Location: The Center Of Town. Where the huge bell/Tower is. Flaurent walked down the cobblestoned paved road before her with quite the neutral expression on her face. It turning into a slightly more annoyed one once the sun seemed to shine right on her face, causing her to shield her eyes with the back of her hand as she looked around to see where she had wandered off to. She certainly was feeling stressed when she knew so many were contributing out there on the front lines, while she was just here. She even told herself time and time again that she'd try her best to help out someday, yet there she had been. Doing absolutely nothing to help out, she didn't even slay a single enemy, or get into any kind of fight to help her get the feel of this game more. So that's when it hit her, with a look of realization she let out a sort of smirk as she figured she couldn't do too much on her own. Finding friends and helping each other out for at least a few of these levels was most definitely the safest and smartest way to go, since she wasn't a hardcore player that knew everything going solo was out of the question. Once she actually finished thinking to herself, she continued onward and soon enough came to a stop, resting her back against one of the many pillars the area held. Her arms crossed as she eyed most the people there, though she did notice she did kinda stick out, considering all of the other players were socializing with each other as groups. She needed to find someone, or people that were at least in her predicament, or maybe someone that already was a higher level and was still here on their own for whatever reason. So, with that she started playing 'The Waiting Game', prepared to just walk up out of the blue, or interact with anyone that might be sticking out from the crowd. She did get the feeling others might be giving her a funny look, but that wasn't really important to her at this current moment.

Keith stepped outside of the Inn and felt disorientated for being held up in such a dark place for a long period of time, he would shield the sun shine with the back of his hand and made his way towards a shady area. He has been running around The Great Plains and The Black Forest and was able to rest himself at the Inn of the Town of Beginning, but it seems like time has passed. This is getting ridiculous. I don’t feel like doing much anymore… Nothing makes sense right now… Keith would think to himself, as he tries to wrap himself around what happened before.


The snowy-haired boy wanted to shut himself in, but it seems like everything inside of him has broken down. His amber eyes began to wander at the center of the city and his eyes caught on a female who seems to be hanging out around the pillar. He would shove his hands into his pockets and vanish within the crowd and made his way towards the female player. The snowy-haired boy made his way around the pillar and plopped himself on the opposite side of the pillar. He gathered his thought and had everything he wanted to say in his head.


Keith would then maneuver to her side and crossed his arms as he leaned his back against the pillar. “What are you doing eyeing everyone in the plaza?” He would ask the pillar in a soft tone. His attention was drawn to her out of everyone one else in the plaza which made him question why he would come over to the female player. Keith would let out a sigh, when he figured out why he would come over towards the female player.


She stuck out more than everyone else here… Everyone here is all gray to me, but then she suddenly popped out of nowhere in my vision. The snowy-haired boy would uncross his arms and shove his hands back into his pocket, he took a glance at the player and examined the gear she was wearing. “I’m assuming you were in the Town of Beginning since November. Don’t worry, I have been out there trying to catch up to those front liners and I have not even scratched the surface of where they are.” He would explain to the player and would walk up in front of her. Keith would point towards the exit of the town and let out a grin, “How would you like to slay some boars with me?” He would ask in a friendly tone.

It seemed Flaurent had underestimated the fact that she was paying attention to everything, except the small pillar area she was currently resting at. As much fun as it sounded, staring at everyone for a few minutes wasn't exactly fun at all. The lively noise of all the players talking off in the distance did give her something to try to listen to out of boredom at least. That was until she heard a voice come from almost out of nowhere, it just showed how much attention she was paying in the first place. She wasn't the kind of person to show it when she would be startled at least. Letting out a few blinks and raising both her eyebrows in confusion and surprise, though it was more of a surprised look than anything. She turned her head and began looking around to the left as well as to the right for the source of the voice, before deciding to answer back to the pillar behind herself and playing along for now. "Just eyeing what everyone else is doing, while I think about what I should do. That is all." She said closing her eyes, as she actually took note of what he had told her. Maybe just eyeing everyone did seem pretty weird, but how does one learn without seeing how something is done first, right? Once she opened her eyes again after a short moment to herself she finally paid attention to the one addressing her. He seemed like your regular aged student at least on first inspection and how young he seemed. After taking in the suggestion he had given her, and the way he already figured out her predicament, she could tell he at least was knowledgeable to help her out it seemed. And he wasn't one of those dangerous coloured players that were talked about. "I'm afraid you are 100% correct on that matter. I wasted my time doing nothing for too long." She said with a somewhat troubled look, before getting her back off the pillar she was originally resting on and smiling slightly. "If you don't mind helping me with all the basics, I must warn you. I'm awfully uninformed at the moment mostly." She said hating to admit it, but judging by his rather cheerful and outgoing personality, this wouldn't be too much of a problem at least. She seemed to try and go for the more formal approach and stuck her hand out to him for a handshake. "It's a pleasure to have your help." She replied feeling rather relieved that she had found, or rather had someone find her in this case. It seemed like an all out success for her, she just had to make sure not to overdo anything, and be careful.

