Keith was about to take off towards the Little Nepenthes, but the older looking player of the party held him back a bit. He told the snowy-haired player to stay back because of the how much damage he sustained over the course of his previous battle. He clenched the hilt of his weapon as hard as he could, but Kaito was right, if Keith were to die here as a level one player, he would have wasted his time for nothing. He would slowly step back, standing behind Tesh and placed his hand on Tesh’s shoulder, “I am not quite a fighter myself, but you should be careful. I will be back here, watching the rear and will be waiting for you guys to finish this battle.” He would say, before patting him on the back and stood in a defensive position awaiting for anything to happen to any of them. The snowy-haired player took a deep breath, before realizing that he could activate the Burst Mastery he had since his health was below the green area.
The snowy-haired player grins forward at the Little Nepenthes and made sure to have a strong grip on the hilt of his blade. Before he could launch himself towards the Little Nepenthes, one of them began sending one of their vines towards Kaito, but it seems like he was able to deflect the attack. Tch.. Why am I trying to fight all these fights? There are people that are way stronger than I am… He loosens his grip and took a look ahead of the party and made sure that there was nothing that was going to enter the vicinity and surprise them. There was no way he could take on these Little Nepenthes with the health he has, so he let the other players in his party to do the fighting. There was also a sense of someone watching them, but it was more of an itch than anything. Keith took a look behind the group to see if anyone was watching them, but he shook his head and turned his attention back to the group.
Keith slowly sheathes his weapon and watches as the three of them began to engage the Little Nepenthes. The creatures began sending their tentacles at two of the players already, causing Keith to react, but he stood there, clenching his fist as hard as he could. No… I can not be the reason that they get killed. I-I just have to switch with them if they need me to, but I just have to watch them. He watches as Kaito and Angelo deflecting their attack, he was mesmerized on how skillful Angelo was, it was as if he was watching one of those action-hero shows he saw when he was a child.
The snowy-haired player’s attention was then drawn to the curved blade of Angelo, it began to turn red as if it was as hot as the sun. Keith would unsheathe his sword and took a look at the blade of his weapon and placed his palm over the blade. “Maybe.. My sword can be as cold as liquid nitrogen...” He would whisper tom himself, as he grips the hilt of his weapon and let out a grin. As he turn his attention back to Angelo, he would see him hitting the Little Nepenthes at such a quick pace that blew his mind. Was there someone who enjoyed the rush of speed like he did, but he shook his head in disagreement. His obsession with speed was not something many people particularly like and he would slowly loosen his grip once again. The snowy-haired player suddenly heard a sound of something bursting and he saw that Angelo was being showered with the polygons of the Little Nepenthes he just slayed.
Keith decided that this time he was not going to attack the Little Nepenthes at all and sheathes his weapon once again. There was no point in stealing another player’s kill if they were all in a party and since he was quite a low level player, there was no way he could steal a kill from Angelo or Kaito. He still had a feeling someone was watching them, but there was no way there would be another person.. would there? There was no way he would be able to find out, unless they were hiding behind a tree not that far from them, but in this battlefield, they were quite distant apart from any trees that were behind them.
