Effect: Deals heavy damage to a single target in a lightning fast flurry of 3 strikes; also inflicting a slight chance bleeding effect. (3 hits - 125%, 125%, 125% - 30% chance of bleeding damage for 3 rounds)
Trigger: Akashi extends his arm and holds his weapon behind him with the dagger itself being held backwards. The sword art is activated once the dagger is slashed around in an arc in front of him.
Description: Akashi holds the dagger firmly in his hand from his trigger position as it begins glowing a bright red. He then rushes forward and slashes the dagger out to the right in a wide arc before turning the rest of his body in a circle using the momentum from this first strike. Once he has quickly finished this rotation, he keeps up the momentum by slashing again at the same or a slightly different angle. Akashi once again never loses his acceleration by rotating his body around a 2nd time, this time while bending his knees, lowering his body closer to the ground, and pulling the dagger closer to his body. Once he is facing his opponent again, he finishes it off with a blade thrust directly into his target. Once he pulls his blade away from the thrust, he leaps back a few meters.
[Personality]
Akashi is a kind hearted person with a good sense of morals, although it is very easy for him to become angry and hostile. Normally, when he is in a good mood, Akashi is very kind and light hearted while still maintaining a bit of seriousness. He can get into a bit of mischief but it is very rare for him to do anything blatantly idiotic. He can come across as a bit bland when you first meet him, but once you get to know him you will most likely find him an interesting and slightly quirky person. When he is angry you might mistake him for an entirely different person, as he can become a sarcastic smart-ass and always solves a problem violently. He is always willing to help his friends above all else, including his own well being. Nothing is too much of a challenge for Akashi, at least in his mind. He will always try to surpass an opponent that he deems stronger than him, even if it takes him months or years. Akashi is also rather charismatic and can usually talk his way out of many situations if he really felt like it, but when he is angry he will usually take the more violent route to solving a problem. In combat, Akashi is very calm and calculating and always approaches every situation in the most logically sound way possible...typically thinking pretty hard about what his next move should be in any given situation. Taking orders isn't something that Akashi really has much of a problem with as long as he perceives the orders as just or making sense to him, if they do not, then Akashi will most likely disregard them taking his own route to solve the problem.
[Biography]
The life of Akashi Numata is one of melancholy and hardship due to born into a very poor family who had to spend many long hours working simply to be able to stay in a home and eat dinner at night. Growing up, Akashi was bullied a lot at his school because of how poor he was, also maintaining bad grades and hardly any friends. Overall, his life in elementary to middle school was not great but one day soon after he started High School, he became good friends with a wealthy boy by the name of Ibara. Ibara was an extremely kind person who enjoyed spending time with Akashi and hung out all the time after school and on weekends. Akashi could not afford to do much outside of school, but Ibara would pay for him when they went out to the movies or to eat at a restaurant or anything of that sort. Ibara was an avid gamer as well, so when Akashi went to spend time with Ibara at his house, Ibara would let him play with his gaming consoles there. Akashi instantly fell in love with games and gaming through these experiences, but he could not afford to purchase any consoles for himself, so the only time he ever got the chance to play them was when he was with his friend.
Regardless, a few months later when the nerve gear was beginning to be advertised, Akashi desperately wanted to obtain it. It would be a way for him to escape into a virtual world where he could forget about all of his troubles in the real world. He told his parents about it and they would obviously tell him that it was impossible to purchase for them, but Akashi didn't give up. He continued to pester his parents about it until they finally realized how much Akashi wanted this device. Because it had been a long time since they had seen Akashi be happy when he wasn't with Ibara, they wanted to get him the nerve gear so that he would smile again around them. They worked extra hard and began setting money aside for the nerve gear, until the day had finally come for the machine to be released. When this happened, Akashi's parents had managed to scrape up just enough money to purchase it.
Gleaming with Joy, Akashi camped out outside of the packed stores with his money before they opened so that he would be one of the lucky few to get their hands on one of the devices. With luck on his side, he had managed to push through the crowds when the doors finally opened and purchase a nervegear for himself, along with a copy of the only game out for the machine, Sword Art Online. When he had arrived home, the first thing he did was plug up the nerve gear and lied back on his bed, ready to be immersed into this virtual world. He signed in and made his character; One that wielded a dagger, which seemed appropriate, since he had been in a couple of knife fights before in the real world. Once he was in the actual online world though, he felt a sense of freedom that he had never experienced before, a feeling that surpassed his time with Ibara. This feeling was on par of being able to start a new life where he could be anyone that he wanted to be, making him feel like a whole new person. He never wanted to leave that world, and he got that wish with the announcement of the game's creator...Once he found out that he was trapped in the game for the foreseeable future or possibly forever, He didn't react like most people around him did and felt somewhat happy that he didn't have to go back to his old self. But at the same time, he remembered Ibara...sure that Ibara did not buy a nerve gear on launch day. While Akashi took to the idea of staying in Sword Art Online forever, he knew that he had to get out if he ever wanted to see his friend again. So with that, his journey began.
