So! Just a quick little drop pre-news. With the update coming to profiles to incorporate titles/guilds/homes, another system is getting released and most of you are probably dredding it. Yep. Its inventory caps, and yours is 10. Some characters, such as my very own Kyo have become hoarders of item and are already at or even possible OVER this cap. If you exceed it ALREADY we will allow the items to remain until you find something to reduce under the cap again.
If you are at the cap and turn in a thread you will be prompted by the GM as to what to do with your item rewards. You could either drop the rewards of the thread or make space to claim the rewards, HOWEVER, you will be given 48 hours from time of thread review to do so- so keep the inventory clean!
So now you may ask, what could I possibly do with only 10 spaces? I'm a traveling merchant who needs at least 3 different exotic weapons of each type for sale at all times! Well... the answer to that is simple-ish. Expand your inventory! How? Wel... When you cant fit things in your pocket any more it might be time to invest in a home that has storage of its own! Thats right. All homes come compounded with inventory upgrades. This upgrade varies home-to-home HOWEVER you will only gain benefits from your best home. (You could always sell your old home deeds to others OR keep it as a nice crash pad when your taking a nice relaxing stroll on the easier floors. Note: on the lower level floors (where we are for a while) these cap increases will be small. The first floor apartment deed will continue to NOT provide any additional bonuses other than having real estate in the games largest city. The first home to provide any space will start on the second floor!
Now you ask- "I need a house AND a shop to be a committed merchant?" well this is truly a predicament isnt as merchant love their money and don't like wasting it on garbage! Well, again I [GM] John have the solution for your troubles! With the deed to a shop and the mercantile skill, us merchantly folk can spend our money more effectively than that! Between the two of these you might be able to persuade the local realtor to cut you a break and sell you homes at half price, EVEN if its on sale. In fact- EVEN if its on FIRE SALE. Note that this will only apply to homes within the same floor of the shop.
Now that my sales pitch on something I wasn't selling is done, I open the floor to questions!
