(A wise man once said that you should fear death...therefore, emergency change of plot line so that I may continue to live. Also it is not meta gaming if the other player says it was ok.)
The players gathering around the Town's central square, after the big death game announcement, there seems to be a lot of fears and anger issues among the Players. Dragonsnow was standing beside one of the buildings, resting by leaning on the walls when the announcement happened, and he was one of those people who thought it to be all of a practical jokes by the Game Masters, death game? Cannot log off? That is got to be a joke.
But after a couple of failed attempts to actually log off, he begins to seriously considered the possibility that someone of the game development team really did went rouge and somehow locked all of them into this game, real life consequences be damned it seems...
In all seriousness, although for the moment, Dragonsnow would like nothing more than to hide in the game a little longer, therefore avoid facing his real life problems, even he realize that leaving his physical body in a coma state in the real life would cause nothing less of a big issue, like it or not he was one of those player who did wanted to go back.
Looking around, there were some players beginning to retreat further into the Town of the Beginning, a wise choice for those who was not here for combat.
He was not one of them, Dragonsnow was not someone who usually play any type of action games, but he knows that his sister plays them all the time and thought...you know, if a brat like her can do it, how hard can it possibly be? I bet that if I try to find for really, it would have been a piece of cake too, I mean, for crying out loud this thing is a game, it is a game, its probably just hit a button and smash, all the attacks and combo already built in in the this game, all i had to do is to lock on a target.
Yeap.
Thinking to himself and coming to a completely logical conclusion, Dragonsnow had just marked Sword Art Online as a hack and smash game, and he was ready to head out outside the walls and maybe join in with the front liner. He walked causally along with the group of players that were heading towards the gate of the Town of the Beginning.
Right after he logged into the game, he was captivated by the graphics and the NPCs and the various things that were happening around the Town, he went to have a look around the Town, and the immediately, the death game announcement happened. So Dragonsnow have not yet step out of the walls at this point, and this will be his first time engaging with the combat system of the game.
Dragonsnow looked around the players that surrounded him, everyone that was within his visual range was wearing the beginner's armor and carrying, the beginner's weapon, no one at particular stands out as being higher level to him.
I wonder where the beta-tester and the higher level players are, surely, even with the short amount of time between launching the game and the announcement, there must be some people who are super combat oriented that have already reached level 2 or higher. He looked some more, and noted that unlike in real life, white hair is now pretty common around the players, but nevertheless, the information holds no purpose to him.
Stepping out of the walls, he blinks at the sunlight and breath in the fresh air, even if this was a game, all of the senses are engaged and it was well designed.
The sudden burst of players into the great plains seems to have caused a somewhat a stir up with the local boar populations, as the previously peaceful boar groups munching lazily on the grasses look up towards the newbies that have just venture outside the walls.
Some of the boars are taking an interest at thefresh meat....I mean, new players, and is starting to approaching this way.
Dragonsnow frowned at that, this is too close, there are too many players around him, the boars in the distance is starting to close in, and some have already started to engaged in fight with some players. There is entirely, too many players around, too many monsters, too noisy, too much stuff going on and it tugs on his sense. Dragonsnow is not used to being around such a crowd yet, and it felt being cornered, so he slipped away, further away from the group of players and running, avoiding the boars and headed towards a random direction.
It did not matter to him of where he was going, because in his mind, this game was not dangerous, it was kid friendly, so going off alone would cause no problem on him and that he just needed to get away for a bit. In his running, he dodged and run out of the range of the boars, heading towards a group of thin and tall trees, he had not engaged in any fight yet.
