Little changed when coming to SAO because not that much changed. She misses her family very hard, but is otherwise with the people she likes to hang out with yet. With no deaths of people she cares about yet it doesn't seem to affect her much for now. This might change once people actually start dying en mass or if someone close to her dies. Since she hadn't participated in a major event yet she hasn't seen someone actually dying yet. She certainly heard the rumored and is scared about it, but one wouldn't tell it from the way she behaves.
Saki is a polite person for global standards. She prefers to be called Naki in game and Sara to the people she is close to. She herself will call people by their last name as well unless told otherwise or if only one name is given that name. She speaks English rather well, but she does has a Japanese accent that can't be erased no matter how hard she tries. Being a real people person she actively seeks new contact with other people. Saki is a kind person and prefers not to kill other people inside the game or not. She will defend herself and her friends in particular. She can be rather naive, and is easily influenced by others. Especially those she likes a lot. She tries to keep up with others, but as a novice gamer this isn't always difficult. For her stats she basically agreed to be an off-tank so all she had to do was put a lot of points in Endurance. Otherwise her choosing stats would probably have taken a very long time.
While she becomes defensive rather easily it takes a lot of her to become aggressive. She isn't one to start a pvp fight for no reason. Dueling is fine though, since it isn't lethal. Other than that she enjoys a good fight just as much as any other player. One more thing that people have noted about Saki is her determination. It's not that she never gives up or runs away, it just means that she will always be back. Being very energetic herself she always tries to cheer up people who are feel down for whatever reason.LIKES

«LV 1. TIRELESS CHARGE» (0/10) EFFECT: 1 STRIKE AT 150% (LINEAR AOE, MAXIMUM RANGE: 10 METERS) (COOLDOWN: 4 TURNS) TRIGGER: The user spread their legs and holds their off arm in front of them, while their main hand is behind them. Shield users can also decide to use the shield to charge instead. The user then charges forward to activate the Skill. DESCRIPTION: At first it just looks like the user is getting ready for the fight, but suddenly the already are making an attack at an unexpected speed. The attack can travel a wide distance in a short time. Not only useful for protecting weaker or fragile party members, such as scrappers. Timed right it can intercept slow attacks on other people. The ideal weapon to use this Art with is a spear, but other pointy pole arms or certain piercing swords could work as well, albeit less effective. This attack is in a line which can be bend slightly. The user goes fast enough to damage those she hit mid-charge. This does not make the user immune to damage herself. An attack could still damage and possibly interrupt the Art. The user still needs ground to charge forward, they can't use it to charge someone over on the other side of a river unless the river wasn't very deep for example. | |

[PTab=«BIOGRAPHY»]
Saki was born in Tokyo in a loving family with two older sisters who were twins. At a first glance there was nothing wrong with Saki's life. Her family loved her and on her first day on school she made two wonderful friends. At first this was fun, they loved a variety of things. From hanging out after school at each others house to going to an arcade sometimes. Her scores on school were good. Not top 10 of the class or anything but something that could give her a decent future. They were like that for her entire elementary school. Never did she actually fail a test. During Junior high school her points only became better. Her scores would bring her close to the top 10 of the class. Her teachers and family was proud of her and her friends were glad for her. This however would have dire consequences that nobody could have predict.
Because her scores were significantly higher than those of her two best friends at her junior school they became separated when going to senior high school. As Saki would go to a more challenging, and prestigious school. Having less and less contact with her best friends she was bored the first few days of high school and no club in particular interested her. Even though they had a rather wide amount of clubs. Eventually she started to connect to a classmate. Hikari Miki was her name and she was a hardcore gamer and also a member of the gamer club at school. The first month it was just chatting, walking home together and sometimes play a game together. Saki found herself to like such games very much. Much more than she remembered when she was younger and went to the arcade. Each day they spend hours in that club room, playing different kind of games on different kind of consoles. Then there was the announcement that a virtual reality MMO was going to be made. Once the club heard this the entire room was in an uproar. Never before had Saki witnessed the hype that would follow if a promising game was announced so this was kind of new to her.
The entire gaming club had gathered and was standing first in line to buy the new game Sword Art Online. They all had saved up for this. Saki herself wasn't sure if she wanted to play this game, but it was new and the entire club vouched that it had to be good. Since she knew next to nothing about RPG's and she always had wanted to try one she would take their word for it. That afternoon the entire gaming club did not leave the club room. When a teacher came to check she only found the unconscious bodies of the club members lying in the club room. Luckily she first went for a doctor instead of trying to remove the nervegear from one of the students. The school doctor arrived a few minutes later, but he already was informed by the sudden news program on the radio. So he knew there was no way to get them out. The only thing they could do was hoping that they or someone would beat the game and get back out.
Meanwhile in the game itself the entire gaming club couldn't believe their eyes and ears. No matter how often they tried to log out, it wouldn't work. The first thing they did after Kayaba's speech was reunite themselves which each other. With their lives on the line there was only one right direction, to the top floor of the game. And they will reach it together. Saki and the entire Gaming club was very determined to reach the top even with their lives at stake. They were on large team, and would team up as often as possible to train, grind or fight strong foes together. It was a reassurance that even though it was dangerous, she wasn't alone.
