I want to be strong like her, Tesh thought to himself while kneeling there on the ground, looking down at his torso watching Rue’s blade slice straight through his skin and out the other side. The little remaining amount of strength that he had was taken away swiftly as he could no longer continue fighting now. Well, I managed to last longer than the first guy I guess. It was obvious that I wasn’t capable of winning this duel. I just hope that my efforts were enough to persuade her into accepting me in the guild. Something that has been only a dream now for Tesh after his days of managing to be able to party up with several different groups of players. It was obvious to him that numbers did of course matter, and that no amount of shear strength was within grasp inside this game that would allow any single person to be able to win it alone. That was childish thinking and Tesh felt embarrassed that this was what he hoped to achieve previously to this new understanding of the game. Dropping his blade to the ground the girl sheathed her sword and turned around, walking away from him, the words echoed in his mind, telling him those two simple words…You Pass. But those weren’t the only thing she stated. She said that she wasn’t strong? But why? This thoroughly confused Tesh. I know that one person alone isn’t strong enough to win this entire game but still…she is the strongest player that I have ever seen. Tesh thought to himself as his health refilled back to max and his lost strength from the fight was returned back to him. I want to fight like her…he thought as he stood up as fast as possible before bowing over to the girl who wasn’t even looking at him, as though she was totally uninterested, and then pronounced loud and clear “Thank you Miss!” Standing back up straight Tesh noticed just how large the crowd had gotten to be. Tesh wasn’t one for large groups of people, it made him feel uneasy. But this wasn’t the time to let those kind of fears start to bubble up, after all she told me I passed! What a wonderful moment for Tesh as he felt as though he achieved one of the most important things in all of his time here in Aincrad, that would allow him to further better himself as a fighter, ultimately, getting himself closer to achieving his goal of becoming a player on the front-lines. A player that would be seen by people the same way that people look at Rue. But what does that mean though? What’s next? The young man thought to himself standing there in the middle of the ring still, feeling slightly confused, and probably looking the part as well. Not to mention, neither of the two sent Tesh a party invite or a friend invite, so Tesh didn’t want to just pack up and leave, especially know that he passed their test. As a result, Tesh decided to follow Rue back over to wear her and her other guild-mate wear sitting, along with a new face who appeared interested in joining the guild as well. Good luck he thought to himself for the guy knowing that if he also goes up against what he just underwent he would definitely be in the same boat as himself, in regards to being defeated mercilessly. Following Rue back over where they were sitting he looked over at the other guild member Elpharae, with a smile, saying “Good afternoon”, leaning his head down as a good gesture of respect, and then looking back over at Rue, who sat down, looking back into the ring that they just dueled in, Tesh said to her, “What would you have me do now Miss?” Thankful that she gave him her approval, he was hoping that he would also be allowed to sit and possibly get some more information about the guild, but moreover, he wanted to know what was expected of him from here on out so that he would be able to live up to their standards before making a terrible mistake.

[Elpharae]

Elpharae let out a quietly pleased smile at the newcomer, taking in their stance and expression. Dignity emanated from this man, and Elpharae had always respected the elegant things and people in life. "Of course," He replied simply, tilting his head in a graceful gesture to show respect to this man, voice soft and warm. "Wouldn't be much a guild if we only accepted one member, would it?" With those words, he then focused his attention on Rue, who defeated her opponent quickly and efficiently. Then Rue turned to himself and spoke, the brunet listening and humming in agreement.

"I'm a pretty face and more, Rue," He teased gently, fingers already working his hair into a smooth bun, fingers flattening and smoothing out his dark locks. His fingers locked around his rapier lightly, and he hummed in interest as he headed towards the teal-haired player, sending him a duel request with a flick of his wrist, smile sharp and gentle at the same time. He stepped inside of the white chalk circle and viewed his opponent, assessing him. Teal hair, bright eyes, a quiet sort of strength. His eyes snapped over his form. Ah, perhaps a shield user from his appearance? Maybe a longsword user? Something with reach. In his book, daggers and shields didn't exactly mix. And curved swords didn't seem to fit him, somehow. And an axe? He didn't exactly radiate brute strength.

He shifted into a defensive position, smile gone in favor of a more serious look. His bare feet rubbed against the smooth cobblestone, sending sparks of friction against his slightly rough skin. His rapier gleamed in the light, his dark eyes shielded and cool, completely detached from what was going around him. He kept his dress on, the lightweight fabric much more useful for what he was about to do. The countdown finished. The match began.

