After getting acquainted with the second floor. The small girl felt it was time for a change of scenery. Rue check the so called tower at the edge of the floor to find that it was indeed completely sealed. The tower pierced the sky and the sleek black wall slid all the way down to the ground. Rue could find no invisible wall with her detection nor was the walls breakable, as the purple aura would stop the girl as she would take to force her way in. Rue heard some people talk of a mysterious rock formation near by. From the people she asked they would say it looked like some kind of door way or gate. Rue ran her hand through her light blue hair. Her face was no longer obscured by her bangs, as she kept them braided with a yellow ribbon. Making her way to the rocky gate. Rue kept her focus on the area surrounding her. It was rocky with bits of vegetation, and many small caves and holes were formed around the small cavern. The sounds of hard points skittering around poked at the small tanks ears as she walked. Spiders were a common foe around these parts. They liked to stick to the natural caves the formed all around the rocky formations. Rue turned to see the glowing beady eyes of spiders looking at the girl with hunger. At the current time of day they would not leave their caves to greet the sun. Even if they weren't fond of the sun they could leave for a moment to try and drag the girl with them back into their nest. Rue kept her guard up around the spiders as she would occasionally dodge a string of web as the spiders were trying to fish the girl in. Making through the dangerous roads that would only get more dangerous as the sun waned. Rue decided to make her inspections short of the so called gate. The spiders were infinite and the small girl was not. Getting trapped and eaten by spiders was not a way she would like to go. Approaching the stone structure. It was clear that it was not natural. It looked to be the same material as the tower and looked like an outline of a gate or door. Rue moved in closer and felt around the structure for any kind of switch or buttons. The gate's material gleamed for the sun. It's black surface looked as if it absorbed the light. Feeling around the smooth black rock it felt slippery almost as if it were obsidian. Rue could feel missing parts in the bottom of the base of the gate. The gate looked to well kept to simply be broken down by age, these must be needed for the gate to work. Standing up and stretching at he discovery. Even if she did find the missing parts, there was no telling where the gate would put the user. It's just a guess that the gate would teleport the user into the dungeon, and it was not unbelievable as the gate and the tower were made of similar material. Rue knew that she needed parts to get the gate up and running again, but she did not know where to start or what the parts even looked like.

With a personal view of the tower and gate. Rue figure out that she would not two items to get the so called get working. However she did not know what the items looked like, nor where they were. She could surmise that they were made of the same material as the tower and gate. Her gamer instincts were telling her that the items were in the spider's nest. Rue came her to get a personal opinion of the tower and gate, a scouting mission not infiltration. With the information gathering completed, she would go back to town and ask about the missing items to the towns folk, and post a party request on the board no sense going into the caves alone. Walking through the canyon, once again the spiders skittered and leered at the small girl staying out of the sun's influence as they shot webbing in attempts to gain a small snack. Dodging their second attempt at turning the lith girl into food, she felt as if they stared at the girl in fury. Porting back to the port town she gathered herself, and made her way to the town square. The amount of players in town in the middle of the day were were almost nonexistent. Writing down her request for assistance on a paper with a pen, that she bought on the way to the job board. Putting the finishing touches on her note she would nail it to the board, and leave to ask the npcs about the missing items. Need Assistance Exploring Caves Near The Dungeon Entrance To any of those who she this note, i am currently seeking a party to explore the spider caves near the tower and gate with no entrance. While i examined, the tower and gate like structure. I discovered that there appeared to be two items missing from the gate. i believe that the items powered the gate which leads into the dungeon. I am looking for able players to assist in the recover of the items. if you are interested please message me, by messaging me. Thank You For Your Time: Rue While she waited to see if she would get a response to her request, Rue would walk around town and asked about the missing items. Going from store to store and asking npcs that she passed by about the items to power the gate. Most of the npcs she asked said they have never been out of the town or near the area she spoke of as it was filled with monster and other dangers. Rue huffs as the npcs were no help at all, bringing up her message box she checks to see if she has gotten a response.

