"Never Falter Never Look Back!"
 | Rue would walk along the cobble stone roads of the town. The sun greeted the sky as the people were exiting their homes and preparing to start the day anew. Rue's head still hurt a little from the last night, however see felt lighter. It was odd that she awoke next to Relsialle who looked at her differently then she did before. ( I tired to ask about last night and she said that, we had a "Good Time" ), Rue blushed as she remember the morning. She annoyed at how the rouge teased her, but the way she looked at her and spoke felt soft and nice. The way she stroked her head, made Rue feel happy. Rue entered the General store and looked around for the items she would need on her quests. She look along the various selves and displays, tools lay on racks and creates vegetables sat over by the wall adding colour to the interior. getting a few apples and some water Rue walked up to the counter and greeted the Owner of the store. The women looked shock at Rue's greeting. " This is the first time you ever greeted me, you would always just put the money down and leave, it's good to see you smile you should do it more often. Rue paused was she smiling was it so odd for her to be smiling. Paying for the items she thanked the Women who almost went into shock as Rue left. Eating one of the apples as she walked through the town she would stop and wave at Sean as she walked by. He would hold his arms out and his wife hit him in the back of the head. She continued to walk. By the entrance she would hear a girl crying, Looking around Rue would see the small girl slightly shorter then herself kneeling down with her head on her knees crying. She wore a pink dress that hung to her ankles and had long blond hair. Rue walked over to her and kneed down, and spoke softly " What is the matter little miss". She would look up at the amber eyed girl with a tearful expression, " I can't find my mommy... anywhere". The girl's broken words tugged at Rue's heart strings, " It's fine i will help you find you mother what does she look like"? The girl sniffled, " She tall and has blond hair like mine and is pretty with blue eyes". Rue paused and spoke softly, " That's not much to go on, go you pick her out of a crowd"? The girl nodded. " Well come on let's go find her", The girl shook her head, " No i was told not to go with strangers". Rue smiled at the girl, " Yes your right of course, but i don't know what your mother looks like i am not going to hurt you i just want to help". The girl nodded, " Then let's be friends, my name is Teir what's yours". Rue stood up and reached out her hand, " it's Rue and i would like to be your friend. The small girl looked up at her as she grabbed her hand." That's a pretty name, it suits you.. your very pretty". Rue smiled at her while helping her up. " Thank you Teir, your very cute as well". The small girl giggles and latched onto Rue side. Looking through the town, Rue and Teir would ask around if anyone has seen her mother. Unfortunately every single person said that they have not seen her. They continued to walk and look as the day turned to night. Rue looked down at Teir who looked depressed, stroking her head like Relsialle did to Rue's she spoke to her. " don't worry will find her, but it's getting dark let's turn in for the night". Teir would rest her head on Rue's side, she was hiding how tired she was. Rue picked her up and carried her on her back. As Rue walked to the closes inn Teir would fall asleep on the small girl. Paying for a room with two beds she would place the girl on the bed and put her under the covers. Rue changed into her sleepwear and moved to her bed. Teir eyes would open and look at Rue her sleepy face barely staying awake. " Rue could we sleep together i don't want to be alone"? Rue would look at her in confusion, she would be right over there, but she looked at her with sad eyes. Rue sighed and got into bed with her and put her arms around her while she stroked her head. Teir would fall asleep in Rue's arms as she comforted her. Rue's eyes grew heavy as she fell into a dream. Rue vision was burry and her head hurt. She could feel the air lick her body, was she naked!? She slowly look around as she tired to move her arms and legs, but they were tied down. Struggling she would hear a distorted voice speak to her, " Rue calm down, i'm not going to hurt you just need to take your measurements". She could feel a piece off cloth move around her body. " Your skin is so smooth and pure, like a pearl... my pearl you won't abandon me". The voice was small and high pitched with the sounds of greed. Rue fought against her restraints and yelled and trashed around. " Why are you making it difficult, i just don't want you to leave me like she did". Rue could feel a liquid being forced down her throat, she coughed and gaged as it went down. Her head felt heavy and her body went limp and she slowly lost her consciousness. " Wake up... Wake up Rue". Rue would open her eyes to see Teir in a red and white dress sitting in