He immediately turned on his Acrobatics and Stealth skill, disappearing into thin air and then vaulting over him to make rapid-fire thrusts that he hoped hit while still invisible, aiming towards his back with a feint before making a quick half-turn on his heel, attempting to stabhim in the thigh. He then took his Sword Art, shimmering back into existence to narrowly slide right next to his leg, twisting his wrist to activate his paralyzation. It worked, much to his amazement, and the brunet paused in front of the teal-haired man for a single second after his opponent was paralyzed.

The lad had been dealt with it seemed, and the woman stepped back, leaving Elparae to fight him. So this is a test of sorts, Flint wondered if he was supposed to try to win, or if this was just a skill test type of ordeal. From what Rue had done to the kid it felt more like a power show than anything, but perhaps that was just their way of trying to attract people. All he knew was without a good party he wouldn't be able to do his job, and they seemed plenty strong so this would be worth the time if anything.

"Fair enough."

Elpharae walked back to Rue for a moment before turning back to face Flint again. With a slight nod he wave a hand, a line of macro buttons appearing, with a touch his armor flickered to life. Armor wrapping him now in a full set, a helmet appearing last, as a lance sprang into his right hand. The duel menu popped up next as he finished placing his gear. Stepping inside the chalked circle upon the ground, looking over his opponent. That light rapier wouldn't do much, but it would hit a lot, this wasn't a situation where he could take half measures. As he pressed the accept button he made the motion for his final macro, a large shield appearing about his left arm. Falling into a low ready stance, his shield at guard while his lance was held lightly just to the side of it, the point aiming at Elpharae. Flint's eyes were calm and he eased his breathing, just another day, another fight, and maybe something interesting would come of it.

"I suppose you go fir......"

He cut off his sentence as his opponent disappeared the moment the count down ended. With a yell and a whirl of his spear he slammed the butt of it into the ground, his Sword art activating smoothly as his body began to move. Almost as if on its own his shield snapped up, a slight ping sounded above his head as he spun to follow the instinct that drove his movement. Even with sight gone his senses pulled everything in around him, but there was nothing, nothing to be seen or to hear, all he could do was trust his Sword art. The series of pings halted as Flint finished his turn, Elpharae appearing once again. Flint moved smoothly and without extra movement as the man closed the distance once again. The image of Flint's body seemed to hang in the air as he felt something brush his wrist, his Sword art forcing him to continue to move. Leaving what looked like an echo of his form behind that Elpharae grasped for a moment before it faded, Flint only a foot back from the form that Elpharae had just thought to have grasped. His eyes calm and his face passive as the lance point didn't waver from his side, the gleaming point still directed at Elpharae's face. Interested to see the look of amazement upon his face, perhaps he had expected something else to occur?

"I didn't expect you to be an assassin of sorts either, I will keep that in mind."

With that his body rippled with movement, the muscles in his back working as his lance point shot forward, aiming to drive right into Elpharae's face. His eyes still watching from over the edge of his shield guard position, calm and interested. The whispering form of his still seeming to echo, almost as if his movement remained drawn out in the air as he passed through it. The slight golden glow from his shield mixed with the trace of him moving, causing a rather beautiful effect, his bright eyes ever wary... curious.

Rue sat down with her ankles crossed as it seems that the next fighter will be a more defensive fighter. The boy seem to walk over and sitting near by. Looking at her he asked what he should do, and referred to her as miss. Rue let out a small smile at the boy. " Watch, and listen. Just because you passed does not mean your in the guild, as the guild leader has the final say. Also don't call me miss, just Rue is fine". Leaning back and using her hands as support she would relax more as is seems the duel was about to begin. Rue watched as Elpharae, used her invisibility and vaulted over the man. Using her sword art, she would thrust multiple times at the man. However just as she thought the other shield bearing man was a defensive player, as he activated his own art a golden aura covered the man. Elpharae's weakened strikes, would not do anything, it's down to if her status affect would work or not. " They should of saved their, sword arts for when they better knew their opponent. Now they both know what each of their arts are, making them less effective. Elpharae, still has the advantage as the be undetectable by the enemy is a huge advantage, Not to mention the higher levels as well. Elpharae, was lucky that he could not see her, as the attack would of being wide open to exploit". Rue eyes narrowed as Elpharae paused in front of her opponent and revealed himself. " Should be using this opportunity to attack, not play with your opponent". Rue sighed as the man broke from his paralysation and directed his spear at the small boy. He would not hit as she was faster then him. Looking at Tesh she would begin to explain the guild to him. " Don't worry were not going to have a written test on the guild or anything, but I guess I should tell you about the guild while these to play fight. The guilds name is Elysian as you already know. Right now where just focusing on gaining new members and training them to be strong fighters. Are future goals are to, protect the weak and clear floors. Are guild leader would say that, if we protect the weak they will eventually become strong, and help us later. While i'm not against helping people I do not agree with her ideals. If you protect the weak they will never get strong, and not everyone can be strong". Rue stopped herself as she was not doing a very good job of promoting the guild. " Never mind about my opinions, just know that we are here to help, and we won't put you in to much danger at the start". Rue turned back after her speech to see how the fight progressed.