(( OOC: Activates Gate )) Rue sighed as her message box showed no new messages. Sitting down and taking a break, she rocked her head loosening the neck muscles. With no leads, and no assistants Rue was left with no choice, but to go in blind in search of the missing parts. Rue did not like it, but it's better then sitting around and doing nothing and waiting for someone to save them or find the parts. Kicking her feet and pouting about her current situation. From outside of her vision she heard a young voice speak to her. " Miss Rue, it's good to see you again". Rue felt a tight grip at her side as a young npc boy hugged her. Looking down and trying to get the boy off of her, she would recognize him as one of the npcs that she helped feed with Athena. Pulling the boy off of himself, she looked at him with a blank look and tone. " Stop doing that". "but", the boys face soured and sniffed as he looked dejected by the young girl. " Me and my brother are grateful for what you and Miss Athena did, I just want to show my appreciation to the both of you". Rue's expression did not change as she sat him down near her. Pausing to think, looking at the boy who probably be as little use as the other npcs. " Do you know anything about the gate and the tower at the edge of the floor"? The boy looked at her like she was slow. " Of course the old man told us a story about the black gate, you have never heard of it before"? Shaking her head in response. Even if it's just a story, all stories originate from some truths. The boy clears his throat as he prepares his voice to tell a the story. " The black spire, is lock away by a black eye. The eye peers into the spire with it's crystal gaze. Only when it's crystal gaze is graced by the star of light will it show the way for all to see". The boy looks at Rue with a confident gaze. " So did you like the story, cool isn't it"? Think about the story, maybe the eye is the gate and it's crystal gaze are the missing pieces. Smiling at the boy and patting his head, Rue gave him some col. " Thank you that was a great story". The boy smiled and ran off with a bounce to his step. Rue expressing went back to being blank as the boy left. She would be sure to never tell Athena that, her plan actually may have worked.

Dan was wandering around Port Noir, trying to find out about the tower that would lead to the third floor. He had heard rumors that it was sealed up and he wanted to take a look at it for himself. However all his efforts had been thwarted by his low level. While he was permitted to travel from floor to floor, other players would refuse to give him any details on the tower once they heard his level. As such he began trying to find out where it was from the NPCs. As usual though they were about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Dan was about to give up hope when he saw the job board.

A hand-written note had been nailed there with what was assumedly the player's IGN. He decided to send them a message to see if they were still interested in help rather than just sending them a party request right out of the blue. "Hey there! Saw you note on the job board and was interested. Just need to know where the tower and gate are so I can meet you there. : )" Checking over it to see if there were any spelling mistakes he quickly tapped the send button and waited patiently for a reply.

Sitting on the bench thing about searching the surrounding caves around for the missing parts of the gate that most likely lead into the tower. Rue was not entirely sure that the gate lead into the tower, all she had to go on was an uneducated guess and a folk story from some elderly npc. Pondering on if it was really worth her time and effort to go off on an adventure on a gut feeling. It's not like she had anything else to do, but every trip outside is a chance she took that one day made call in to claim her life. She was not afraid to face the monsters, and the world of sword art to escape her prison but death still is a frightening thought to the small girl. As she went back and forth with her thoughts a message popped up in her inbox. Blinking and opening the message that was sent to her. The window of text pop into her cone of vision as she read the contents. I was a rather simplistic message as it started with a "hey there". Her eyebrow raised at the man's message.. By his writing. He wanted to know where the tower and gate was, and wanted to meet there with a smiley face. Not thinking too much into it Rue would not turn down help when she asked for it sent a message back. To Pureblade The tower is at the north edge of the map, while the gate is east of the tower and through a cavern filled with spider nest. We will meet up at the tower and go from there. Rue Sending her message and standing back up, Rue started to make her way back to the tower. She's confident that this player was high enough level to make it there by themselves as the seemed confident in their ability.

