~The sun had just risen, Wind rustled the trees leafs, And a tall women walked into the forest. Her dark hair fluttered in the wind, sharp hazel eyes surveyed the surroundings. She wore basic beginners armor and carried a matching dagger. Her footprints were light hardly leaving a track, never disturbing a patch of leafs or a fallen branch that might give away her position. Deeper into the forest she went avoiding boar spawns, Wolf packs, And the occasional Nepenthes. She was searching for the kobolds that lurked here. The spawns were random, An they moved around more than she would have liked but it was better then days of killing boars. They had a more human shape, He combat training was better suited for them than wild beasts. every so often she spotted a player and took refuge in a nearby tree or patch of brush, Watching as they passed. Al the while gripping the blade at her side. From the reactions in town she knew if the wrong group spotted her she would be hunted. Being very much alone Alydra wasn't taking to many chances.~
~Hearing some grunting ahead she prepared to hide again but what came into view was a pair of Kobolds, Finally she thought inwardly. Alydra crouched down, Lifting a rock with her free hand she lobbed it to the other side of the path. As soon as they looked away she was dashing towards them. The nearest one heard the branches as she broke free of her hiding place. But it was to late The dagger flashed forward. Cutting his arm, that held a spear. Next was his gut, the kobold squealed in pain and raised it's weapon. She smiled seeing the chance she brought the dagger up in a arc slashing it throat. Her surprise attack left only one enemy. This one was prepared though. At least she didn't have to face both at once.~
~the second kobold snarled at her. This one carried a wicked curved blade, several notches could be seen along it length. Pitch black fur could be seen poking out from it's leather armor, And a string of teeth that looked like it came from wolfs hung around his neck. He looked pretty strong. Alydra raised her knife in front of herself stretching her left hand in front of it. The tattoos running along her arm glowed red as the kobold charged.~
~She could see it. He was aiming at her left arm. She stepped into the attack at the last second avoiding the attack and slamming her shoulder into the kobolds chest, He staggered as her right hand reversed the dagger holding the hilt in her palm to allow for more force behind the attack. It slid in his left kidney like butter. She repositioned grip, And slipped around to it's side. The kobold howled in pain as the dagger wiggled in his side. She kicked him hard while pulling the dagger back to free it from it's flesh, Blood poured from the wound. Alydra backed away waiting for the monsters counter attack. instead it let out a cry she was sure could be heard through the whole forest. The beast turned back to her a made a expression she guessed was a grin. That could not be good. it's probably calling for help. She needed to finish up quickly before anything else showed up. As if responding to her thoughts the same cry rose up from every direction. She rushed forward trying to plant the dagger into the kobolds heart, But it anticipated this knocking her blade aside it lashed out wildly. A gash appeared on her right arm and stomach. Both appeared shallow but her hp gauge dropped 25%. Stupid! she thought as the kobold cackled. she went for it again this time keeping her guard up. The curved blade shot past her head leaving a small cut gleamed red on her cheek.this time i'v got you. The dagger shot up though the kobolds jaw into its brain. It still laughed up until it vanished it blue pixelated light.~
~She didn't stop to see what dropped. One kobold managed to drop 30% of her hp. Alydra knew many more were likely on their way. Fighting wasn't the smart play here. She had already climbed a tree and was leaping branch to branch. Once she felt she was a safe distance from the kill zone Alydra sat down watching the path below for more kobolds.~
