Rue looked at her home that she had just finished decorating to her liking. The lights and darks of the woods and walls made it feel comforting and sturdy. The mix of traditional with modern Japanese homes made her feel like she was back home or at her grandparents for a vacation. While it was smaller then she was used to it had charm. Rue began putting the finishing touches on her home. Placing all types of dishes from dessert plates to serving patters in the cupboard the way she wanted. The small lighter items would go on the higher shelves, while the heavier items would be put on the lower cupboard to reduce accidents. Done with the last of her moving, looking around Rue home felt as empty as her one back at home did. What was she fighting for honestly, to go back to a world where she has no friends and where no one cares about her unless she is doing what they want. Staring at the dark stone counter top and looking into her reflection. She thought back to the friends she has made here and thought of what will happen when the leave this world. Will they still be friends or will they be strangers and never see each other again. Taking advice from what she had said to other and not thinking about things out of her hands. Rue would have to live by her words if she was going to preach. If she felt that she was lonely and that her home was empty. Why not fill it with friends. Rue would message all of her current friends she had on her friend list. It was a bit of a selfish thing to do, since they are trapped in a death game to sit down and have a celebration seems childish. Though Rue wanted to make time for happiness even now and then to let the doom and gloom wash off. Sending a message to Janeiro,Relsialle, Athena and even Angelo. She would understand if they were busy it's not really a good use of time. House Warming Party Won a home in the current event. Thought It would be nice to have a get together where we can just enjoy ourselves.I understand that this is an odd request, but I would like it if you would come celebrate with me. There will be food and drinks. We can talk and forget about are worries even for just a fleeting moment, but it would be nice to see my friends again. I understand if your busy, as I know this is not the best use of are time. I know that I am useally serious and not one for games and jokes for playing around. Even so I would like to show you that I am not cold and unfeeling. Please accept this letter as a invite. Your Host: Rue At the bottom of the letter would be her address and a p.s stating that they can bring a friend if they would like and that their is no dress code. Rue knew what most of the people on her list like to eat expect for Relsialle and Athena. Her sister was from Ireland and it was an island so Rue would assume she would enjoy seafood maybe oysters or lobster. Athena was more mysterious to Rue as she was unsure of her ethnicity. She looked to be european, but with so many countries it would be hard to accurately guess. Maybe sweets and one of the other food items that Rue would get she would enjoy? Rue made a list in her head for food items. Janeiro said she enjoyed crab and is said I treat Angelo to so good curry one of these days. Relsialle lobster and a assortment of sweets and pastries with salads and other appetizers. Also some drinks teas and alcohols and juices. Rue would also like to where something more light and friendly since armour and weapons don't make welcoming attire. leaving her home and set out for the restaurants over the port town. They would have the seafood she would be after since she could not cook. Rue walked through the main part of the town, the sights and smells of the restaurants and npcs making their deliveries to the businesses moved around the town, as if they were the lifeblood of the port town. Rue would ask a rather rough and tumble fisher man that seemed to be leaving an inn to start his daily routine. He was tall and had stubble and a smoke poking out of his mouth. " Excuse me sir do you know the best place in town for crab and lobster"? The man would rub his beard and look down at the small girl. He spoke with a hard voice and with a rough manner of speech. " Yeh me and my crew supply one of the best joints in town. The only place in town that's worth you col is John's. You want to go down and then take a right by the ah fuckin um smoke house. It's a bar but tell em Bill sent you and they'll let you in". Rue thanked the man and proceeded to go to the place he specified. Asking other towns folk they would agree that John's while not the nicest place had the best food.

[Janeiro]

That day Janeiro noticed something that since being trapped in Sword Art Online she had rarely paid any attention to - the date. Had she not put on the NerveGear to escape from the real world, today Janeiro would have started the new school term, walking through the cherry trees still blooming in pink to the main entrance and starting her final year in high school, her parents calling her phone in the morning, mostly wanting to talk about how important it was now to study more than ever and prepare for college, suggesting that she could take preparation classes in the evenings instead of using her free time for herself. The thought of progressing as a member of society felt alien now. Even continuing school... judging by the progress so far it would take many years to beat the game and get back into the real world, if Kayaba would even allow that. It was much more likely that either people outside would find a way to free the players or Kayaba would kill them all. There still was this rumor that those killed would just wake up, finding themselves victim of an extremely cruel prank.
Janeiro shook her head a little. In her situation there was nothing she could do about it except trying to beat the 100 floors of Aincrad. Rue liked to remind people of not worrying about things they could not change. The small pale girl really was one of a kind.

