Seeing Angelo immediately asking Rue about the clues which could lead to his sister was no surprise, it was only natural especially after looking for her for such a long time. Janeiro was happy for him, hoping it was actually her and not a misunderstanding leading to another disappointment. She did not have siblings and it was difficult to imagine how it would be growing up with other, related children in the same house. She had never wished for them either, although it seemed like some people found great comfort in the company of their siblings. Most of the time Janeiro had been alone, and even though that was not her favorite, she had come to terms with it...
The way Rue phrased how Janeiro and Angelo were good for each other made the black-haired girl feel uncomfortable and she gave the 15-year-old a harsh look. Yes, it was good to talk about one's feelings once in a while, but it had nothing to do with him in particular.

"I'm ready for the next floor, I think. I hope... it will be an even nicer place than the first. This is still a game that's supposed to be fun, and it often is. I'll make sure I won't get in too much danger, though. Hopefully the same goes for you two." She looked up at the ceiling in thought, breathing in and out once, before focusing on Angelo again. "You look like you can barely sit still. If you want to go look for your sister right now I'm not stopping you."

The rain was pouring hard and his cup was nearly empty. Angelo drank the rest in one gulp and placed the cup down gently. He listened to what Rue had to say, stealing a glance at Janeiro when she talked about them being good for each other. Rue was only a few years younger than them, probably her first year of high school or her last with middle school. Yet she speaks like a hardened warrior. What did she experience in real life? Or was it here in Sword Art Online that she changed into the Rue before him?

There wasn't really a conversation to talk about. Sure, it was very nice to talk to Janeiro about personal matters, letting all the stuff that was troubling him and worrying him out of his body, but that wouldn't be considered a conversation. It was getting late outside. The rain clouds were already blocking out the sun, leaving Horunka in a state of darkness. Although he was getting restless with the information he received, he knew that it wasn't the time to go out. Angelo would depart for the grocery store early morning tomorrow. It wouldn't make sense to head over to the store while its closed anyways.

He told Janeiro that he would rest for the day inside this inn before heading out first thing in the morning. Angelo stared at Rue's food for a moment, curious about its taste.

"What is your favorite food to eat for dinner? Mine would be.. hmm.. Butajiru? Curry?

The boy would call over the other waitress and ask if they had curry. The waitress smiled and nodded, prompting Angelo to buy a large plate with beef. Once it arrived, he would offer to share it with the two other girls.

As the small girl ate she looked to Janeiro who gave her a harsh look at Rue's comment at the two being compatible. Looking at the older girl with a slightly confused look and putting her food down. " What you don't enjoy his company, the way you two seemed to talk you seemed like friends"? Rue tone and expression was slightly confused. Looking at the uncomfortable expression on Janeiro face, gave the small girl a hint at her thoughts.(Men and Women can just be friends your so immature, unless you like him). Rue gave a small teasing smile at the older girl, with a look that says you are you interested in him? Stopping the relationship warfare as Janerio seemed to be mature enough to not get flustered at the young girls teasing. Going back to a more relaxed form she nodded at Janerio, " Think a lot of us are ready for the next floor and if not we'll work together". Her words were genuine she would help her friend at anytime through anything. A small pause cut through the conversation as Rue looked back to her food as she thought about the hardships ahead. As Rue ate her food while listening to the two talk about Angelo's leaving to search or not. Not really paying much attention as if he left she would go with him, Rue promised to help him find his sister after and the small tank never leaves a job half finished. The bit of the conversation that entered her conscious told her that he would be staying till tomorrow. A smile cracked on Rue's face as she did want to spend more time with her friend, outside of danger where they could talk and relax. Rue paused at the man's question. It was not a simple question, and in such a vague question. " I do like curry, but it's not my favourite type of food for dinner, and it has to be made well so many places make such simple mistakes when it comes to curry. However small mistake when making curry effect, and most of the time ruin the dish". Rue stared at her food, deep in thought she liked soups, but they were so many to chose from. Narrowing her eyes Rue stressed her mind as she, flipped through her memories of soups. Miso,Tonjiru,Dangojiru,Sumashijiru was her favourite type of soup from her country, but it was not her favourite. Relaxing she remember the mix of favour that was Harira soup. Looking to Angelo with a smile and a confirming tone, " While Sumashijiru is my favourite type of soup from home nothing can compare to the spikes of flavour and texture that was Moroccan Harira". Rue sighed at thought of the thought of the thought of enjoying Harira, from the small African restaurant that was near her home. Maybe on the upper floors that might have African cuisine? Rue continued to day dream about food as Angelo's order arrived, oblivious to the two as she stared at her soup wish trying to visualize her dream.