Keith looked at the player with a smile and swipes down for the menu with his index and middle fingers. He tapped on the social bar and hovered over the party tab, he would glance over at the player and send a party invite towards her direction. Keith would continue to examine his gear and began tapping on his stats. Maybe with a few hard earn kills from more Frenzy Boars, I might be able to level up. Not sure if I should risk going for anything hire right now. I do not want to endanger the lives of other players for my personal goals. He would glance up at the player and smile, as he waits for her to accept the party request he had sent out to her. Keith expresses a kind expression towards the player.


He knew his kindness was beginning to fade the moment everything fell apart, when he went out on a quest he set up. The snowy-haired boy felt afraid of leading another party, but this time, he was not going to let his pride get in the way of what is happening. I can’t be leading players to their death… Not again… I can’t let it happen this time, I will do whatever it takes to save anyone who is in a party of mine. The party display updates and he looks over at the party tab and finds the name of the player, “Flaurent.” Keith would whisper under his breath, before looking over up into Flaurent’s eyes and offer her a smile. “It’s nice to meet you, Flaurent. My name is Keith, but you can call me Kei.” He would say, before looking over towards The Great Plains.


Keith motions towards The Great Plains and took a few steps forward. “Are you ready? We shouldn’t be killing sun light soaking in the sun.” He would joke, as he slowly walks backward towards The Great Plains. His amber eyes met with Flaurent’s light blue eyes and he lets out a small smile. Just keep smiling and there is no way anyone can tell if there is something wrong with me… Just… Smile… He would think to himself, before falling on his bum. Keith sat up, rubbing the back of his head, as the player he bumped into continued to walk away as if nothing happened.


The snowy-haired boy quickly got up to his feet, hoping no one saw him fall down. He would walk in a quick pace towards the gate of The Town of Beginnings and wait for Flaurent to catch up to him. As he waited for Flaurent to catch up, he would pull out his Beginner’s Guide and look through the Monster’s Manual and had a sudden flash back and quickly shut the book. Keith would let out a sigh, as he hang his head low.

Another day; sitting on top of the gate Tesh was looking out towards the horizon of the first floor…the sun was hot, bearing down on the back of his neck while he sit there, legs over-top of the stone arch, swinging slowly back and forth, his left hand on the stone arch bellow him with his right holding the hilt of his sword that was sheathed on his back. The wind was moving at a consistent current which made it bearable enough for him to stay out in the sun, his overcoat and hair flapping gracefully backwards from him in the wind. It was another beautiful day on the first floor in the world of Aincrad. Tesh took a deep breathe inwards, filling his entire capacity of his lungs before exhaling deeply, taking in all of the environment and atmosphere, he thought to himself I could never have this kind of experience back in the real world…even though the situation we are all in here, it’s moments like this that I continue and fight to stay alive here for just a bit longer. It’s been quite some time since Tesh had seen someone familiar to party up with to go out and get experience to try to level up and ultimately join in the fight in the front lines. He watched the people walk in and out of the gate hoping that someone familiar passed by. He had been doing this now for hours since the rise of the sun in the morning. The last time he was able to join a party was when he was out in the black forest with Kaito, the leader of the group, and the other guys. He took a another deep breathe in when he heard some scuffling about on the ground behind him, turning his head around he saw the snowy haired guy that was walking backwards through the street, who was fallen over on the ground, but bounced back up looking rather embarrassed about what he had just done in front of everyone. That hair ring a bell in Tesh’s head…Wait is that possibly Keith? Tesh thought to himself while staring down on the boy who had fallen over in the street, who had now turned around pulling out his guide, Tesh definitely realized that this was indeed Keith, one of the few from his party before out in the black forest. What a lucky chance for him to run into somebody that he knew! Before he was able to make it to the gate Tesh used his Acrobatics skill to jump from the ledge of the gate to one of the tall pillars in the town and then down to cobblestone street, right in front of Keith. Looking up at Keith who had seemed to be in a hurry Tesh looked at him and said, “Hey, how’s it going Keith? It’s been a little while now, are you doing anything today?”