Dan was busy trying to stay patient. That was difficult as he was never a patient person. Thankfully his patience was soon rewarded with a little jingle indicating he'd received a message. After reading the message he set out for the tower. He was slightly worried about some of the stronger monsters. The Timber Wolves he could handle but anything else would be too strong. However, he figured his agility was high enough that he could outrun anything that was too strong for him. On his way to the tower, he encountered many creatures, though he was able to avoid aggroing them and those he did, he simply ran. He soon arrived at the tower and seeing that he was the first one there simply waited, again testing his patience but he'd wait if it meant that he'd be able to find the dungeon.

Porting to the closes area to the edge of the second floor. Rue began to make her way through the rocky terrain, avoiding as much of the monster as she could not wanting to be delayed by fighting unless she had to. Cutting through a few monsters on her way to the tower. Rue wonder what this player known as pureblade would be like? Giving their message they would most likely be a bubbly persona with a extreme lack of control or consecration. Rue thoughts form the player known as pureblade into a childish person who would be more of hindrance then a help. Reaching the tower she caught sight of a boy. He was average height with average hair and eye colour, he had average facial and body type. This boy was all around an average high schooler. His gear was still beginninger which worried the small girl. As she was unable to see his level, he could of just had poor luck with the drops. Walking up to him and waving see would approach him to see if he was indeed the player she had talked to, by his appearance it was most likely the case. Standing in front of him and look at him with a blank expression and spoke him a calm voice. " Excuse me I was suppose to meet a player by the name of Pureblade where. Would you perhaps be him, or have you seen another player around here"?

Dan noticed another player approaching and waved at her. She seemed to have some stronger gear and he mentally frowned as the thought crossed his mind, hoping she wouldn't dismiss him instantly. He smiled and scratched the back of his head. "Well I haven't seen anyone, and my IGN is Pureblade so it must be me." He chuckled briefly. "You can call me Pure if you like." He held out a hand to for her to shake. "What's your name.

Rue's eyes narrowed at the boy's response. It seems her idea of the player was right on the money. Rue held in her sighs and disinterest in the boy as she softly shook the boy's hand and spoke. " I am Rue, the one who posted the request and the message to you". Stepping back from him and letting go of his hand. " You are already awhere that we are going to be exploring the caves around the gate and tower, of the possible missing parts to the gate. You arrived here before me, did you have time to examine the tower, if so what are your thought"? Rue found it pointless to ask, but maybe he saw something that she did not. Another perspective is always useful when trying to solve a mystery. After he finished his explanation Rue would nod, and continue her questioning. " Before we continue, i would like to know your level and talents and arts. It will get dangerous, and we will be going into the spider's nest. I will not be able to look after someone who cannot defend themselves".

Dan shook his head. "I haven't checked out the tower yet, but it looks like everyone else has described it. I was actually here to see if anything shows up with the mapping talent." As he spoke he was tapping through his menus to find the right skill. Once found he activated it and looked at the map. The boy frowned as it appeared that there was nothing out ordinary with the tower. Nothing that he could see anyways. "Hmm, it all looks normal, sadly." Again Dan scratched the back of his head and grinned nervously. "Actually I was sort of just here to check out the tower. I know I have no chance against anything in these caves. Most I can handle right now are the Timber Wolves and even then only one at a time." He frowned slightly, feeling sort of guilty. "I'm sorry, I've wasted your time and I don't even have any items to compensate you for coming out here." He kicked at the dirt slightly, embarrassed.

Rue's brow furrows at the mention of his mapping skill. Watching him intently as she activates his skill, perhaps the skill could add extra input to the tower with no current entrance. Rue's detection picked up to small waves caress the area around them. A ping sounded off like echo locations. Crossing her arms and waiting impatiently of the results as she looked at Pure with a curious expression. Once again disappointment faced her as the boy frowned and said that nothing was out of place. Stating that he was here to check out the tower, even though her post was for to explore the caves around the tower and gate. Rue stared at the fool, as he scratched the back of his head... ( He going to go bald there if he keeps it up ). Letting out a deep sigh at the boy as she looked away from him as he apologized. Rue did not want compensation or an apologies she wanted results and for the dungeon to open up. Longer there stuck in this game, the less and less players there will be. At the rate they are going they won't make it to the twenty second floor. Calming down as she relaxed and hide her anger from the boy, turning around she would speak to him with continued patients. " The post I put on the board, clearly stated that I was looking for assistance to explore the caves around here. However your mistake will not compromise the venture, as I will go alone". Looking at him with a clear goals for him, her amber eyes sunk into him. " In your message, you said that you wanted to see the gate as well. That means your job is only half done, I will escort you to the gate and back. Provided that you share with me your findings". Holding out her open hand at the air headed boy, with a blank look. " Do we have an agreement"?

