[Sword Art: Shinguru shi (シングル死, Single Death)]
Effect: Quickly unleashes a powerful single slash at the target after a brief moment of 'charging' the arts fire to the weapon. Deals more damage, single attack/strike/slash. (1 Hit - 200%, 50% chance of adding Burn Effect)
Trigger: Caedes places his weapon back into the sheath that rests on his side and crouches down low to the ground.
Description: After briefly channeling his focus and power into a single outward draw that arcs from his waist far above his head, he simultaneously moves forwards towards the enemy in one fluid motion. The blade leaves behind a dark red trail as it leaves the scabbard and cleaves through the air and enemy, while Caedes himself has a visual "heat" rising from him...the resulting explosion of force engulfing the enemy.
[Personality]
Calm, cool, and collected. That's the kind of man Shiba aspired to be, and it's the furthest thing from the possible truth. In the world of Sword Art Online, as Caedes; Shiba has adopted his beloved type of character entirely. He has the looks, voice and way of carrying himself that give off the first impression that he’s the calm, cool and collected protagonist everyone is looking for in their life. The problem is, once people get to know him… That image is completely shattered! The truth is that Shiba is your typical clumsy hikkimori with a big habit of saying the worst things in every situation possible. Both clumsy and aloof in real life, these traits aren't ones easily discarded even in the fantasy world of Sword Art Online. Around those he gets to know, his actual personality starts to show through his "Cool guy" facade. While his heart is almost always in the right place with whatever he does, the people close to him that learn things about his real life can't help but wonder if everything is as okay as he makes it seem...
[Biography]
A room filled with the latest and greatest electronics, bookshelves stacked with only the most classic of videos and games, everything an aspiring anime lover and game enthusiast would ever wish for in the world! This was the kind of life Shiba had learned to… hate.
An empty house, no social life and any signs of family being in another country every week for business trips, this was the type of life Shiba Hanabusa had learned was routine. From an early age he was given almost anything he could’ve ever wanted and drifted without a care in the world throughout his education, not hitting a wall until his early twenties. He quickly learned that depending on other people wasn’t getting him anywhere but felt like he had wasted his whole life up until that point, having no real significant skills that would land him a respectable job or any sense of purpose. Despite being surrounded with everything he ever loved, he simply wasn’t happy in life anymore. He felt like so much was missing, but stuck in his typical ways continued to simple watch time fly by him.
Always ending up at a crossroads, Shiba retreated back into the world of fantasy to escape the torments of real life and avoid the responsibilities and sadness he had to face. He always looked on in awe, captivated by the protagonists of his anime’s and video games that had every answer to any situation that was ever thrown their way. That’s the type of man he wanted to be, surrounded by friends and bringing change to the world around him. That’s why when the biggest, greatest most hyped up game was announced he lined up to buy it as soon as he could; having influential parents was good for situations like this: Being one of the few thousand players to log in on the first day of its grand opening.
That was both the ending of one nightmare, and the beginning of another.
