Kyo had pulled his blade from the beast. He was standing on the borderline of the timberlines and the highlands, working his way up the highlands into some steep mountains when he was attacked by a timberwolf. He had felled the beast quite easily but carefully. He didn't have many potions from his recent travels and he began to wear thin on his col pile. He had to achieve some success without blowing all of his earnings on the bar. He continued his trek up the rocky path. A fairly strong wind was hitting as he proceeded on with a slight crouch. "Damn this place... The Great Plains were so much more enjoyable." he growled as he continued the hike. The smell of the timberwood began to fade as the smell of damp moss began to take over. Several caves could be found on either sides of him as continued his trek. Spiders eyes gleaming from within. He continued on never the less hopping that none of them would aggro to him.  His path began coming to an end as he hit the peak of the cliff. In the valley beneath he could see several giants walking. They seemed to be passing through collectively but perhaps he could fight them one at a time and farm some much needed items and resources to get stronger.  The giants were fearsome. The long scraggy hair black with disgust dragged their bodies as they walked. It was a fairly obvious they were together but perhaps with the right distraction one could pull one of them from the rest. "Damn... This whole floor is a mess." he began to dig his heel down into the edge of the cliff before placing his second foot forward into the edge, causing his body to move forward with momentum. As he slid down the cliffside he could already hear a giant aggro to him and turn to pull out a massive club. "If I just get the back of their legs I could probably destroy them." he pulled his blade out as he descended down. His blade extend far out to the right side as he began being engulfed in the purple aura signifying his signature move.

" Sometimes things are more fun with your life on the line…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Relsialle Lv5 A disembodied voice seemingly appeared from nowhere carrying a familiar accent and tone, “You know, I figured you would have picked up detection by now…” The lecturing voice of Relsialle heard from stealth, her familiar pink avatar cloaked in the familiar embrace of her stealth skill. The girl rose from a crouched, sneaking position, the shimmering outline of her form shuddering slightly as she suddenly reappeared…shedding her hidden status in a blink, a wide grin present on her sharpened features from her verbal jab. Her hand rested on her hip as she shook her head on the obviously frustrated swordsman, the girl capable of coming and going like the Cheshire cat as she pleased. “Hey now…don’t start getting all fatalistic on me hero, this place has a charm to it…and besides, if we stayed on the first floor any longer I would have went insane…” The girl continued not even dropping a beat…answering his exasperated musings as if he was speaking to her the whole time. The rogue had been tracking him for a bit for the sheer fun of it, her own short wanderings on the floor growing suddenly boring as she waited for the dungeon to finally be revealed. As the pink-haired rogue had grown in level, her role had slowly become more and more specialized, the thief archetype that she had taken slowly morphing more and more into the ideal skillset for dungeons, however it seemed in recent memory she hadn’t had the environment to test her newfound abilities just yet…for now. The girl chuckled as a giant came sprinting at Kyo, the girl lifting her boot off of the ground just enough to dart back several steps and out of the combat zone…knowing full well that her comrade was well-capable of handling the threat alone. “Don’t mind me…I’ll just hang back until your begging for your life…” The girl joked, her laughing heard over the stomps of the giant coming in for the kill. Her hand shifted to rest easy on the iron blade that hung from its home at her thigh, the weapon remaining undisturbed for the moment as she let the conflict play out…Kyo’s purple aura now shining brightly. The giants were an incredible sight to say the least, the creatures dwarfing even the kobolds of the first floor in sheer size and power. Relsialle still had not seen too many of them in action, instead favoring the spiders of the scattered caves of the region for her own efforts at leveling. Still she took it easy this time around, allowing others to forge ahead as she struggled to get her mind back right after the disastrous boss-battle that brought them here…a restful effort that had made strides as of late given the triumphant return of her care-free demeanor.

Rue had been watching the man with the dragon tattoo from above as one of the giants became aggressive to him. Rue watched as the man drew his blade and pointed it downward on his right side, I purple aura engulfed the man as the giant inched closer. Rue watched with interest at the man special arts, she could gleam information off of his fight with the giants to gain an advantage in their future duel if it came to pass. Rue noticed a shimmering form behind the man, was someone stalking him. The form soon showed it self to be her big sister to Rue's surprise. The rogues women smiled and rested her hand on her hips and looked to be teasing the man. Did she know him well, or was she following him for another reason. Rue ponder on her sister's reasons for being around such a man, he was not a person she wanted her sister to be around. Relsialle did not seem interested in helping the man as she held the hilt of her dagger and stayed back, watching the giant inched ever closer to the man as the ground quake under it's weight. Rue would hold her position above the two on a rocky terrain overlooking the coming battle. As long as Relsialle was not in any danger, Rue would not interfere with the man's fight as she will use this to learn more about her enemy. Sitting down and keeping herself out of sight of the two players Rue watched to see how skillful this man was.