Flaurent noticed he appeared to be busy looking through his menu currently, and not paying any attention to her attempts at giving a formal greeting with her handshake. Her somewhat of a smile turned into a more unamused face as she just slowly lowered her hand, since she figured he was one of those carefree teens that doesn't pay attention to anything other than what they're doing. Her small train of thought was cut-off by a notification she received in front of herself, it looked like a party invite. Since they were going to be together, it might of been logical that there'd be such a thing after all. She brought the same hand he did not shake and ignored, giving the accept button a small tap with her index, and middle finger together. When she looked at him, she would now notice his name. "Oh, so that's how that works. I see." She said holding up her chin in a thinkative pose, the side of her index finger on her chin, while her thumb was under it. She couldn't help, but hear him say something under his breath, but she couldn't really make out what he had said. So with her Handshake ignored, she decided that maintaining eye contact to be polite was the next best thing, and a more educative way of showing that she was indeed paying full attention to him. Once she heard his name, it would indeed confirm it, though it sounded more like a real name, than a username. "Keith? Quite the creative name you've got there." She said with a faint tone that implied she was just trying to joke with him, first impressions are indeed important to her. She noticed his attention going towards The Plains and saw his little motions he was letting out. Giving him a nod she decided it was best to get a move on it seemed. Though she noticed he appeared to be kind overconfident when he was just walking backwards towards their destination, that was a really good way to just trip, fall, or simply bump right into someone. "I sure feel ready." She replied in an assertive tone, before seeing the player he was about to bump into. "Careful the-" She stopped mid setence when it was already too late and he had fallen onto his rump. She was prepared to offer him a hand to help him right up, but it seemed he already had that covered. A small sigh of relief escaping her, hoping he wasn't like that in the middle of danger. She noticed him hurrying on ahead at a rather fast pace as she tried keeping up with him when he was getting quite the distance. Noticing his low hanging head. Once she arrived at the scene she saw another player interacting with him and just had to ask once she arrived next to both of them. "A friend of yours? Also, you seem a bit strange. You're suddenly all happy, but then you seem to make motions that would make me think you're pretty down." She said to Keith a bit confused, before turning to Tesh. "I'm Flaurent, it's a pleasure to meet you. Though you'd probably know that already if you happen to join us." She added with a sort of small smile

[Elpharae]

(OOC: Jumping in because I can. :P)

Elpharae sighed and ran a hand through his hair, utterly exhausted with the world. There was only so much the brunette could do before he felt as if he were pushing his boundaries quite past the limit, and in guild matters, that happened quite often. Without official approval and documentation, there was no real work he could do inside of the game without Athena, who had been AWOL for quite a while. That frustrated him, and all the brunette could do was stay quiet.

They hadn't even established a real system yet, and the sheer lack of organization grated on Elpharae's nerves. There was a proper time and place for improvisation, but this was definitely not one of them. He delicately ran his fingers over his copper rapier before noticing a flash of white. Keith? That was the white-haired player who had reminded him of Angelo due to the similarities in hair color when they had fought together in the plains. So he was here?

The brunet crossdresser sighed and smoothed down the front of his kimono-like salmon-colored top, dark eyes interested and then widening slightly as he noticed yet another player joining them. Was that...Tesh? From what he had heart from the local rumor mill, which was very, very helpful when he needed it, Rue had taken him on as a disciple. A small, intrigued smile blossomed on his face as he observed the scene from his perch on a ledge of a roof, invisible under the Stealth skill that he possessed. He wondered idly what type of power the gray-haired man would come to possess.

