Jay stood there his right hand waving the menu screen away once again, he had lost track of the times he had checked and double checked that menu, even after that "big announcement" that informed everyone that they were now trapped in this world. It was a heavy feeling that lingered in his being. He was single in the real world after all, moved out from under his parents protection, alone. Was he going to die that way, was his days already numbered do to his body dehydrating or would it be the hunger. Jay may not had the full course of anatomy and physiology while in collage but he new that most likley it would not be the game that killed him.
At that thought he brought the heal of his closed fist to his forehead letting the impact force his mind onto a different line of track, focusing on the future like there was none was pointless anyways. Jay, no Vallandrian, that was the name he had chosen for himself, let out a small sigh as he opened the fist that was against his forehead and ran his fingers through his hair causing the hair to slick back for a moment before parting once more with those two loose strands falling back over his face. What was he too do but enjoy the present.
Heading off Vallandrian would pass by stores and shop keeps until he entered the tavern. Jay had played a bit of dungeons and dragons back when he attended secondary school for law enforcement, most great quests started in a tavern to begin with, so why shouldn't Vallandrian's. It caused him to smile at the memory, in fact his avatar was named after the half elf fighter he once role played as in that table top game. Small coincidences that is what would make him keep going as Vallandrian made his way to an empty table.
The smells of warm food and drink filled the place, for virtual reality it was indeed highly impressive.
