With one more attack the boar finally fell. The two girls were fighting it for a while but eventually it wasn't that hard because they were working together for this one. They both didn't lost a lot of hp. Well, they only took down one boar as well. Maybe this entire dual training program was better thought out than they first anticipated. In to larger groups it would take ages for all with all the shared xp to level up. It would be slower than alone, but together they not only could kill monsters faster, but it was also safer than just cutting down random monsters by yourself. A spear user and a sword user were resting on an open field were they would see any approaching monsters coming from kilometers away. They're names were Saki and Hikari, but nobody would know that even if they could see their usernames, which was NakiSara and Hiwata respectively.
"I don't know Sara, maybe we should split up. I think it would be more beneficial if we went to hunt alone. The boar wasn't so though right, we probably can take a few down today even if we are alone." Hikari Argued. Hikari was worrying about the split xp. It would take ages to level up if we stayed teamed up. Then there was the risk of getting killed, which was said to be final both here and in the real world. Some people had already died and their names were placed in the city they all started in. So it was very likely that they really were dead and that it was some sort of memorial to remember the dead by. For now the two were happy nobody in the gaming club had died already. As long as that remained Saki was sure they would be alright.
"eh.. Hiwa, I don't think that's a very good idea. What if we run into something that isn't a boar. There have been rumors of other creatures around here. Maybe some of them are more powerful. And what if we run into something unexpected." Saki stated her counterargument. Saki herself wasn't so sure about splitting up and risking one of them dying, not to mention that she herself wasn't really experienced with RPGs in general.
"You mean some kind of delayed spawn only to appear later, when the stronger players have moved on? Hmm... I don't recall any of those have been sighted, but I could be wrong. And we don't know yet for sure if the game does that or not. You're right. We should stick together at least for now." So it was decided. They decided to stay cautious about what the game could sent after them for now. They were only level 1 and getting killed by a surprise attack while being alone could be a heavy blow not just to the gamer club, but to the entire player base. Because every player that died was one less that could clear the game. The party of two decided they had wasted enough time by now, and would decide to continue to find more creatures to find.