Tesh took his seat next Rue after being told to. Tesh would now take everything that Rue had to say, especially in regards to telling him to do something, so when she told him to just watch and listen he made importance of it, watching and listening intently. He was slightly relieved though when he saw how Rue’s expression and mannerism become more relaxed, compared to during their fight when everything about her was just blank. He didn’t let this get to his head though, knowing that she was still going to be serious with him. He knew that at least for now he had a plus in regards to getting into the guild, even if Athena was the one to make the final call, if he could at least get a good word from Rue and hopefully Elpharae his chances would be much greater, but he also wanted to show them that he could be trusted and eventually would be a valuable addition to the group. Sitting there watching Flint and Elpharae’s Tesh noticed noticed something about the teal haired man. His face was familiar to him, but he wasn’t exactly knowledgeable of exactly where from. Possibly out in the fields? Or maybe in the forest when I was with the other group for awhile? I don’t remember ever partying up with him before, but I am certain that we have met. He thought to himself before coming back to the fight that was taking place. It was obvious that Elpharae wasn’t on the same level in strength as Rue, but he’s fast, and sneaky..remembering from the previous day when they met up at the dungeon. He knew that he was not a person that many would want to mess with, certainly not himself. It would be an entertaining fight for sure. Understanding what Rue was trying to explain he still felt happy to know that since he passed it was obvious that he was one of those people that had the capability to be strong and useful in battle, especially that coming from Rue. He was more than happy and excited to be apart of the guild, hopefully it would come true. “I get what you mean, don’t sweat it. I’m happy to be here and I want to get stronger I don’t want to have to be protected." Tesh said back to Rue before looking back at the duel focusing on the new challengers fighting style. “ So when do you think we will meet Athena? Luckily we have met once before...”

[Elpharae]

Elpharae ducked down narrowly, strands of his hair being cut off and a tiny red slash on his shoulder. His smile was still saccharine-sweet, expression perfectly polite and respectful. He made a turn around the teal-haired man, murmuring words before he disappeared again behind his back using Stealth, where Flint couldn't see him anyways. He used his Acrobatics skill to constantly keep moving midair, twisting and turning and vaulting with only short intervals in between. "Aren't you a hypocrite? Calling me an assassin and then killing me? And besides..." His voice was quiet and soft, warm, perhaps, said in a tone so low that only Flint could hear. "You shouldn't call people assassins, you know."

The point of his movement was so that Flint could listen to him but if he tried to strike, the brunet would be gone from that spot. "After all, you might hurt someone. And pain may not exist in this game, but..." He blinked at his opponent, using Detection to keep an eye on him even when they were back to back, his lips forming his next words. "There are many, many ways to hurt someone. Words just tick up to another. You should be ashamed. There's nothing worse than a decisive label on someone you just met." He then turned back, staring at the shield-wielding man. It seemed his sword art was built on defense alone, meaning that it would block all hits...for a select amount of time.

So he just had to wait until it wore off and then he could fight? Ah, well. Elpharae kept quiet. Not like there was much to do anyways. He had liked this player, but their sheer arrogance and ignorance ticked him off. And that sheer hypocrisy? Not like the man claimed like he was smart, though. It was too bad, he mused lightly, a small smile growing on his lips. Because he doubted Elysian wanted members that were too dense to think or twice as disrespectful.

Where's that respectful man I saw earlier? He asked silently in his head, dark eyes cold and detached. Maybe he should have thought about others when joining a guild that was built to help. A man like you would have no place in Elysian if you keep this up. Was it arrogance that gave you that stoic mask? That sheer cockiness that I despise, that preys on people like Athena occasionally? Is that you? Or are you different? Prove it to me.