A small pop-up signaled that someone had messaged Janeiro who at that moment was still walking through the Highlands. Speak of the devil! She read through Rue's invitation to a housewarming party. The tone seemed a little depressed, making Janeiro worry. She was going to go anyway, but because of the way Rue wrote now she definitely had to. It was true this was not typical of Rue either, meaning the not-third-year student had to attend such a rare event. The thought of Rue sitting alone in her apartment with tons of food, waiting for people who would not come was heartbreaking. With each additional thought Janeiro found more reasons to go. So she had won an apartment, huh. Janeiro had just bought one herself. Hopefully it was easy to find. Janeiro's eyes moved down to the address. Wait a second, it was the same as hers! She had seen other players in the house before, it made sense. Back in Port Noir Janeiro would have to check the nameplates for the apartments immediately, but there was still time.

The short sentence about not having a dresscode only made her more nervous about what to wear. After she arrived back in Port Noir she first stopped by the apartment building, only to find out that there were no nameplates. Her head must have mixed it up with those she knew in real life where every apartment building had them. That explained how she had not noticed living so close to Rue however. She went back outside again to shop for clothes, after a few stores being sure that the floor did not have anything to offer Janeiro would like to wear. Instead she bought cloth and started tailoring herself. The result was a well-fitting blue blouse with short sleeves and tan shorts showing a lot of leg, additionally she wore a leather belt. Janeiro looked at her creation on herself in front of the mirror, satisfied with the result. The timing was perfect as she would have to go over to Rue's apartment soon anyway.

Elpharae ran a hand through his hair, managing to tie it all up in a braided, low-set bun, each strand of hair perfectly set in place before he glanced self-consciously at his new outfit. It was pretty, he knew (he had bought it, after all) and he was glad that SAO seemed to have no gender divide with clothes you could buy. He glanced at the white off-shoulder fit and flare dress, taking in the delicate pattern of lilac-colored blossoms with ebony-shaded branches reaching up the skirt. The brunette particularly admired the clean, airy design. It was't luxurious, but rather simple and elegant, something he could appreciate, and it was within his taste anyways, so it didn't matter that much. The crossdresser merely smoothed out the front, ignoring the reminder that the sensation of fabric against skin gave him that the fabric was rough and coarse, instead of

He tucked a dark lock of hair behind his ear, blinking unseeingly at the scenery that surrounded him before giving a start. It seemed like he had wandered off in his own thoughts again, and the brunet sighed at his own antics before the player tapped his finger against his cheek, thinking as he walked down the street, trying to focus. He had skipped breakfast, so maybe he could settle for a late brunch somewhere...and so he turned on his heel, walking in the opposite direction. He had heard there was a lovely French cafe somewhere near the smokehouse on the other end of the town, so Elpharae headed there, wondering what the rumor might have made up, and whether it was actually there at all.

Thankfully, it did exist, and so Elpharae stopped by the brick building, reading the sign before nodding decisively. This was the place. He felt someone bump into him and turned, surprised, only to see a girl a little taller than him, murmuring a polite apology in French, her wide, blue-colored eyes blinking at him. The green player tilts his head, only to hear her reply cut into his intake of breath sharply, making him smile and wait politely enough, merely readjusting the thick piece of fabric on the sides of his arms, which kept his dress in place, since it was in an off-shoulder style. His leg swept out, drawing idle circles on the cobblestone with his foot as he listened to her speak. She was pretty, with light-colored hair and doll-like features, which he resisted the urge to coo at and pat her head when she tilted her head in turn, tan curls bouncing, each one the size of a slim wrist. "Je suis désolé, mademoiselle. Tu vas bien?"

He replied with a quick shake of his head and a gentle correction that made her eyes widen. "Je vais bien. Je vous remercie. Mais je ne suis pas une fille, je le crains." Elpharae inclined his head, smiling teasingly. "Après tout, un garçon dans les vêtements de la jeune fille est encore un garçon, est-ce pas?" I'm fine. Thank you. But I'm not a girl, I'm afraid. After all, a boy in the clothes of a girl is still a boy, is not he not? It was lovely to chat with someone in a language that he could understand without the system translating it for him. He smiled and giggled along with her professed amazement, and the two took a seat at a helpfully placed table, abandoning their thoughts of food in favor of a conversation. They talked about everything from the styles of fashion to the common styles of literature in the game, exchanging thoughts and grinning mischievously.

"Oh, je devrais y aller! Je suis censé rencontrer un ami pour un rendez-vous. Nous vous remercions de la conversation. Il était agréable de vous rencontrer, monsieur Elpharae." Oh, I should be going. I'm supposed to meet a friend for an appointment. Thank you for the conversation. It was nice to meet you, mister Elpharae. With that note, she leapt to her feet, cinnamon-colored hair flying out behind her as she hurried to her appointment. Elpharae stood serenely, and turned to face back to the cafe, noting with that they had quite a few seafood-based dishes, which made sense. He was about to enter before realizing that he wasn't as hungry as earlier, and then sighed, throwing up his hands to head to a conveniently placed fruit stall.

