Novanna has a soft, light olive complexion with a comforting white-tinged glow to her skin making her almost radiate light. She has big, deep round eyes the same color of an ocean with a lighter tinge near the bottom which seems to fade into a raven black color as she becomes tired. Her eyes are usually filled with a distant, warm kindness instead of a dreamy look, however that can change into a firm arrow-piercing look depending on the seriousness of her current situation. Her nose is small and slightly pointy, positioned perfectly above her soft rouge pink lips. Long, silky midnight black hair to Novanna's waist and curves inward, lining her body. Her bangs fall just past the tops of her long eyelashes, swaying in her face yet never in front of her eyes directly. She has two bangs which hang at the sides of her face, ending at the cheek and framing her face perfectly. Her hair is usually down however Novanna will put it up in a ponytail or even style it sometimes based on the event. Novanna has a lean, athletic build with curves in the right places. Adventurous, Clear-Headed, Daring. Sound familiar? If you've ever spoken to people that have mingled with Novanna, those words are popular. This girl is always looking for a new adventure and a chance to see the virtual world in which she now lives. However, with this passion comes her need to b ready for anything, which she is. In fact, she loves danger and is always diving into it head first. But there's more to this little daredevil. While she may seem intimidating and crazy from word on the street, if you actually meet her you'll see she's actually a nice girl who just likes to have fun. This doesn't mean she loves to mingle though. While she doesn't mind it, Novanna will snap if she's socialized to much and will then isolate herself for a few hours before she can socialize again.
Novanna is a very intelligent girl and knows far more than she lets on. She's always listening to what's going on around her while doing other things which allows her to know more than she should. This has proven helpful many times when she wants to put someone in a corner for one reason or the other. While she may be everything that's been told already, Novanna is actually a scary person you don't want to make angry. She is incredibly courageous and always speaks her mind in truth, never sugar coating things. She is calculating, skilled, and secretive, so you never really know if she's telling everything she knows or not. Novanna also tends to be distant from everyone, keeping even her closest friends at a distance. Novanna born as an only child to the Blackwood family which came from a line of people who started from the bottom and got to the top. Most of her ancestors had done great things, so it was only something to be expected from every generation. Her parents both had companies of their own, so pressure had been on Novanna since her birth. She was tutored at home in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade, before her parents allowed her to go to school. They had built a school for only the smartest and now that it was complete, Novanna was allowed to attend an actual school along with others kids whose parents had managed to get enough money to enroll them, or the kids had been recommended. Novanna was always top in the class, but she never bragged, yet kids who wanted to be as great hated on her because they were jealous. So in 3rd Grade her bullying years started but she never told her parents cause she didn't want to worry them. Instead, she'd lie and say that she tripped and that's how she had a bruise on her forehead or she fell into a thorn bush and that's how she got the cut on her cheek. This continued for a year, until finally Novanna broke from her shell and threatened the group of bullies. She threatened to kill them in their sleep if they hurt her again. They didn't listen of course and that night the one person committed suicide but everyone only knew she had died and immediately the bullying stopped. The group of bullies never said a word about the threat and cowered in front of Novanna since then.
Elementary school ended and that summer Novanna's parents decided to teach her their passions. Her father taught her how to fight with swords and guns while her mother taught her how to hunt and track. It was weird at first but as she got the hang of it and got better, Novanna found herself loving it. While hunting in the mountain woods one day, she came across an abandoned wolf pup and her parents allowed her to keep it after lots of discussion. They figured it would keep her safe and that's exactly what Phyre did. Novanna had named her after her middle name cause Phyre was said as Fear [but fancier sounding] and meant Fire. She thought it sounded fitting, and it was. Phyre protected Novanna from the bullies in town and became her best friend. However, a group of five kids had bats and Phyre was knocked down after a long fight and the kids made their way to Novanna. That's when she made Jared. He jumped in and fought the three kids left standing with a metal bat he had. You can guess who won. In the end, Jared helped Novanna and Phyre get home and he was accepted by the family since then. He's the only friend she never had any distance with. Middle school started and the two of them were in the same class, which they thought was awesome. Time went on, their relationship grew and by seventh grade the two were a couple.
High School started and the two were still dating. SAO came out of being rich as well as lucky, Novanna was able to snatch up two pairs. One for herself and the other for Jared. Being Beta Testers, they were especially lucky cause it wasn't exactly easy but they must have had the influence of her parents. The two got in and started and it was amazing. The two began wasting most of their free time in the game, but their relationship never faltered cause they still met up and everything within the game. Jared drifted away from Novanna once he joined his new Guild and hung out more with a girl that was part of his guild. Soon enough, Beta testing was over and others filled in quickly as the game was opened to the public. They had broke up within the Beta Testing and Novanna spent all her time in the game. Then it happened. Novanna was teleported to the Square within The Town of Beginnings and told they were trapped.
Instead of freaking out, Novanna merely found comfort in knowing she had a slim chance of seeing Jared and never would have to face the others of the real world and explain everything to them. Novanna stayed back in the town of beginnings to get herself back together and take a break from all her powering through the game. Now, she takes her time and likes to venture around the game to see all that it has to offer.
