So her first trip into this forest and of course she got lost. Maybe she should have taken a map with her. Now she was lost in an unknown forest, not to mention this forest was in a game she was stuck in, in which she could really die and was full of wild monsters. Still saki wasn't thinking too much about it. If she did it would only become harder to find an exit outside this forest The club had decided to split up and train individually today and maybe make a few friends outside the team. They probably weren't training in this forest or she might have noticed them already. She decided to follow the path a little more.
'This wasn't going to work...' Saki thought one hour later after walking all the time. She got the feeling she had crossed this place 5 times already. Now to mention it she had been avoiding monsters until she found a way back. Nothing as bad as being killed while lost in a forest you just entered for the first time. Actually, any way to die would be bad but this one took the cake. She would shout for help but that could just as well attract nearby monsters as nearby players or worse: nearby player killers. This did seem like a remote location they might live. Not to forget the place is confusing as it is so maybe they would like it because it makes them hard to find? Saki had a better idea. She walked to a nearby tree and placed a marker on it, she just scratched a random mark inside with her spear she then went on and did the same for a while. She repeated this every few minutes hoping to notice it if she actually was going in circles.
This couldn't be, she returned back at the place where she marked her first tree. She had wandered for another hour or so. What was wrong with this place? No matter where she went it seemed she was bound the return back to this place. Now it was officially the paths in forest connected to themselves again. Now it was just a question of finding the right path... But which one, there could be two other ways and there was no telling which one was right and how many crossroads she would come across before finding her way out of this dark forest.