After handing over the Col that was deemed necessary by the merchant, he bit into the apple delicately, making sure that no juice dripped down from the fruit before turning around, completely unaware that he was nearby the bar with a huge sign saying "John's", and he turned to leave, throwing away the stem before bumping into someone a little taller than him, and then looking up, murmuring a quick apology that died mid-way through his second French vowel.

" Sometimes things are more fun with your life on the line…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Relsialle Lv5 The invitation couldn’t have come at a better time due to the strange morose mood that had befallen a good portion of the raid group that had led the way to the second floor. Even the normally upbeat Relsialle had taken several days to bounce back given the events that had transpired both during the battle and immediately after when Kayaba himself had appeared to show how fruitless their efforts were despite their miraculous efforts. The scenery change at least raised her spirits, the village of Port Noir and the associated smaller hamlets scattered about the floor offered at least a familiar bit of atmosphere as it reminded her of the coastal hamlets of her native Ireland. The pink-haired musician was a city-girl at heart, but the love of the weather and the ever-present smell of fish and murky-water seemed almost built in her blood. The streets of Port Noir were still a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of Beginnings, the white-washed buildings offering a slower way of life that marked a considerable break from the energy and the international flare that the massive city of the first floor provided. Relsialle had been exploring the waterside when the message from Rue entered her mailbox, the sharp ding sounding across her GUI prompting a warm smile to appear on her features as she sassed the rowdy fisherman with her trademark wit and banter. The young teen had made a mark on her no doubt, the mark quickly turning into a sisterly affection after their chaotic first meeting, the white-haired tank seemingly cracking her own introvertive shell in the presence of the light-hearted Irishwoman. They had made each other stronger no doubt, Rues tactical thinking making an impression on the often impulsive and improvisational kunoichi…the exchange building them both up in the face of the danger that had befallen them in the earlier floor. After a tour of the nearby market, Relsialle outfitted herself well, noting that her standard street clothes seemed at tad well-known (even when they were anything but) for such an unusual occasion…especially a party hosted by the one person that seemed the least likely to be responsible for such an event. The thought of how much the girl changed overall drove the rogue to encourage the behavior as much as possible, doing her own part to make the gathering one to remember, given the hardships that awaited them as the search for the dungeon entrance moved forward. She traded her short-sleeve yukata with something a measure more elegant: a thin black cotton top with strategic slits cut in rows along the sides…a garment that seemed almost equally at home with her punk/metal style but well-made and fitted enough to easily pass at a dress-function. In addition, as one’s eye traced her figure downward, a black ankle-length leather skirt graced her lower half with twin slits on each side to the knee…something a measure more modest than her normal wear…but even Relsialle is allowed to dress up every so often, isn’t she? The thief’s hair was worn up, worn in a quickly braided bun to match the overall gothic-feel of the outfit that graced her lithe figure. The entire look brought a smile to her features, silently wondering how those that knew her would take to it, used to her more immodest and utilitarian look. Regardless of how much she wished to make an entrance, she maintained the black boots from her armor as well as the thigh sheath that held her trademark weapon…the scabbard occasionally peeking out from the open slit in her elegant skirt, proving that even as style conscious as she was, the game they played was none-the-less inherently dangerous. The Irishwoman had begun made her way to the apartment blocks as soon as the digital sun had hidden itself behind the larger hills of the highlands…a large bottle of the dark rum that graced the taverns of the floor tucked gently under her arm… (-40 Col)

Bumping into someone Rue looked at the girl as an apology formed and then died as she looked at Rue. Getting a better view of the girl. As Rue apologized recognized their face, it was Elpharae. Thinking back on the question about his relation to the man with the dragon tattoo. However their was simply no time as the small girl had places to be and items to get for her party. " Sorry for bumping into you Elpharae, and again at my actions on our first meeting. I do not have time to chat as I am currently shopping for a party. It's good to see you again and that you are well, but I must be on my way". Rue politely excused herself and entered John's. The bar was not much to look at and the customers seemed to be mostly sailors and fishermen. Moving to the counter she would order five whole steamed crabs and three whole lobsters. The barkeep looked at the girl, and before he said anything Rue mentioned Bill. Closing his mouth he would ring up the order. Thankfully in this world things are instant, paying for the items she would place them into her inventory and rush out. Rue rushed around the town getting all of the items she would need for the party, and teleporting back to the first town to get the good curry for Angelo if he came to the party. Rue had been running around all day getting the items required for the party. She could not stop as the sun started to wane, and her clothes for the evening still needed to be bought. Rue had been thinking about what she wanted to where to the party. She felt like a mix of blue and yellow would be a nice mix of colours that would suit her. Going to the closest tailor the she knew of Rue bought a simple blue summer dress with frills around the top of the dress. She also bought yellow ribbon that she would braid into her bangs holding them to one side. Sprinting back to the teleporter and her home. The small girl's chest lifted up and down rapidly as she had not stopped for the entire day do to her being unexperienced in throwing parties. Setting the table in her living room with the appetizers, which consisted off sashimi, fruits, vegetables and dips, salad and breads. Placing them neatly on platters and laying the sauce in dips in small bowls for the party goers to chose how they would like their food. Laying the proper sliver wear and plates in the middle the table looked like one had entered a buffet. On the outer kitchen counter Rue lined up cups to mugs with stemmed and tea cups ready for use. On the back counter tea leaves and packages, with spirits waited on the back counter. The more sensitive drinks were held in the fridge. With the table and house set Rue would ready herself to be presentable. Putting on her new dress with the blue flats she had from her other set of clothes. Braiding her bangs to one side with the yellow ribbon. Rue would just barely make it as she heard a knock on the door.