Dan chuckled nervously. Looking into her eyes he felt that she wouldn't take no for an answer, and he felt he owed her that much. So he took her hand and shook it firmly, before pulling back and saying, "Whatever you need me to do, I'll do it. You say 'jump' I say 'how high' and all that." Hopefully this would get him on her good side as it seemed that he got on everyone's bad side.

The boy chuckled nervously as he looked at her. ( Am i really that off putting, I don't try to be. I know I've been told that I am a bit cold when I am like this. I just want to be focused and ready when I am facing the dangers of this game, after all failure is death in her). The firm handshake from Pure throw her out of her train of thought, as he shook her hand like he was trying to crush it. Letting go of her hand and pulling himself slightly back, Rue brought her hand back and away from the iron grasp of the boy. He would tell the small girl that he would do as she commanded. That was not anything special to the little tank as what she wanted him to do what he could not do, and what she would not allow. Sighing at the boy as she walked by him. " Just stay close and don't ran off, with have to pass a very dangerous area for you". Moving to the east the group of the escort and Rue walked through the mismatched mildly forested area. The ground was a mix of moss, rock and grass as the ground level would change making walking much more difficult. The plant life was sparse and grow out in many different angles as they tried to reach out to the sun. " Watch your step, there are many holes in the ground made by the spiders that have taken residence here". After her words of cautions, Rue moved down the rocky path and faced a carves that lead to the gate. A straight path lead through the naturally carved stone. Many different sizes of holes, covered the rocky walls. Looking up at the sky, the sun still graced the blue sky warding off the spiders with its gaze. " Stick close, and watch out of the spiders webs. They will not leave their cave so long as the sun is shining on the path". Looking over to Pure to make sure he is ready. Turning back to the path, Rue moved forward at a quick pace. The tapping of legs echoed around the path as they moved forward. Eyes glared out of the holes and caves, watching their prey. They hissed as venom dripped from their fangs. White silky string shot out of the caves trying to attach themselves to the players and drag them in. Pulling Pure closers to herself as a string shot past where was. " Watch out, if the webbing hits you you're going to be dragged inside". They had a few more close calls as the made their way out of the path, and to the gate's location. Rue approached the door frame like structure. The empty half circle rested on a slab of stone as it's foundation. The gate was the same blackish glass like material that the tower was made out of. Moving to the back of the gate, Rue kneeled down and pointed at the missing parts in the structure. " When I examined the gate I found there seemed to be two missing parts to the gate. Asking around apparently there is a story shared by the npcs of the town that relates to this gate". Standing up and facing him, Rue cleared her throat. Only when it's crystal gaze is graced by the star of light will it show the way for all to see".Finishing the story, Rue would look at him as if she was waiting for him to start looking around the area with his mapping skill.

Dan followed Rue close as she lead him to the Gate. He watched the caves closely, wary of the eyes that gleamed in the darkness. He was grateful that she saved him from the spider's web. He was more careful now that he knew what to look for. He dodged their webs the rest of the way. When they finally reached the gate he stood and looked at it. It was just as impressive as the tower. He began examining the Gate. Like she said the gate seemed to be missing two pieces. He found the story of the NPCs to be interesting however he didn't believe that the story was necessary. It just seemed misleading to him. If it were a part of the dungeon there'd be more of a clue as to where to find the pieces, rather than just a vague clue as this was what needs to be done. He told Rue his concerns before he tried to use his mapping.
