Availability: 2 more slots aside from myself and Kyo. Note: Immediately following the boss-fight, Relsialle takes a moment to perhaps celebrate and process what she has just witnessed. Relsialle slipped into the bar quietly, the small lake-side establishment just what she needed after the long fight with Illfang. Her nerves were frazzled for the most part, the fight being a rollercoaster of emotion even more so since they had lost two of their own and Kayaba himself appeared to gloat about their predicament. The woman sighed as her boots rapped slightly on the weather beaten wood, worn well from the years of patrons shuffling across it with the lake water still dripping off of their leather fishing boots. The place was somewhat calm with the NPC’s mostly keeping to themselves, the players not quite making it this far yet despite the recent news of the floor’s opening shooting across the player base like a bolt of lightning. The place reminded her of the country sea-side pubs of her native Ireland, the smell of fish and dark beer filling her lungs and her heart with a sense of warmth and familiarity. While lacking in liveliness, due to most of the fisherman still being out for the day, the sun was slowly pushing its way to tuck in behind the nearby hills of the highlands. The weather was good at least, the temperature mild with a soft breeze entering through the open windows looking out of the water, bringing a freshness to the place that seemed a world away from the packed city live of Beginnings. The theif took a seat in the back, her short black sleeveless yukata donned to give her a striking change from the boss fight, her psyche too awake to rest and too tired to start exploring what the second floor had to offer in terms of quests and combat. Still, the tavern didn’t quite seem her style, the pink-haired kunoichi normally living off of energy and chaos, but even she deserved some rest after the chaotic battle that they had all just witnessed. Perhaps it wasn’t rest she needed but more time to process what she had just experienced, she was stronger and more skilled then before by a large measure, but did they really come out ahead give all of the souls that fell in the course of just moving ahead a single floor. Regardless it seemed that there were lessons to be learned, and hopefully the same mistakes weren’t made the next time around. A soft smile formed on the rogue’s sharpened features as she waved over a tanned waitress, “Shit…I’m starting to think like Rue…” the Irishwoman mused, shaking her head as she grinned to herself, pointing to the beer tar at the front of the room as she made her order. The young woman returned soon after with a large wooden mug of the ubiquitous dark ale of the floor, slightly chilled from the cold of the cellar below their feet and a small surprise…a small plate of grilled white fish smelling of salt and pepper. A soft whisper of thanks left her as the teenage waitress walked away, the pretty girl seeming quite out of place in the burly fishing town. The tapas-dish looked heavenly as a quiet growl left her empty stomach, her mind lightened slightly from its weight at least for the moment. |