Janeiro had attended a few celebrations before, usually for completed quests, but usually they were held in the local tavern, with strangers around and generally not in an atmosphere that was extremely comfortable for Janeiro. She was sure in a place more private like the owned apartment it would be much nicer. Hopefully it wasn't going to end with just everyone getting drunk like some parties were, with people becoming irresponsible, vomiting or making decisions they would regret a lot later. Not really Janeiro's style. She did not even know who would be coming, able to guess some but since she had only seen Rue from time to time she had no idea who else she considered her friends, quite likely Janeiro would meet some new faces tonight.

Alright, it was finally time. Janeiro opened the door to her own apartment, heading for Rue's. A house-warming party, huh... She suddenly froze. She did not have a gift! Looking outside at the setting sun she started to panic. Not knowing whether Rue expected one or not, she could not show up without one. Worst case scenario was everyone having one except for Janeiro. Quickly she ran down the stairs in her simple white flats and into town, looking left and right down the street for shops. She knew some people liked to bring alcohol to such an occasion, well, that wasn't going to happen. She decided to head to the right and paced down the street, looking left and right for inspiration, trying to force her head to think faster.
Janeiro found nothing, and time was advancing. She had to come up with something now. Rue liked history, right?



She looked at her gift. It was a monstrosity, but it had to do. Not being able to stand the sight much longer Janeiro put it into her inventory and hurried back, hoping she would not be the last one to arrive. She knocked at Rue's door which was opened shortly after. Seeing the small girl in a dress like that was a surprise. "Rue! You look so cute!" Janeiro said and looked around. She liked that the apartment had a strong Japanese touch to it. Her own had stayed pretty barren so far, this felt much more warm. Rue had prepared everything neatly, and Janeiro could already smell a few of the treats waiting for the guests. Typical for the pale girl. "Is that... crab?"

Needed To Bring A Gift!

No One Told Me That I

One message. From the most unexpected person Angelo thought to get a message from. The stoic young female that did not particularly like the white-haired male in any way. Why did Rue send him an invitation to her party? He couldn't think of a single reason why she would. As he read the brief message sent by the tank, the boy relaxed on the lake side with his feet in the water.

Should he go? It would be rude not to go when a person like Rue has invited you over.. Maybe she simply wanted to show off her new house? No, she wasn't that stuck up. Angelo sighed as he stood up. With the towel he was sitting on, he wiped his legs dry and equipped his socks and shoes. The location was.. Port Noir. He looked to his left, seeing the multiple-story shanty town towering over the serene blue lake. The boy sighed. If only it actually looked nice would he consider living here. The view was great, spectacular even, but the place to live in? Not soo desirable. He was no more than a mile away from the town. Might as well walk it rather than teleport.

Angelo hadn't spent a lot of time inside Port Noir, his primary reason being that it wasn't interesting to him. Because of that, he didn't know his way around town and as such, got lost. A good amount of time passed now, and the green-eyed teen was fairly sure that he finally found the place. He stood outside the doorway, his hand hovering over the door. What should he say once he knocked? What if it was just the two of them? What if..

The white-haired teen knocked on the door, wondering what he was going to expect.

Now over the encounter, Elpharae blinked at the invitation he received to come to her party, an address and a time being given. He thanked her perfunctorily, still a little too shocked to do much else, and then he brushed off the front of his dress as she left, still a little surprised. His eyes widened in realization when her words finally clicked, and he felt the urge to hit himself lightly. Coughing awkwardly, he blinked at his reflection in the glass of the cafe nearby before exhaling quietly. Alright. Party. Yes. What time and what place? He hummed a little before going through his mental list.

At most parties, there was a gift to be given-though he wasn't sure whether it was necessary, seeing as how most of the "parties" he had gone to as a child were mostly balls and high-class social soirees, and so he bit his lower lip before giving up and finally entering the cafe. After consorting with the waitress for a minute behind cupped hands, both wondering what exactly what the best thing to bring to a party would be, before they finally decided on a set off small, delicate (read: very pretty(?) cardboard-he wasn't so sure about that) box of profiteroles, each one a little too coarse and imperfect for him to be pleased about wasting his money, but it was only the second floor, after all, and so he let some of his frugality disappear.