But no matter. The androgynous boy leaped off from the roof, landing neatly on his two feet thanks to his Acrobatics skill as he was still cloaked under Stealth. Who was that girl that accompanied them anyways?, he wondered lightly, eyes narrowing in friendly curiosity. Elpharae tied back his hair into a tall ponytail and then melted in with the crowd, brushing against other players on his journey to the others, and then, being pushed by a taller, bulkier player by mere accident, he stumbled.

And, by pure accident, he fell, and then right into the group, nudging the girl alongside the other players he had encountered before. Elpharae had a nagging feeling he had seen the raven-haired girl with a red streak in her hair somewhere before, but for now, he merely blushed hard and murmured an apology, delicately getting to his feet and ignoring the slightly woozy feeling that he had received from that blunt shove, praying that it wouldn't show, even though it probably did.

Keith wiped his eyes, before a familiar voice hit him suddenly. He quickly turned around and found a grey-haired boy. Te-Tesh… It has been quite a while since I have seen him. I already forgot the first time we met… Heh… What a terrible friend I am. He would offer Tesh a quick grin, before Flaurent approaches the two and ask if the two were friends. She would suddenly bring up how his emotions were changed suddenly and he would step back a bit from the two. Keith would then let out a sigh and smile, “My apologies, I was just thinking and I tend to think a lot.” He would say to Flaurent to satisfy her with an answer. Flaurent also invited Tesh on their adventure and Keith would call down for the social tab, selecting the party tab and tapped the invite button. He would send it over to Tesh, before swiping his menu away. Keith would then point out towards The Great Plains and stood for a second in silence and shook his head.


As Tesh’s name pop up on the party display, another person suddenly nudges Flaurent. Keith glances over at the player and it seems to be another familiar player, but he had to think hard to remember. Tsk… How can I forget who he is? He is the most unique person I have ever met! Uh… What was his name again? He began having a hard time remembering the brunet’s name, but shrugged it off, assuming that he might introduce himself to the party. Almost as if it was instinct, he quickly called for his social tab once again and tapped the party tab. Before he would hit the invite, Keith would pause and look up towards Elpharae. If I send him an invite, I would be able to get his name from the party display. That’s right. I could do that, but I should ask him if he wants to join the adventure they were going to head to.


Keith cleared his throat, “Ahem… Uh… Hey, do you want to join us on our little adventure into The Great Plains? I was about to teach Flaurent about the combat and was wondering if you want to head out with us.” He would ask the brunet, before his eyes began to wander and made eye contact with the brunet. Keith felt as bad that he already began to lose track of other player’s name and did not know what to do. He had no other way of remembering other players’ name, but there was nothing he could do. His condition was oblivious to him, but other people slowly began to notice his severe condition. Keith began to slowly lose himself in his thoughts, but when he went snapped back into reality, he also remembered the brunet’s name. He would snap his finger, “That was it!” he would exclaim, before looking at the other three in embarrassment and cleared his throat again.


The snowy-haired boy was always oblivious to any situation and he would always have embarrassed himself, but he could not help it. Keith never analyzed the situation and would do things that would make things awkward or straight embarrass himself. I need to learn to really read the situation… I was always told to not embarrass myself, but I just can’t help it! I guess finally remembering something is really exciting! Keith would think to himself, before staring blankly at Elpharae, waiting for his reply. He would begin to tinker around with his menu, so it would not seem like he was going to send Elpharae a party request so quickly.

