"Never Falter Never Look Back!"
| It has been sometime since Rue had visited the first floor and the town that she had started her journey to escape the mad man's world with her own two hands. Her chain and plate armor would clink with every step as she walked along the nostalgic cobblestone roads. The town still looked the same, one thing that was a flaw in the self proclaimed creator of this world, was that only the players changed with time. Everything else stayed the same, same renaissance era Europe stylized buildings. Same npcs running back and forth going about their daily lives, without change in their habitat there would be no change to their daily lives. Without conflict or an change there is no need to adapt and grow. Stopping by the café she used to go to every morning to start the day. This is where she had met her sister for a second time, and it was the beginning to there now close relationship and understanding. Rue would wave to the young waitress, how waved back as she was cleaning a table off. Walking over and standing on the other side of the small fence, giving her a small smile," How have you been, hope the café has been given a break now that us trouble makers have moved on"? Rue spoke in a joking tone to the waitress who sheepishly smiled at the small tank. " Yes it has been much more quiet the usual the other players that have stayed behind are much more stable then the first generation of adventures". Letting out a small laugh as she continued, " But it was fun have all that excitement, I never knew what could happen next, now it's just been serving customers with maybe a rude comment or two". Letting out a light chuckle, "At least the owner does not have to worry about his shop as much". The waitress waved away the concerns of the owner, "But enough about me, look at you. You look even more seasoned now Knight Errant Rue". Looking at her with a pouting expression, " You know I did not take that positions even with all their attempts at hiring me. You so much nicer when I am a customer, Waitress Rebecca". Rebecca let out a snort as she laughed, " Then why don't you sit down as become one, I'll treat you with the respect a lady of your caliber would deserve". Shaking her slowly with slight disappointment, " Sorry but I have others to catch up with as well, maybe when you get off work we can meet up at Sean's"? Rebecca would look over to the rough and tumble bar that had the reputation for being a collection of violence and less than proper ethics. Looking at Rue she smiled and nodded. " It's a date then, I know that you're more violent and rowdy then that whole bar, they tend to be respectful when you are around.. At least a little bit more anyway. Letting out a laugh, Rue would wave to her as she left to meet the others that she has left behind on the first floor. Walking down the cobblestone path she would think about who her and Rebecca first met. At first the small tank would order and not even look at the young waitress, as she planned out her day while enjoying the cafe's delights. After Rue had saved her from a group of customers who tired to take advantage of her, they started to talk more. The ai of this game really did feel like a real live person. They had hopes and dreams and fears just like any other person. Rue and Rebecca would talk about their dreams and fears together when she had the time while at work. As the became closer they went out and spent time together, that is when Rue and her truly talked without her work or Rue letting her mask down as they were away from the watching eyes of others. |