He stepped lightly to the location, noting that there was a flight of stairs that he was probably expected to climb, and with a sense of trepidation, he kept the box of quickly cooling chocolate-drizzled cream puffs near his knees, taking care to not disturb it in any way, and then spotted a hand knocking at the door, which lead to a familiar white-haired, green-eyed boy...and that was not a metaphor. He nearly dropped his box in shock, but merely greeted Angelo politely, tucking his hair behind his ear with one smooth motion.

"Hello, Angelo," He greeted politely, his smile warm, but still a little detached, wondering why the tall white-haired boy was here before calming himself. Angelo and Rue must have met before, and she must have invited him there. How...unexpected. He didn't realize that she knew Angelo. To be honest, they didn't seem like people who knew each other intimately by choice...so perhaps it was coincidence that brought them together? With a nod of acknowledgement, he turned to face the door as it opened alongside the other green player.

Rue had opened the door, and he took a moment to admire her dress. "You clean up well, Rue," He complimented warmly, taking in the dress's flattering frame. Navy was a lovely color, and the yellow brought out the warmth in her skin tone, as well as the golden tones in her eyes amongst the amber. Of course, navy also brought out her porcelain-colored skin, and the way that the dress was structured flattered her frame. The lower, filmy skirt was able to emphasize her legs subtly, and the ruffles brought attention to the bodice, making the piece flow well as a whole.

Of course, the ruffles gave the piece a feminine look, European-inspired, perhaps, the ruffle design perhaps popular in America but similar to the European cravat or jabot. Elegant statement. But it wasn't Japanese, lacked that subdued-mono colorful-pastel look that most Japanese fashion gave in spades, a sort of "there-ness" that fashion screamed in certain pieces. It could have fit in with a casual boutique in the US, perhaps, though. That bold color scheme...hmm. His eyes landed on a dark-haired girl and he smoothed out his off-shoulder floral dress, the white fabric with lilac-colored blossoms rough against his palms. "Hello," He greeted.

The complex seemed impressive from the outside, matching Port Noir’s aesthetic but in a much more well-built manner…reflecting a more middle-class if not wealthy sensibility to contrast with the more worn down buildings in town. She had considered getting herself a place, especially knowing that Rue and perhaps others lived nearby…the attempt at playing house and at a real life within the game having a definite appeal. Who was she to not make the best of the situation, given the obvious unknown in regards to time that they would remain trapped? Still, it seemed unusual to her but not entirely repulsive, since after all it afforded a measure of permanence if not a blatant surrender to life in-game. The musing forced the rogue to lower her eyebrows in thought, finally shaking her head…Where did this new-found determination come from anyways? The Irishwoman chuckled at the last question, a smile gracing her features…bound and determined to make the best of life however it greeted her, even in this form. Still, given her particular ability she could possibly afford a residence that would dwarf anything she could ever obtain by playing music. One still could do both after all, the thief thought, why not make the best out of the life she had…no doubt there were grander cities and houses as they moved forward up the long chain of floors. She had stopped moments before to apply a bit of charcoal to her eyes, the dark circles allowing the deep blue to strike out with a renewed intensity, the pink-haired musician enjoying the momentary opportunity to dress up a rarity given the intensity that the player base had with both the grind and clearing now that progression seemed viable. Still even in the real-world these occasions were still rare given her income and occupation, a tattered t-shirt depicting underground bands along with the ever present torn and patched jeans her personally favorite standbys…Her slender fingers balled into a fist as she knocked on the door…the heavy wood vibrating as it sounded her presence, a bright smile present on her features as she awaited the answer.