He tapped the edgeless exterior of his rapier against his wrist. Let me tell you something. Tomorrow, it will be the eighth anniversary of my sister's death. Her name was Amaya, he added unnecessarily in his head. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I blame myself for her death, always thinking that I could do something. I am wrong. I can acknowledge that. But in my core, I cannot shift my beliefs. So if I am the cause for her death, perhaps I am an assassin. But to hear it from your ears, a man who knows nothing about my life or hers? I'm afraid I cannot accept that.

He glanced at the teal-haired man. Hopefully he had waited it out long enough. He shifted into an offensive position, attempting to make a deep strike at his thigh before thrusting at his eye unmercifully and hoping blankly for blood, his movements calculated and swift as he could make them. I wish I could see you tremble in fear, he murmured internally, and that your throat would purple as I closed one hand around it, bruising and you choking for air before I thrust into the hollows of your neck, watching as my blade and hands were stained by your blood. You don't seem like that type of man, though. But you could be. I apologize. Perhaps my emotions are clouding my judgement.

The green player then aimed to make a decisive cut on his stomach, his Detection dissipated as he tried to land a barrage of hits on Flint's back, then leaped back, trying to avoid unnecessary damage as he lingered on the edges of the circle, his hair now loose and his fingers quickly tied the loose purple ribbon that he used to tie his hair up in a bun around his wrist, eyes narrowing on his opponent. But I have never been so utterly filled by contempt to being given a name by someone.

His opponent disappeared yet again, leaving him in a seemingly empty circle, the crowd loud about him. Taking a deep breath and settling into his stance a little more, waiting for his opponent to make the next move. He thought he heard a voice nearby him, but the crowd overwhelmed whatever quiet words were being spoken to him. Cocking his head a touch to try to hear it better with no luck, the incomprehensible mummer moved about him, stopping behind him for a short bit and then stopped altogether.

"Is this supposed to be a fight? If it took only words to inspire this reaction then I apologize, perhaps you are not versed in conversation yet?"

It was odd really, Flint didn't know what to make of the situation, he could tell his opponent hadn't run away, and the duel hadn't ended. So why was the person taking time to try to have a conversation but wouldn't even speak up enough to be heard. Perhaps this was part of the fight? He had wished they had given him some criteria for what he was supposed to do. Was it just to beat his opponent, or was he supposed to lose gracefully... odd really, with Rue he would have understood what to do in such a fight, but with this opponent he was left just standing here.... the crowd quieting down now as well. As if everyone was just waiting for something to actually happen. Turning and looking to Rue where she was sitting, the kid standing next to her... wait did he know him, they had met hadn't they. Maybe when he was farming mobs or something along those line, but his gaze returned to Rue, waving a bit to get her attention.

"Can you switch with your guildmate? They don't seem to want to fight anymore, also what is the point of this fight?"

Mid wave with his spear his body moved, his shield snapping into a low guard position in front of his legs, a slight ping was all that could be heard. The glowing shield snapped up into a high guard obscuring his vision for a moment as he heard another familiar ping. Chuckling a touch, glad to have his opponent back and fighting.

"Never mind! She seems to have woken up again!"

With that his shield snapped to mid to low chest guard, a sliding noise could be heard across its front, even as he noticed the glow start to fade about its edges. A slicing attack from a rapier... there was a first time for everything he supposed. The Sword art faded as the glow about him dissipated, his forms echo fading as well. The strikes to his back landed in the stabbing manner he had expected from a rapier, watching his health bar finally tick down, dropping down a third from the slue of attacks. Sweeping his shield up and around himself, catching some of the last thrusts before the attack stopped and he dropped into his guard again. So... his wall was down, how to deal with an invisible opponent. Taking a deep breath he hit a macro key with a finger and his shield disappeared. Taking a grip on his lance with both hands, crouching down into a low stance(http://imgur.com/Ph5ejjN). Taking a deep breath he relaxed himself deliberately, making sure his form was proper. He had to wait to be attacked and then he would react from there, from this easy stance he could react to any direction in a heartbeat, the shield no longer weighing him down. The moment he was hit with an attack he will stab out in that direction twice, orient himself to where the attack came from and then wait again. In his mind though he had already narrowed it down, his opponent seemed to have it out for him for some reason. Attacking his back and eyes, he really was like an assassin, a good word for him. Taking another breath and then relaxing further, this was only going to start when his opponent made his move.