Janeiro simply nodded, hearing that Angelo would stay the night. She was fine with that. Her eye conversation with Rue continued, a smirk appearing on the pale girl's face Janeiro had never seen before, who in turn tried to rub that expression off of Rue's face with an intense stare. It wasn't like that! She had just rarely talked to a boy like that, about one's emotions and with only two people around and not a group, although now Rue had joined in. Besides, she couldn't know whether she liked somebody just from a few encounters anyway. Or something like that. Janeiro had never had a boyfriend before and she wasn't sure herself how the whole emotions and maybe dating thing would work for her. Those were stupid thoughts anyway, being trapped in Sword Art Online meant there were much higher priorities than suddenly going on a boyfriend safari.

At least the conversation topic shifted to food, which was not as unsettling. It was no surprise that Rue would be a harsh critic, and thanking Angelo for his generosity she did take some steaming meat off the huge platter. It was too much for one person anyway, that's why Janeiro did not mind. Otherwise she would have felt bad. Harira? Janeiro had never heard of that before. She knew that her knowledge of foreign cuisine was quite limited though.
"Curry is very good... I like crab meat a lot, but my favorite is kitsune udon." It embarrassed Janeiro a little to say that, although she was not sure why herself.

The non verbal conversation that was going on between Rue and Janeiro was confusing to Angelo, who opted to simply stay out of it and focus on his food. With his spoon, he took a small slice of rice and beef and dipped curry to one end of it, having a mini curry plate on a spoon. As soon as he put the spoonful into his mouth, arrarghargagrharhargahgraghr. Heaven. The fluffy white rice, the mildly spicy curry sauce, the soft and succulent beef that just melts on your tongue.. If only he got to eat that type of curry here in Sword Art Online. Sadly, all he had was a simple curry dish made on the first floor. The quality would obviously not be THAT good.

A solitary tear rolled down the right side of his face where his beauty mark was located before falling down to his lap and disappearing altogether. How he missed eating delicious curry. The boy sighed. Rue always had a way with her words to make you feel down and depressed at times. This time it was her berating the godliness of curry. Angelo looked down at his plate and took a few more spoonfuls before looking at Janeiro. Crab was a delicious delicacy in Japan and Angelo simply nodded to agree with her statement. He took another bite before turning to speak to Rue.

"I'm not familiar with a Moroccan Harira. Is the dish's origin where you are from as well?" He had no clue where or what a Moroccan Harira was. He asked the question to understand more about the food as well as the younger girl too.