As Rue was preparing the dishes and plates for the party, she would hear a knock on the door. A rush of excitement flowed through her as she hastily moved over to the door and opened it. The door revealed her older friend Janerio who was wearing a well fitting blue blouse that showed her form off. As well as tan shorts that showed off a look of leg. As Rue greeted Janeiro with a smile, the older girl would comment on her clothes rather loudly. Rue blushed slightly at her genuine complement, from her very beautiful friend. " Thank you, you look very nice as well". As Janerio enter and looked around at Rue apartment and took in the surrounds. A familiar smell made her ask with mild excitement. Rue smiled and brought out the platter with steamed crab laying on top of one another and a bowl of melted butter, being kept a liquid by a small candle underneath it. Placing it down on the table in the living room, and smiling at her friend. " I remembered that you said that you liked crab, but I did not know you liked crab that much*. Rue's giggled at her friends response to crab, " You don't have to wait for the others help yourself". Rue kept putting the finishing touches for the party, " Oh do you want anything to drink I have teas, juice, and more some alcohol for one of my other guest, what would you like"? Rue looked at Janeiro with a smile and the cadence of a maid serving their master. She wanted to make her guest feel comfortable, and wanted them to relax and have fun. As Rue made a drink for her friend and set it down for her, another knock would be heard. Opening the door and seeing Elpharae and Angelo. Angelo seem to still be wearing his armor which was fine, but Elpharae of course would not be out done. Wearing clothing equal to or more exquisite then her own. Smoothing down her dress as she greeted the host of the event Elpharae would comment on Rue's clothing and looks, " Thank you, but it's not as elegant as my pervious dress or yours. You look very beautiful in that dress, but lets talk more inside please come in. I have food and if you would like anything to drink I will ready it for you. I have teas, juices and alcoholic beverages, please don't hesitate to ask if you require anything". Rue smiled and slightly bowed, she was rather nervous as she has never held a party before, and did not want it to be a failure and disappoint her guests. Making the drinks if they requested them Rue would talk to Angelo. " I knew you liked curry so I brought the curry I spoke of when we were talking back at the inn. It's over by the table in the living room, help yourself the rich and curry is separated". Looking to Elpharae as she was in the kitchen. " I'm sorry did not know what you liked Elpharae, but I hope that something here is to your likening. If not I will go and get something for you". Rue sounded disappointed in herself for not asking about what Elpharae would of liked to eat. One last knock would echo into the home as Rue rushed to the door. Opening it she would see her sister and a wide grin would form on the younger sisters face. Driving into Relsialle she would hug the older women and look up at her with joy. " Relsialle I'm glad you came"! Softly hold her sister she would let go after a few more moments. " I have food and drinks just ask and I will get it for you, and of course come in". Rue was glad that so many people came to her party, she would do her best to be the best host ever.

[Janeiro]

Seeing Rue blush made her even cuter. She was susceptible to flattery to some degree, and in this case it was definitely appropriate. Anyone would have found her adorable in that outfit. Getting a compliment back was nice too, although that could have just been politeness. Thinking about it Janeiro realized that would not really be Rue's style, so it made her even happier. Janeiro had chosen her clothes to match the whole fisher theme of the Floor and thought she nailed that pretty well, having tons of fun designing all kinds of wear.
Seeing the big platter of crab made her mouth and almost her eyes water. It looked and smelled so good! But even with Rue's generous offer Janeiro was going to restrain herself. "I would love some tea," she said with a smile, kneeling down in front of the table and looking around the room once more, her hair reaching the floor behind her. The mix of fragrances crawling into her nose was really pleasant.

The other guests seemed to be on time as well. Not knowing who Rue had invited, each knock was the harbinger of a new surprise. First it was Angelo with a very petite girl Janeiro did not know. She bowed politely. The curry should have given away that Angelo would be coming, Janeiro thought in hindsight. The girl was called Elpharae apparently. Since Rue did not know what she liked to eat maybe they did not know each other very well yet either. The name was kind of hard to pronounce for Janeiro, but after having to say Relsialle enough her tongue had become accostumed to complicated names that required using other morae than the black-haired girl was used to. Speaking of which... Janeiro really had a knack today to make people she thought about appear. Her outfit was really cool... almost everyone was dressed up so nicely. Janeiro decided to at least introduce herself to the one guest she did not know. "Hi, I'm Janeiro. You're Elpharae? I met Rue in the dungeon of the first floor..." ugh, how did one translate yoroshiku onegaishimasu? Introducing oneself in English was hard. "I'm pleased to meet you." She implied a bow once more.

Using Different Colors..

"Hey Elpharae. How have you been?" Angelo gave the other boy a warm smile until the door opened in front of him. The green-eyed teen looked down almost a foot at the girl clad in blue. She looked awfully like-

"Rue? Whoa, you look completely different." She was adorned with a simply blue dress with a lot of frills. For someone as young as her, something this simple looked very good on her. He greeted her with a bow, his teeth flashing after raising his head. The inside looked very nice from the entrance. Rue had spent a long time setting up the furniture and other various decorations to come to what he would see right now. "Nice house."

As he stepped into the house, Angelo looked around more to see the layout and placement of items in the rooms. The smell of food attracted his nose, leading him towards the kitchen. Before he got there, he saw a familiar sight that made his heart warm.

"Hey Janeiro, you look very nice." Her choice of outfit was more in fashion with the modern day standards rather than the clothing choices here on Aincrad. She probably had it custom made by a tailor or she had the talent herself. It was then that he realized his current outfit. Angelo brought down his menu and unequipped his armor. It turned a bright blue before disappearing completely, leaving him with the custom-made outfit he wears on occasion: a buttoned white shirt underneath a snug gray jacket. His pants were the typical black variety commonly worn by most players. The silver necklace on his neck was the only accessory he wore aside from the tattoo on his neck, which was pretty much permanent.