Rue looked to the older boy who kept going on about wanting to get stronger. After all this time he was still level one if he truly wished to be stronger he would of been by now, what is stopping him? AAs he focused on the fight he asked when he might meet Athena. Looking back on the fight Rue rested her head on the back of her hand as she watched the battle. " Well when were done here, I'll message her about you with a report on your skills and what you can offer to the guild. It will not be a glowing recommendation as you are a future investment". Her words were not encouraging, but a recommendation is still better then nothing. "By the way I did not get you name. Athena we will need to know who you are so we can contact you". The fight was one sided as the teal phalanx had not been able to land a hit on the invisible boy. The Teal Spearman turned to look at Rue, she looked at him with a bored expression. An eyebrow raised as he asked if she could switch with Elpharae. Unimpressed with the man's words she did not want to even answer him, as his cockiness is misplaced as he is the one who is losing. " Finish your fight, before looking for another". Elpharae would get more hits on the walking training dummy, retracting his statement he would go back to the fight. Rue watched as the man went into a low stance removing his shield and using his spear with both hands. " Good idea, even if he can't see the enemy maybe if he used wide sweeping attacks he might catch the attacker as the move away after a strike. He still can't hear or see them, and they could easily just use a rock or a throwing weapon to throw him off guard. He's in an open area which also does not favor him. If you could make it so he could see them or take away their senses as well then at least they would be on more even ground". Rue spoke calmly as she pointed out a few things for Tesh as she laid down on the boxes and watched the fight with slightly more interest. At the moment the spearmen would not get a recommendation of her part, and even if he won Rue did not like his obnoxious attitude.

Even though, after hearing Rue tell him that his recommendation wasn’t going to be ‘glowing’, which was something he had definitely not had expected since it has been awhile now and he has yet to reach level two, he still felt much better, and a lot of tension in his shoulders and neck released when he heard that he was going to be recommended. That was his goal after all...it wasn’t to become a star, or even win the fight, it was all about being able to show that he was capable of becoming much stronger so that he could get the chance to get into a group of people that would help him get stronger, ultimately so that he could also be of use to them later in the days to come. He wanted a group after all of people that he could trust and that could trust him. He has been striving to find this group ever since he came around to talking to other players, and now he was possibly in the best position now to have found that. “Oh...Sorry, I totally forgot...I’m Tesh…” Responding to Rue's question. Hearing what the familiar man said to Rue about his fight with Elpharae, Tesh was rather shocked. From the manner that Elpharae has been holding himself so far it is obvious that this would greatly offend him, and if his intentions were to join the guild, this course of behaviour was probably not the best way to go about it, even if his fighting style was not one that he was used to or not one that found honorable in the case of a duel. This was a test, if he wanted to get in the guild he had to pass it, even if it meant that he had to deal with a person and fighting style that he was not accepting of. But it seemed that he was able to pass over this feeling and behaviour, at least for now, after adapting to the situation by removing his shield and two-handing the spear. He agreed with what what Rue said about finishing his fight, which obviously meant that he needed to focus on his fight if had any slight chance of winning, her stealth skill was obviously at her advantage and if he was paying perfect attention to her he was bound to lose. Listening to the pointers about the duel that Rue was giving him he noticed her lack of interest in the fight, well at least a lack of interest in the male fighter, it was obvious that she was definitely not tired after her fight with him and that man before him, if you want to even call that a fight. While she lay there Tesh continued to watch the fight between the continue, hoping that the teal haired man had a chance to regain some respect in the eyes of the other two, it was obvious they didn’t like the way things were going after all.

[Elpharae]

Elpharae's eyes blinked coolly, his earlier fiery emotion switched out for something colder, more calculating, but by no means less intense. He blinked coolly before lowering his petite frame and casually selecting a sharp, cone-shaped rock, which was rather odd, really, but it was there, and he wasn't going to take a gift for granted. His dark eyes closed for a second as he tried to aim as accurately as possible, staring from his position behind the man. Hmpf. The rock could perhaps be taken for a rapier, and besides, he wasn't trying to hurt him with this weapon...unless he was? He focused his attention on the the man's back, and then threw the rock as hard as he could, then using his Acrobatics to vault to his front, where he hadn't attacked before, sweeping low to try to land a flurry of stabs near his ankle before quickly retreating a handful of paces, reassessing his plan.