front of her at a table. The table was set with tea and biscuits, looking around she could she other girls with dim soulless eyes on either side of her. Rue struggled to get out of the chair, but the restraints were to tight. " Teir what are you doing what is this"! Rue voice was loud and filled with anger and fear. Teir smiled and looked at her confused," It's a tea party silly". She would giggle and get off of her chair and pour tea into the cups of the other girls. They did not move or responded to the girl, they sat there staring off into space. " Sorry for their rudeness they are shy". Teir moved to pour Rue a cup of tea, Rue shook the chair trying to get free. " Rue your acting very rude, making all that noise and i went through the trouble of making that dress for you". Rue looked down at herself she was wearing a black and white dress with frills, making her look like a loita goth. Teir set back down and begins to sip her tea. " Rue you look really petty in your dress, your skin is the perfect contrast". Rue looks at her with a burning glare and a loud voice. " Teir let me go right now". Teir's face tightens up at Rue's words. " Why are you not having fun, are you going to leave me like my mother"? Teir voice was upset and her eyes teared up. " I thought we were friends, friends don't leave their friends"! Rue looked at the girl with disgust and anger. " Friends don't tie their friends to chairs and drug them"! Teir stood up and pulled a vial out, moving to Rue she forced it into her mouth." Your not going to leave me, your my friend, your my pearl". Rue would fight against the girl trying to spit the contents out. Biting down she would snap the vial it's contents would pour onto the floor as Rue spat out the glass and liquid. Teir would slap Rue, and leave to go get other vial. Rue shook and pulled at her binding, knock the chair on it's side the hand rest broke off releasing her left hand. Pulling at and loosen her other hand, Teir would make it back with vial in hand. " What are you doing, are you tying to leave, you said you would help me and be my friend. Your a liar,liar,liar liar"! Teir pulled out a knife and moved towards Rue, the tiny blond haired girl slashed downward at Rue. Rue slid the chair back hitting the girls legs causing her to fall and drop the vial, it rolled under the table. Rue grabbed at the girls hand and cut through one of the bindings releasing her leg. Teir would fight against Rue, but she was not strong enough. Dragging her arm towards the other binding Rue cut through it freeing herself, wrapping her legs around the small girls arms she would hold her knife hand and body in place while she reached the vial. Teir trashed and screamed and bit down on Rue's leg as she reached for the vial. Grapping the vial, Rue pulled her body upwards and thursted the bottle down the girl's throat. Teir would cough and choked on the bottle, tying to push Rue off with her free hand. Rue held the bottle down her throat until the Girl fell victim to the drug. Rue breathed in heavily as she let the girl go. Pushing the girl off of her she would lay there in shock, to many emotions and fears ran through her head. Her heart was beating to fast she felt like she was having a heat attack. Standing up her head felt dizzy, holding on to her stomach she retched as the events that have transpired overwhelmed her. Wiping her face off she would grab the knife and free the other girl. Rue would snap her fingers at them, yell smack them nothing they were alive, but their minds were gone. Rue shook as she imagined what would of became of her as she looked apon a possible future, backing away and looking away she left the room. Walking through the stone walls and floors she would come across the bedroom of Teir. Searching through her room she found her gear and the girls diary. Putting her clothes back on and throwing the dress far out of sight, Rue looked at the book. Opening through the book she would glance through the book. The book showed Rue that, her mother and her both entered the game. Her mother paid for this basement, and went out of town to earn col ever now and then to paid for food and other expenses. She did not come back though, the contents begin to get worse and worse. She writes about how her mother abandon her and how she started her collection. Closing the book not wanting to delve into it anymore then she already did, Rue looked for an exit. Leaving the basement the sun greeted her and the sounds of laughing and having fun. ( How can they laugh and joke, when there is death and corruption all around them ). Rue walked up to one of the players an handed him the book. " Here, if you want to find the owner, just go down into the basement right there". Rue pointed and left before the player could responded. Later that day the town would talk about a girl and her dolls. They would say that she was a poor girl that, lost her way do to poor circumstances, but what about the victims and pain she caused would they ever be addressed or are they sweep aside. |