Rue talked to him about the curry from the first floor and Angelo distinctly remembered that conversation in the inn. "Thanks Rue. Always thinking about others, aren't you?"

He gave her a small smile before heading back to the living room, completely ignoring the kitchen with the other food. The emerald eyes spotted the curry pot instantly, his mind imagining how it would taste. The boy took out a plate and large spoon and began putting the rice on one side and the hot-looking curry on the other.

Angelo sat down in a solitary section of the house and with his plate full of food, began to partake in the deliciousness on his lap. He occasionally looked up and smiled at anyone who came up to him and would initiate conversation if allowed. Otherwise, he would keep to himself and continue eating curry and getting refills upon refills upon refills.

[Elpharae]

"Thank you, Rue." Elpharae smiled in thanks and inclined his head, pausing for a moment to ask about where he should set his carton before delicately placing it on the table, the chocolate-covered cream puffs still warm yet cool, an oxymoron that came in handy when trying to describe pastries or baked goods. He refrains from blushing as much as he can at her compliment, but his cheeks stain pink and his eyes shine with amusement and gratitude. At her next words, he stifles a laugh, feeling her anxiousness permeate him as if flowing through his skin. "That won't be necessary, Rue. It seems you've gotten what I liked, after all." He hummed in gratitude and then moved a little to the side.

Rue's house was simple but elegant. He hummed again in appreciation before a pretty brunette approached him, and Elpharae blinked before repeating the greeting softly. "It's lovely to meet you as well, Janeiro. Elpharae, as I assume you know, seeing as how you addressed me by name.” He ended his statement by mirroring her bow, sending a slightly teasing smile her way before brushing another stray lock of his hair back. She was a pretty brunette, he supposed, pale-skinned and bright-eyed while still having dark hair. They looked slightly similar, come to think of it, seeing their light skin and dark hair, both with feminine features. He resisted the urge to tilt his head at the fact, and instead toyed with the thought in amusement.

taking a seat nearby and cupping his cheek in one hand idly before quietly getting up. His fingers plucked out a plate and he filled it with a small helping of salad, wondering for a split second where all this food came from before seating himself again, quietly biting into his food. He found no complaints-the greens were crisp and slightly moist, and he patted at his mouth with a napkin, manners kicking in from pure instinct. Society balls and galas…he was just glad there wasn’t a dress code to abide by. He may find interest in wearing casual dresses, but anything more formal and it just didn’t suit his physique, no matter how feminine. He privately shared a smile with himself at that. And he usually bemoaned the fact that he was so feminine, though it certainly suited his way of dress. Ah, well.

Angelo, who had come in with him, seemed to be enjoying himself as well, eating…curry? Elpharae couldn’t imagine eating an entree without an appetizer, but he supposed it differed from person to person. Clearing off his dirty plate and setting it aside, the brunette sipped his glass of water, deciding to abstain from tea today. It was a lovely party, in fact, and he saw Relsaille amongst the rather small group, and blinked in quiet surprise. Janeiro, Relsaille, Angelo…they certainly held similar social circles. He delicately wiped his hands off with a napkin, and then settled for mere gazing around the room.

Angelo looked well-he was dressed slightly differently, and Elpharae now recalled the tattoo he had on his neck, dark eyes flitting to the ink before moving on. Rue he had already seen, and he hoped that some of that initial…nervousness?-he guessed-was gone. No need to be anxious at a party that you were throwing yourself, after all. He sipped his water thoughtfully as the seconds passed, his gaze quietly running over each of the guests.