He then moved as fast as he could to the man's right side, and then took a deep breath, testing the cobblestone underneath his feet. He then launched himself off the ground, performing a sort of unsteady flip over him, and when he was right above the man's head, he tried to stab him from the crown of his head using his copper rapier, and then realized that most of the momentum had been used in the attack, cursing silently as he made a semi-ungainly thump in the background. His eyes narrowed. Time to completely disappear. Or at least try. Making a fluid shrug that most people wouldn't be able to see (i.e. the teal-haired swordsman) he moved quickly away from his previous location, knowing that Flint would soon pinpoint the noise, if he hadn't already with a quick roll that made him wince at soiling his clothes, and then brushed it off easily.

That noise was a good distraction, at any rate. He paused before blinking at a series of tall pillar-like structures. That...was what Tesh had been on earlier, right? He tilted his head curiously, constantly on the move as to not give Flint any knowledge of where he stood, though his stamina was beginning to wane. Too tall for anyone without Acrobatics to get on...and he didn't think that Flint had that particular skill...unless he did. Still, each pillar had an area that was decisively one-person only...and so he blinked before jumping as high as he could, landing on one of the pillars. A taller one, as it turned out. His smile turned slightly more sharp.

His HUD flickered into existence as he sat, still on one of the pillars. He opened his inventory quickly, finally equipping the Beginner's armor that he possessed, and then let the material settle on his body, closing the menu with another flick of his wrist. So Flint knew where he was again? So be it. He let his Stealth disappear for a single moment as he landed down back into the chalk circle, and then disappeared in the span of a single second, smile playing on his lips. Now that ought to confuse Flint for a while...or at least make him hesitate. There was a lot of thought that went into his movements, after all-maybe too much. Oh, well. No point in just giving everything away, right? A small smile grew on his lips.

Of course, it was because of his earlier movements. Flint had no way of telling whether he would go left, or right, or behind him. Behind him seemed the most likely, because of the way he fought...but then that would almost be too predictable, right? But if it was too predictable, then Flint would avoid it, which meant that Elpharae could be attacking from there. And the other choices were likely...and he could always fight from midair, couldn't he? Oh, well. He approached Flint from the teal-haired man's side, and then tried to stab him in his neck, withdrawing as quickly as he could while still attacking that spot with one hand, and then, with his other, he tried to tug the spear away from the man while he was distracted and throw it outside of the circle, and then withdrew warily, not trying to get hit as he circled his opponent, calculating...

After Rue had gotten his name and talked to him about the fight, and what the two might do to counter each other. As she laid on the raised stone with her hand supporting her head as she watched the duel. As much as she did not want to watch this fight, Elpharae sat on the sidelines as she fought Tesh and that other man. It was only fair to do the same for him. Opening a message window, the recommendation started to type out of Tesh as she relaxed and watched the fight as if she were a important Roman figure partaking in a gladiatorial bout. Guildmaster Athena This message will serve as a recommendation for me to a player known as Tesh. He is not the most skillful fighter and he is not a high level, but i believe he has great potential. I tested his skill and resolve personally. In the face of impossible odds and no chance of victory, he did not falter or give up. He fought to the end as best he could. He has a mix of bravery and stupidity that would make him a great member who would be the very essence of what the guild values with a bit of training. For your consideration Rue The window closed and was sent off to Athena. Looking at Tesh and speaking nonchalantly about something he found very important to him. " The recommendation has been sent, you should hear from Athena shortly". Rue looked back to the fight after she spoke to Tesh. Elpharae was putting out a lot of effort for an audience who could not see what he was doing. Watching as he threw a rock to trick the man into thinking he was attacking him. He moved to the man's side and clumsy flipped over the man. He must of not been very confident in the attack as he reframed from stabbing at the man. Must of not had enough time to stab before gravity would bring him back to the earth. Rolling to avoid a possible incoming attack from the sound he made from landing. Rolling and dirtying his dress, Rue could only imagine how much that upset the dress fiend. Rue started to forget if she was watching a duel or a performance. Rue watch as Elpharae jumped atop one of the pillars that surround the town square. Would this count as a ring out? Rue did not implemented any rules against leaving the chalk circle. Rue kept her focus on the duel as the teal haired man held his ground waiting for the slightest sound to give the stealthy "assassin" away. Elpharae changed into more suitable clothes, Rue's eyes flicker as she waited for the playful boy to take the fight more seriously. Elpharae would jump down and move towards the man and stab him in the neck twice. Trying to disarm the man, and jumping back as the spearman reacted to Elpharae's attacks. The invisible boy would circle and sting at the man like a bee. Rue sighed as she had to acknowledge the spearman's endurance.Not being able to locate the enemy and being slower than the his opponent.the fight was already over before it started. Sitting up and lifting herself off of the stone wall. Rue walked towards the crowd, and looked around for any other players who might want to join. Sifting through the crowd, every time she looked at a player the would look away or pretend that she was not there. A small huff escaped from the small girl. These people were only here to watch the fight, and laugh at the idiots that tried to fight the ice princess. Pushing her way out of the crowd, Rue came back over to where Tesh was and sat back down.