The small girl's smirk did not die down at the older girl's stare and flustered look. Angelo seemed lost on the whole encountered and stayed out of it. Rue listened to Janeiro's took some of Angelo's curry and talked about her favourite foods She liked. Rue nodded at her tastes, but she would lift an eyebrow at a sense of slight embarrassment upon mention Udon. Not calling her out Rue on her embarrassment, Rue would agree with Janeiro about her like of Udon. Rue looked at the boy wolfing down his curry. He seemed to enjoy curry, even simple curry. Rue held off on Angelo's offer of curry as she saw the dish. Rue could see a small, but dead give away that the curry was not worth trying. They used short grain rice, Rue could tell by how it stuck together. You use long grain rice in sauces, it's fluffy and stays separate and does not get soggy fast like short grain rice would if you put it in a sauce. Such a simple mistake gave her all the information she needed on the curry. Angelo seemed upset by Rue's pervious comment on curry. Sighing at the boy with bits of rice and curry on his face. " One of these days i'll take you to a place on a side road back at the town of beginning. It's a small stall that servers curry that will show you what real curry is. The pork curry will take you back home". As everyone seemed to be eating Rue would do the same. Rue put down her spoon as she looked at Angelo. Pausing again to rethink what he said. the first part was fine, but the last part "Is that a dish's origin where you are from as well". Rue looked at Angelo with a narrow stare as her temper would boil. Looking at him and his completely ignorant expression and genuine willingness to learn. Rue looked away and let out a deep breath. Rue would look back at him with a more calm expression. Rue was very proud of her heritage and studies the way and traditions under her grandparents. Angelo was clearly Japanese and his lack of knowledge was not completely his fault. Speaking in her mother tongue she spoke calmly and clearly to the emptied headed boy. "Morocco is country in North Africa. It is an official kingdom. Morocco has one of the most diverse cuisines in the world, ranging from Berber Moorish, European and Mediterranean methods. There more famous dishes include Couscous,Pastilla,Tajine,Tanjia and Harira". Rue paused and took a sip of her tea, letting the information sink in before continuing. Placing her tea back down she would continue to educate him. "Harira is a dish usually served at Ramadan.. It's a religious holiday for Muslims don't think about it to much, I don't want to overload you with information. The food is a soup made from tomatoes,lentils,chickpeas,onions,rice,beaten eggs, celery, parsley, coriander, saffron, ginger, pepper, olive oil and meat mostly beef since Moroccan people eat more red meat in their diet. While cooking thickener is add to the soup like one would do with a stew. Lemon juice can also be added at serving time as well as salt and turmeric. Their traditional honey coated sweets are served as a side with it. Like figs and dates". Rue sat back on her chair after her speech and placed her hand back on her spoon. Her food was starting to get cold as she spoke. Talking about interesting subjects took her mind off of the white haired boy's verbal blunder as she finished her food.

The curry was indeed alright, nothing special but nothing to complain about either. Janeiro agreed that using short-grain rice was kind of strange, but it did not bother her. She made sure she did not eat much though, it was still Angelo's curry after all. Rue mentioning a special curry place made Janeiro curious. She had heard of that one either, but then again in all these months she had only been to the Town of Beginnings on very few occasions.

Rue's barrage of encyclopedic knowledge about Moroccan cuisine mixed with insults about Angelo's mental capacity was mostly ignored by Janeiro who ordered new green tea, she would forget most of it within minutes anyway. Instead she enjoyed the aroma of the hot brew which warmed her hands placed around the cup, wondering whether she was supposed to feel sorry for Angelo or Rue whose heritage had been guessed absolutely wrong.

After Rue got silent to eat Janeiro spoke again, looking at Angelo. "Rue-chan too is Japanese, I guess it was hard to tell for you because of her hair and eye color or you thought 'Moroccan harira' is just a name, right? She can become pretty energetic when someone mentions a topic she is passionate about..." She tried to explain Rue's behavior, quickly facing her. "Not that that's a bad thing. It's cute. My knowledge about cultures is kind of limited, I mostly remember stuff from schoolbooks. For my parents it was always very important that I study a lot."

He would like to know if there was actually a shop on the first floor that has good food. Angelo has been to several of the restaurants and stalls. His love for all kinds of food probably made him search for all the food that could possibly be found on the first floor. Soo far, there wasn't anything that screamed DELICIOUS to his mind and tastebuds, so the boy was rather dejected at that thought. However, if there was actually a place here that was as delicious as Rue had said, he would definitely be wanting to try it out later on.

She explained the dish's origin and what it was comprised of, but Rue didn't really say if she was African or not. That was later answered by Janeiro, who said that the younger girl was indeed Japanese. He looked back at tank girl and observed her face. He had an inkling that she was Japanese, but he didn't know whether or not she was full or half. Rue's face didn't truly seem fully Japanese.

Studying. He didn't really like the act of it, but he had to in order to keep appearances for the outside world. A straight-A student, he balanced school work with his club's activities. At least, until he got stuck in Aincrad. Angelo's face turned a bit sour as he thought about his friends that he couldn't see anymore. He banished that trail of thought from his mind with another scoop of curry into his mouth.

