[Personality]
Valerie was raised to be a lady her parents could be proud of. Someone who was polite, calm, social and charming. Valerie kind of turned out like that, but has quite a few flaws that her parents rather wouldn’t want her to have.
One of those flaws is her sassy and rather rude attitude towards people that she dislikes. Anyone who she finds too full of themselves, too whiny or too annoying in some other way should not expect Valerie to greet them with a smile, nor ever say nice things to them. In fact, the chance of them ever hearing something nice coming from her mouth is smaller than getting hit by thunder.. Is that clear enough?
Valerie does take her time to decipher ones personality and decide whether they’re nice or not. A good thing about her is that she doesn’t judge people by the things they did in the past, and she also doesn’t listen what other people say about them, whether it’s positive or negative. This doesn’t count for murderers and psychopaths though, but that’s probably obvious. She also doesn’t believe things very quickly, unless there’s proof of it. Otherwise she will simply ignore it.
Aside from being a really rude person towards those she dislikes, Valerie also tends to be very blunt/straight to the point when talking to someone, which might be considered rude by others.
Valerie isn’t just a sarcastic, rude, and brutally honest girl though, she also has a good side. One of her traits she considers to be one of her best, is that she’s loyal to her friends, and won’t let anyone that harms them get away with it. She will seriously hunt people down if they dare to lay a hand on one of them, and will get her revenge. Valerie is very caring for family and friends, and will be there for them when needed.
When first meeting Valerie, she will not share too many details with others and act serious. She likes to keep distance between herself and other people until she knows what they’re like. If she happens to meet someone she likes, she will open up towards them, and noticeably get much nicer. Valerie will truly be a good friend, unless they betray her in some way. If that ever happens, Valerie will never forgive them.
◇Likes: Comfortable clothes, Duels, Winter.

Sword Art
Time out:
Effect: Attack three times, with a chance of stunning the opponent on the 3rd hit.
Trigger: To activate the ability, Valerie puts her left foot slightly more forward and holds her spear as if she’s holding a baseball bat.
Description: The ability activates when Valerie is in the position of a batter in a baseball game, Valerie will slash her spear from right to left across the target’s face, immediately followed up by a slash from left to right, again across the target’s face. Valerie will then quickly turn her spear around, making the back of the spear face forward, and then swing it over her head before smacking it down on the top of the target’s head with all of her strength. There is nothing fancy about this sword art, it’s just really bad-ass.
[Biography]
Valerie Eloise Lecuyer grew up in a small town, located in France, Lorraine to be precise. There she was raised by her two loving and rather wealthy parents, who both were successful business people in France. Her parents’ job paid really well, but also took a little too much time. Valerie wouldn’t see her parents from Monday to Saturday, because they would always come home really late or sleep somewhere else. Two amazing ladies were hired to take care of her and her brother, which went surprisingly well. Valerie really liked her caretakers, but it turned out that they weren’t the ones that were going to raise her until she turned 10. One day after her 10th birthday, Valerie was sent to a prestigious girls only school where she also lived in a dorm together with 4 other girls.
The first years on that school were hell on earth for the French girl. She wasn’t bullied, wasn’t lonely, but she was stressed out almost every day. The school she was sent to had very strict teachers that not only taught them math and spelling, but also how to be a “true lady” . Yes, it was pretty much a brainwashing programs to turn girls who were rude, asocial, disrespectful etc. into charming and polite girls who could make their families proud.
Valerie was sent to the school due to her lack of respect towards those older and with higher positions than her. Her parents of course wanted her to take over the business when the time came that they weren’t capable of working anymore. But with the attitude she had been showing at home, her parents didn’t think she would be capable of such a high position. Apparently, they saw the stupid school as the easiest way of making her become a better person.
Did that happen? Kind of. In the 6 years she spent at that school, Valerie just played along and did what she was told to do. She did get more social, avoided profanity, stopped eating like a “pig”, dressed in a fancier way, learned to speak English fluently , and got more intelligent in general. But her disrespect towards anyone she dislikes didn’t change at all. She just faked it though so that she wouldn’t get into any trouble.
As a reward for her “Outstanding behaviour” Valerie was sent a game she had been begging for, Sword art online. She wasn’t really into gaming, but the game allowed her to take a break from real life, and step into a whole new world where you could do so much more than in real life. She was also really interested in fighting, as she thought it would be a good way to let her anger and stress out.
The virtual world sadly was too good to be true.
Valerie became one of the 10 000 players to be trapped in SAO. Ironically, her only goal right now is to get out of the virtual prison, and to return to her family and friends.