(OOC: Sorry I know it's short, didn;t want to talk about the same thing over again that Rue just did lol) Continuing to sit down at the sidelines of the white circle watching Flint and Elpharae battle Tesh notices Rue continuing to lay down with a rather uninterested look on her face. Looking back over at Elpharae he noticed something in particular about him has changed, it was just his eyes or his behaviorisms--the way that he w positioned himself in the fight--but all around his presence had changed, he was like a completely different person. Before, he had the appearance and talked moreover in a way that was somewhat more bubbly in the sense that he wanted to have fun and mess around with his opponent in a somewhat sarcastic way, but now he has an aura of something...more dark...vengeance possibly? Flint did seem to strike a nerve with his first initial comment about calling him an assassin, and then on top of it, it’s bound to have infuriated him when he acted like he wasn’t actually fighting him. His presence was void-like...dark and cold...it was something that could a person goosebumps. Looking back over at Rue he noticed that she was typing something up in a message to send to someone, hoping it was something revolving around the guild and him, and sure enough it was. She looked at him and told him that she sent a recommendation to Athena and that he would receive word on an invitation shortly. Even if she sounded like she didn’t care one way or another this made Tesh thoroughly happy. He kicked his feet out a bit, crossing his arm, leaning back slightly, Tesh continued to watch the fight go on. Sure enough it was not exactly going to well for Flint, by the looks of it the fight would be over shortly. Elpharae, with his stealth and acrobatics, was too much for flint, the only thing that he had going for him was his massive defense, even though it was his only real option to put away his shield, it would also be his death sentence. She was way too quick for him to block a shot with just his spear alone, let alone hit her with an attack. Tesh was curious to see how she was going to finish him off. Tesh continued to sit back relaxing and watching the fight proceed.

[Elpharae]

Elpharae bit his lip, assessing. He wanted this over, suddenly, quietly, quickly, and efficiently. His emotions reigned him, and he found himself at odds with himself, emotions constantly fluctuating. His copper rapier would have gleamed in the low light if he didn't have stealth, and then sighed. Jyun it was, then. He blinked slowly and then threw his arm into the air, twisting his wrist in a fluid motion and then locking his rapier into an offensive position, narrowing his eyes slightly before lunging.

He drove his blade into the other's elbow, exhaling slowly as he pulled out his blade, leaping away in caution before noticing that he had successfully paralyzed the teal-haired man. Smiling in slight satisfaction, the brunet leaned closer and tugged his opponent's weapon away, throwing it on the ground while his other hand took his copper rapier and attempted to drive it into the other repeatedly, offering a quietly wry smile before continuing on with his task.

The other green player's health should be down, really, near empty by now, and Elpharae sighs before stabbing him in the eye, a move that he's been dying to try. His health finally, finally drops to a decent degree in which the game deems it low enough to consider it a win, and the brunet then flickers back into existence, sheathing his rapier with a quiet click. It's fine, really, and all his anger has seeped out of him, instead leaving something else, quiet and contained, and ice-cold, chilling his insides.

"It was a good fight," He compliments Flint, offering him a hand to help him up, opening his HUD to get out of his armor and instead wear his kimono-like garb, barefoot legs rubbing against the cobblestone. His dark eyes close momentarily as he blinks again, and Elpharae smiles politely. You just weren't good enough. Maybe he's being petty, but then he remembers the "assassin" comment, the frustration at not being able to land a hit, and then internally frowns. No, not petty. This is actually rather adequate.

He tosses his head like a high-strung horse afterwards and nods again before heading towards Rue, giving her a slight blink before seating himself beside her, smiling a little at Tesh as he calms. Flint should join them, actually, he muses, even as he tells Rue he'll send a message to Athena about Flint joining, opening up his messages as his wrist flicks, calling over to alert Flint that he'll be telling Athena, their guild master, that Flint wants to join. He focuses on typing out his message, choosing his words carefully. He wasn't going to show his bias against the man in his words, after all. At least...not blatantly.