"交換してもいいですか？" The boy gave a try at becoming friends with Janeiro and Rue. He pulled down his menu and sent a friend request to the both of them.

[Rue]

Finishing her food and patting her mouth with a napkin. Rue looked to Janeiro who had referred to her as "Rue-chan". Janerio would tell Angelo was Japanese and that she gets excited when she talks about interests. Getter slightly fluster at the older girl's comment Rue would explain herself. "It's not cute I just studied and read a lot. Janerio-san, don't talk like that in front of a him". It was her up bringing that made her so knowledgeable. Her parents made her study and only acknowledged her when she accomplished their goals.

Rue looked at Angelo who was observing her face. Looking back at him with a soured expression. he seemed as if he still was in disbelief at the small girl's nationality. " You have food on your face". Rue decided to take his attention off of her in a nicer way then telling him to stop staring.

The table got quiet as Angelo sent them a friend request. Rue looked at it before telling him good night. The friend request would sit in front of the small light blued haired girl as the cleaned the table. " What a hopeless boy, I take it back my joke about you liking him". Rue seemed to be more calm as her main antagonizer had left for the night. " How are you holding up with all of this". Rue motioned to everything. " You have not called me for help so I will assume you kept yourself out of holes at the very least". Rue would let out a chuckle as she ordered a beer and asked if Janeiro would like one.

Janeiro looked back at Rue apologetically before looking down at the wooden table's wavy grain. As she had hastily tried to de-escalate the situation by explaining she had made too many assumptions and overlooked Rue's own feelings. Emphasizing the '-san' suffix when she addressed Janeiro probably meant that she did not want to be called Rue-chan either... in general Rue seemed to associate cuteness with weakness. Janeiro did not think that was the case at all, but she did not find the right words for it. She accepted Angelo's friend request, seeing nothing wrong with that. Her list of friends still wasn't very full and he did not annoy her or anything. Finally she sighed.
"Don't make jokes about stuff like that. I really did not mean to debase you earlier, please don't take it as an insult."
She felt tired herself now, the day had been over quite fast today. "I'm alright. Not going into the dungeon all by myself anymore, it was a reckless idea to begin with. We all made that mistake, though. I guess you did not get into too much trouble either, or that you would not tell me about it." She looked at Rue for a moment before saying a sentence that she said to her just as much as to herself. "It's good to admit that one cannot do everything alone."
Janeiro was a little surprised when Rue ordered beer. "Me? Of course not! We're minors and you're even younger than me!"

There wasn't anymore curry to keep his mind off things. The plate was scooped clean leaving no grains behind. He raised his hand to his face when Rue said that he had food on his mouth. Angelo felt around with his fingers, but didn't find anything curry-like or stuff sticking out of his mouth. He glanced back at Rue and gave her the 30° tilted head look most infamously used by dogs, wondering why she said that.

The friend request was accepted almost immediately by Janeiro, who gave her a smile in return. His friend's list updated with Janeiro's name, but he still didn't see Rue's name. He looked at the younger girl who didn't accept the request again. Does she have insecurity with people?

When Janeiro said that she would no longer go into the dungeons by herself, Angelo winced. He was thinking about going to the dungeons later actually.. The boy laughed out loud, hiding the fact that he thought such a thing. The beer that the minor got raised questions within Angelo's mind. Guess she doesn't care. He chuckled at Rio's words. Soo true.

Even if he wasn't asked if he wanted a beer, Angelo wouldn't take one either way. He had an early day tomorrow. All he could do was just let this night end.

[Rue]

Rue looked back at the apologetic older girl as she then looked down and started to apologise to Rue about calling her cute and using the suffix chan. Rue cut of the older girls apology with a smile and a light hearted tone. " Janeiro it did not brother me when you called my actions cute and used chan. I'm just teasing you can call me cute if you would like, as long as you won't mind me pointing out that your beauty beats out my cuteness". Rue laughed off the event with a small chuckle".