Keith looked rather surprised to see Tesh standing in front of him now, well he did just jump down off of the gate to the town, that’d probably scare just about anyone come to think of it…Tesh chuckled a little to himself. Standing, sword sheathed on his back, a breeze came through that sent his hair and overcoat drifting in the wind behind him while Keith was remembering his name. “Keith, it has been awhile, and I know you’re not good with names, don’t worry about it, you are not a bad friend because of it.” He said with a smile on his face as he took his left hand and pressed the “accept” button to join in his party. Before he went to pick his head back up to talk more with Keith the party tab opened up and he saw another name, it read ‘Flaurent’. The name was unfamiliar to him, he asked himself what exactly they might be doing together, but before he was able to ask Keith who this person was, and what they were all about today, the lady walked up and introduced herself to him in a polite manner, with a smile on her face. Showing the same respect to her as she just gave him he politely reach out his hand and shook hers saying, “good morning, I’m Tesh, just out and about wondering on the first floor town today, since I have a day off from my training.” As he turned back to look over at Keith to ask what was on the plate for today he noticed somebody fall over into Flaurent, pushing the woman slightly forward, Tesh readied himself to catch her if she was about to fall, but luckily she was able to keep her balance. Looking down at the brunet, who was wearing a strikingly familiar dress, Tesh realized instantly that it was Elpharae, one of the other members in the guild, who he had last saw on that day when he challenged Rue to a duel and was accepted into the guild. Memories of him fighting Flint also came back to him, making him question how he fell down, before he seemed so agile and balanced on his feet, but either way as he got up and looked at the three standing there Tesh gave a respectful greeting to her arrival. “Good morning Elpharae! It’s been a little bit, how have you been recently?” Soon after Keith informed the whole that the two were going to be going out to the Great Plains to teach Flaurent basic combat and how to fight. A relaxing day out in the Great Plains sounded like a pleasant occasion for Tesh, seeing that the past week or so now it has been constant heavy training with Rue…he could use a little break to go back to killing some boars and possible a wolf or two, while also helping another player out in learning how to fight. “Sounds like a wonderful plan, I could really use the change of pace as well.” Tesh said to the other three. Looking over at Elpharae, “hey if you’re not too busy why don’t you tag along? We haven’t had much time to relax and talk since every time we meet up it’s always rather intense combat.” He stood there relaxed, leaning his head to the left and right to crack his neck and take a deep breath in and out as he waited for the rest of the group to get moving.

(I hope you all don't mind me joining! Sorry for the rough post!)

Taront sighed deeply, looking upwards at the digitial sky. His brown eyes reflecting the little puffs of clouds here and there. He had dreamed of adventure and heroism and the such, but ever since this death game had been announced he had done nothing. Day after day he would look for someone to help, some way to make himself useful, but so far nothing made itself present. Self-consciously, he fiddled with the rapier at his side. The weight of it had grown on him overtime. He had named it Gabriel after his grandfather, a very kind and wise man. He had hoped to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, helping others and being a light in the world, but this world was very different from the one that he had known.

The busy crowds gathering around various shops and stalls were comforting to him. It showed that there was still life and excitement even in this world. He decided he would check out the notice board once again today to try his luck. Stretching his arms above his head, he smiled and went forward. Maybe lady luck will be with me today.

Working his way through the people, the sound of laughing children rang in his ears. A small group of kids were running through the crowd like an angry nest of hornets, causing a ton of trouble as they went by. A slightly bigger and muscular man in front of Taront fell forwards as the kids shoved themselves behind him, making a bunch of noise as they darted into a nearby alley. The man careened forwards, pushing someone into a small cluster of people and causing them to flop in the middle of them. With a mutter of curse words and something along the lines of “blasted thieves”, the man charged down the alley way after the troublesome children.

Taront couldn’t help but chuckle to himself at the whole sight. It was good to see that people were still lively and having fun. His main concern was the one who had been shoved forward. He had to be sure that they were okay from such a hard blow forwards. Shoving his way through the crowd, Taront broke free and smoothed out the front of his clothes. The guy who had fallen was already on his feet, two other men were talking among themselves, all while a lone girl stood leaning against a pole staring at them all. Forcing a smile he slapped the boy who had fallen on the back, “You took a pretty hard fall there! Those kids were sure causing a ruckus today, I hope they didn’t inconvenience you. I think that man that chased after them probably gave them a stern lecture so hopefully they learn to be a little more careful.”

Keith will be on leave of absence and in all of his threads you have full permission to skip him, or play him off if you would still like full credit, or permission to close the thread as 'incomplete' to accept partial credit for the thread. A suggestion to playing him off would be for him to received a private message and have to leave in emergency, using a escape stone to leave wherever he may be. You have permissions to act on his part temporarily, but keep in mind how his character would act. (no use of his items other than the escape stone method.)