Rue looked down at Tesh as he kicked his feet out and happily watched the Fight. A small smile popped up from her face as she found his excitement misplaced as he was not assuredly in the guild. Turning her face back to her stoic blank expression. Rue watched the final moments of this doomed fight. Even if it were a more straight forward fight the teal haired man would've lost anyway. Anything two levels higher than you is impossible to defeat alone. Rue watched as the angered Elpharae, readied himself and lunged forward. He may of looked reserved and focused, but he being lead on by his dislike of the man. Hitting the spearman's elbow the blow paralyzed him. He was lucky that his inaccurate attack had stopped the man, because Elpharae would of been wide open. He smiled in satisfaction, the small boy let his emotions guide him as he would disarm the immobile man. Rue's eyes narrowed at the sight that she was beholding. In a real fight this would not bother her, but this was a duel representing a guild which upholds a chivalrous code of ethics. Attacking an unarmed man and taken pleasure in it was not good for the guilds image. Elpharae as flint's health dropped down to as far as would go, Elpharae had enough control to sheath his blade and calm down. Complimenting her defeated foe and offering a hand to him. Tossing his hair aside pompously as he walked but to Rue and the others. Elpharae blinked at Rue who offered no action in response, as he seated himself. The kimono clad boy suggests that flint should join them. Looking at calmed bloodlusted boy. " From what i saw, i don't think he should become a member. Send a message to Athena if you would like, but i'll be sending a counter to his approval". Standing back up, Rue kept her blank expression and voice towards Elpharae. " Also you, went too far in your last duel. Athena wants us to be role models for the player base. Attacking and taking enjoyment in hurting a unarmed opponent is the opposite of what the guild is supposed to represent. I'll will be handling the rest of the duels, and messages". Turning away from the boy, Rue headed for the middle of the circle and waited of another challenger.

Elpharae went invisible again, and without the detection skill even for Tesh, who had his eyes are him before the fight even started, was unable to see what it was that she was doing. It was interesting to Tesh to see just how effective having the stealth talent can be when fighting against a person who lacks the detection talent. Investing a talent point into detection would probably be the best way to go for Tesh on his next chance he gets, even though some of the other talents looked more interesting to him, it was most likely need for him to have it just in case the worst happens when he is outside of a town or city and someone tries to kill him or hurt him. After all, even though Tesh hasn't met anyone yet who seemed like they wanted to kill random innocent players, he was sure that there were some people out there who would do such a thing, especially if they had something against him for some reason. Watching the fight continue on, or rather watching Flint fight the invisible opponent Elpharae, Flint also appeared to have not a clue where he was wither or what he was doing. What appeared, from the reaction of Flint, was that he got stabbed in the elbow, and by doing this he become paralyzed, toppling over onto the ground unable to respond. Still in stealth mode, Elpharae must have been attacking him while he was paralyzed, as he watched his health continue to drop down further and further. Tesh thought to himself, I understand if this is how her sword art works then naturally she would want to finish him of when he is in this state, but to continue while stealthier makes him look a little too much like the assassin that he obviously hated being called so much; after all, all he had to do was go unsheathed before finishing him off and it wouldn't look so bad, but since he finished him off in this manner it really did make him look like an assassin, which Tesh didn't think was a bad thing, but either way he was not going to say any of this to Elpharae after seeing that expression and reaction that he gave to Flint earlier when he said that to him. Tesh meant to no harm of course, just pointing out what he saw and thought, but the last thing he wanted to do was to upset Elpharae right after getting Rue's recommendation to the guild. As the fight finished up and Elpharae came back over to where Rue and himself were sitting, Rue told Elpharae that she didn't want him in the guild and would send a message to Athena to explaining her thinking if Elpharae sent a message regarding Flint's interest in joining. Tesh wasn't going to get caught up in the middle of all this either way because he didn’t exactly care for the matter since he couldn't exactly recall who the player was anyways. After they settled their business, he watched Flint walk back off and out into the crowd as Rue stepped back out into the circle waiting for any others who would be interested in joining, but it didn’t exactly seem like most of the people, if any, who came out here were interested, but rather wanted to just watch a fight. Continuing to sit back in his seat as Elpharae also sits down next to him too, looking over at Tesh and smiling, it was apparent that he was starting to settle down a bit and lose that cold appearance that he had before. Without wanting to get him fired up again, all Tesh does his nod at him with a little smile on his face as well and then take his attention back to Rue who was standing the middle of circle looking rather uninterested and bored in the fact that no one has come up to challenge her yet.