Janerio seemed to immediately accept the boy's friend request. Rue looked back at Angelo who was looking at her. Sighing, and giving in she accepted the friend request. "Fine you win will all be friends". Rue gave the boy a stern look and tone of voice, " Just as I said to Janeiro message if your in need of help, and i'll be there as fast as possible".

With the business of friend requests said and done Rue would of leaned back into her chair, but it was a bar stool. Relaxing as best she could. rue smiled as Janeiro said she had been alright, and is not putting herself in risky situations. Looking at Rue Janerio seemed to turn the tables and asked her about danger. " You know me so well. I won't lie I have been through many life and death trials since we last met. Let's not worry about it, what matters is that i'm here talking to you right now. Worrying about it won't help. I had some help, and she cleared my thoughts and previous way of thinking". Rue spoke calmly with a grin on her face to Janerio. " Thank you for the concern, it's nice to know I have such a good friend thinking about my feelings. Don't worry about me it my job to worry".

When Rue ordered her beer and asked if they wanted one Janerio responded just as a responsible girl would. Angelo refused as well since he was going to get up early. Smiling as her drink came, she looked at the older girl and spoke jokingly. " Good thing I have such a responsible senior looking out for me. If I get to tipsy will you carry me to bed and care for your cute friend"?

Angelo stayed rather silent for the time being listening to the girls talk, so Janeiro focused her attention on Rue, listening to her explaining how she was alright with being called cute. When Rue suddenly talked about Janeiro's alleged beauty, the older girl's face flushed immediately, changing its color to an extremely intense red. "Idiot, what are you talking about!? You must have drunk some alcohol already!" Rue's chuckle wasn't helping matters.
At least the topic then changed, but Janeiro remained a little flustered. Help of someone who changed her way of thinking? That person must have had impressed Rue... What kind of person could that have been?
"Right now none of us should worry, probably. We're all in good health and not stupid. Most of the time. Because what you are doing right now is, sorry but I don't want to see you get drunk and say even more weird stuff." Janeiro said, standing up from the table. "It's late, I'm going to excuse myself. ...Overall it was nice talking to you two, relaxing, to be honest. I talked about some things I rarely talk about. If you're going to drink don't overestimate yourself, Rue."

The rain was still pouring outside. The hearth full of customers, Angelo looked back towards the bar and saw it overfilled with people trying to get alcohol. Seriously, just because it was a rainy day, doesn't mean that all these people have to look depressed around here. He took a napkin and wiped the corners of his mouth clean. He placed it on the empty plate and placed it on the side of the table, where the waiter would later pick it up and refill his cup with more green tea. He nodded briefly before turning back to Rue and Janeiro.

The former had finally accepted the friend request, much to the delight of the young teenager. He smiled largely, showing teeth. Their conversation was rather deep and he didn't want to intrude on it, but Angelo laughed out loud when the two were talking about Janeiro's beauty. He agreed completely on that part. She was very pretty. Rue's softened expressions at the moment were a first for Angelo. He always saw her as a stoic tiny human who carried too much inside her. It was a good change of pace.

He drank his tea with gusto, only to accidentally burn his tongue. Angelo breathed in and out to cool the burn. Rio excused herself, saying that it was getting late. He smiled and stood up from the table as she did so, giving her a small bow as well. The white-haired teenager would wait until Rue was done drinking and goes to sleep as well before turning in for the night himself. It only depended on when the young girl would go.

Rue expression turned to one of disappointment as the flustered girl excused herself and said she did not want to see her get drunk. Rue was not planning on getting drunk, but teasing the older girl was enjoyable. Rue placed her beer over on another table offering it to the other patrons.

Rue looked back to the tomato with a small smile. " Sorry for teasing you again, but nothing I said has been a lie. Your much more beautiful then I am Janeiro". Rue stood up and waved to the two players as she left to put her stool back and get a room. Walking to the stairs, Rue thought about asking the older girl if she wished to share a bed as a final tease to get on last cute reaction from her friend. Rue held off however as she did not want to give the poor girl a heart attack. Moving up the stairs and entering her room she would turn in for the night.
