. Once he was immersed into the world, what he found out, when trying to log out after testing out the basic features, was that he could not log out. After a call to the gamemaster, what he deduced was that there was a bug/glitch, and so they were stuck. Mentally reviewing his options, Akihiko decided to try to train first, checking out the Town of Beginnings and such to flesh out this world, much like he would do when he was world-building in his books.
In the game, Elpharae stays secluded in the back parts of towns and heavily-populated areas. He likes to be in forests and greenery, so he often wanders off alone into meadows or other places filled with fauna.