The rogue chuckled as she held tight to the dark brown bottle under her arm and finally returned the gesture by snaking a hand around her younger counterpart and finally squeezing her tightly in return. “You think I could miss this?” The Irish woman exclaimed, a warm smile still on her sharpened features…her accented words were questioning but carried the good-natured smart-alec-y tone that she had been known for. The girl offered a quick wink of her bright blue eye as she released her younger sister, the smells from the interior of the apartment greeting her with the welcoming aroma. “Oh no need to fuss over me hun…just point me to the cups and I’ll handle the rest. Besides you got to enjoy yourself too!” The pink-haired musician pointed out, sticking out her tongue in jest. The scent filled her lungs as she looked up to see the gathered guests, everyone looking remarkably different from the adventures that she had met them…most of whom she had not seen in anything but combat armor until this point. She too carried a more relaxed appearance, elegant like the others and seemingly overjoyed at the opportunity that the party provided to forget that they were trapped, even if only for a short time. The girl stepped back slightly to get a better look at Rue and the others before finally step in to let the door of the well-decorated space finally close behind her. “Bloody hell…and here I thought I was overdoing it…everyone looks like they are dressed to kill!” The girl said with a smile, hand moving to rest on her hip before nudging Rue playfully like a cat. A thin blade peeked out slightly from the slit in her skirt as she moved, resting in its thigh sheath…a subtle reminder of the nature of their place, the weapon still fitting well with the overall feel of her outfit. The girl pondered a minute before moving a finger to her lips, finally flicking her wrist to the side to bring up her inventory and tapping on an unseen menu… “…but somethings missing I think…” The girl added before nodding in an exaggerated way before turning back to Rue, obviously some unseemly plot crossing her mind in a quick blink. A black linen and leather scarf/hood appeared around her neck, seemingly appearing from the rush of menus just moment before…a rare garment that seemed of the same style as her own that Rue had seen in their last adventure together. Strangely however, it seemed brand new as if freshly minted from the system’s memory, care of a fallen Kobold patrolman. Her free hand reached up to unwrap the fabric from around her neck before turning to wrap her sister in the newly created gift. “There we are…perfect!” The thief grinned wickedly, stepping back slightly to admire her work and the intended housewarming gift. (Transfer leather hood to Rue) The rambunctious player turned to the others before offering a quick wave to the trio, their attentions clearly on the sustenance that Rue had so generously provided for the moment. The young punk-rocker still was taken aback by the sheer nature and scope of the gathering, used to her own idea of parties as an excuse to drink and carry-on rather than simply get together for the sake of a luxurious meal and to escape if only for a night. The girl caught sight of the shelled lobster her crystalline gaze widening in surprise, the price of just that dish alone easily able to break her both in and out of game, “Oh wow! Such a spread!”

Looking up at Relsialle with a warm express, as the older sister tightened her arm around her. Rue's eyes sparkled like yellow jaspers at her sister's smile and her playful comment with a wink of her blue eye. Relasing Relsialle from her hug, Rue spoke back to playful rogue. " You're right, how could you miss your sister's house warming party". Rue sent and playful response back to the older women. As Relsialle entered and Rue offered her a drink, and told her about the food. Looking at her guest with a blank look and took the bottle from the woman's cradling. " We talked about this so many times already". Her face went back to a more playful look. " I will fuss over you all I want... Plus you're my guest, i'll handle it don't worry so much i'm going to the kitchen to make Janeiro her tea. When I've finished setting everything up i'll join in with everyone". Sliding away as the older girl nudge her and commented on everyone's attire. " You're not bad yourself. It must be a special accession you're showing the least amount of skin excusing Angelo". Rue teased her sister as she moved into the kitchen. heating up the milk and stirring it, and then adding it to the tea as it boiled. Pouring it into a tea cup and readying sugar and honey with the correct utensils onto the platter. Setting the tea onto the platter then setting it next to Janerio as she talked to Elpharae. Overhearing their conversation while moving back to the kitchen to get shell cracker for Janerio. " Don't be like that Elpharae, she was just curious". Spinning around Janerio, and stopping at the table to make a plate of crab for Janerio. Holding the plate and melted butter, moving around Jannerio gracefully pretending as if she were dancing. Placing the plate and utensils nearly near Janeiro. " Elpharae and I met while we there was a small dance festival happening". Looking over to the mysterious boy, Rue smiled. " No need to hold back on everyone's account Janerio, you're my guest and I got the crab mainly for you. I'm glad you come, please try to relax". Lowering her voice and speaking more to Janerio then the general guests. " I also wanted to throw this party for you, and Relsialle. You two had a harrowing experience against the first floor boss. I'm sorry I could not be there for you, but next time I will make sure to be there to help you". Reraising her voice from a slightly apologetic tone, back to a more relaxed and joyful one. " Eat up, don't waste food". Rue teasingly spoke as she moved back to the kitchen to make Relsialle a drink. Hearing Relsialle behind her, while Rue made her drink. " Oh yea, what..", Rue felt and scarf appear around her neck. It looked like the kind Relsialle wore. Lifting her hand up to rub the black leather and cloth. Having something around her that protected her and reminded her of Relsialle, made tears form and roll down her cheeks. Handing the older sister her drink, and wiping away the small amounts of tears. Rue looked at Relsialle with joy as she held onto the scarf. " Thank you Relsialle... This is so thoughtful.. I'll treasure it thank you". Rue's voice was soft and touched by her gift. Leaning her cheek into the scarf she closed her eyes and held onto her gift. Changing the ribbon in her hair to a black one, Rue gets Angelo as glass of water. Placing the glass on the table near Angelo. " Angelo slow down, the foods not going anywhere you're going to make yourself sick". Sitting next to Angelo as Relsialle greeted the other, before being impressed by the rather luxurious spread. Rue clears her throat as she plays with her scarf in embarrassment. " Well, I thought do to your heritage you would look lobster.... And I wanted there to be enough food that every enjoyed.. Plus this floor has abundance of seafood, it made sense to.. get.. seafood". Rue looked down tugging on her scarf, it was her first party, and she bought what she thought would be the right amount.