[Kyo]

Kyo had been rather focused on his task at hand, not even noticing Relsialle until he already had begun his descent down the cliff side towards the giant. At that point his momentum was already in full swing and rather reply he just carried on with a grin on his face. As the Giant too charged at him he rant past quickly brandishing his blade through the Achilles tendon of the massive beast, announcing his technique as "Violet Gale" as he pass. The sound of his blade slicing through the flesh was like music to the ears when facing off with such a hulking combatant. He proceeded to roll after his quick maneuver in expectation of a delayed retaliation from the beast, skidding across the ground and quickly popping back to his feet in a turn to see the beast limp over, holding the back of its leg. Its health bar just above half. Giant (32/60) The beast let out a growl before turning over and crashing his club into the ground in front of Kyo who had gotten just out of the massive monsters reach. Kyo wiped his mouth of some fluids that came out during his stunt. 'Wow... way to look like a fool John' he thought to himself as he looked back up at Relisalle. For a brief moment he thought of calling himself John again seemed out of place. He had grown quite used to Kyo in the months that have already passed. It was almost more reactive than his own name at this point. His pondering broke as he saw someone in the background behind Relsialle as well and gave a bit of a questioned look as he pointed up behind her hoping to give her some notice. The player was too far and he had too much adrenaline kicking to make out the details of the person so he gave up trying and looked back to his foe at hand. The massive monumental man turned his body and began a slow charge, dragging his injured leg behind. Kyo rolled forward as the mastodon took a swing with its enormous club as it engulfed the ground next him and crumbling ground began to erupt into the air from the immense strength behind the blow. Dusts quickly rose as the stone-mixed earth broke from the attack. 'better not get hit- with low endurance like mine it'll be the end of me.' Kyo thought as he coughed from the lifted soils in the air. It still amazed him how this world felt. The smell of dirt never had such an impact on his life before now, it amazed him how much he missed the smell through his own nose, not this virtual one. Still, this was not the moment to think. His eyes winced as the cloud remained for quite a long time. He reacted quickly as a club came through the smoke, rolling forward and charging at the direction it came from, the position he assumed the Giant still remained in due to its injury.

" Sometimes things are more fun with your life on the line…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Relsialle Lv5 Relsialle stayed back, scraping her feet on the stony ground before perching down having picked a flat surface to rest. The ground shook slightly with every struggled step of the large giant, small pebbles rattling near her as the earth quaked slightly from the massive creature’s size. Despite all, she remained at ease, finally sitting down for a rest as she watched the combat play out as if was entertainment. Kyo even seemed relaxed at least for the moment, the girl shaking her head at the dark-haired swordsman’s technique in a faked judgmental fashion. The girl reached to finally pull her iron weapon out of the leather sheath on the bare portion of her thigh…her leg crossing over the other in the effort to maintain some remote semblance of modesty even when at times she did anything but. The weapon flicked back and forth in her hand, but still she made no effort to help her friend…at least for the moment given his success thus far. The rogue looked up just as the club crashed to the ground, showing the violence and the power that the new class of creatures fought with. Her dagger seemed unconsciously idle, flicking to her nails to pick at the gathered dirt for the moment…digging slightly with the narrow sharpened point. Her crystal blue gaze popped up to examine how Kyo had done this far, a shade of surprise coming over her as he had only progressed so much in that short span, “Losing your edge there hero! Oh there you go…” The club once more sailing to impact the earth…”You should have had him there! That’s what you get for dancing with him!” The girl teased, clearly enjoying the show for the moment. The thief seemed preoccupied with the entertainment to pay any attention to any gestures from Kyo at this point…the smoke, dust, and noise of the clash keeping her attention rather than any hidden observers nearby. The pink-haired musician shook her head once more in a feign exaggeration of pity, unconsciously on stand-by if the combat grew any more intense or if it turned for the worse, besides she had gotten so used to intervening at every point it seemed a much needed break to watch someone else work for once…especially given the humorous commentary that seemed to slip from her lips naturally.

Rue watched as the man dodged the charging giant and used his art to slice across the giant's Achilles tendon. If this were real the giant would be unable to stand on that leg. Rue noted that when his blade glows violet he will dash with a two pronged attack, this will be useful if they come to blows. It seems that the giant continued to fight with vigor, swinging it's hulking club at the man. He seemed fairly nimble, at least nimble enough to avoid the giant's attacks. Even from here Rue could hear the loud cracks of the earth. Watching the man as he rolled around in the dirt like a pig or a circus act, Rue turned her attention to Relsialle. She was resting on a nearby flat surface watching the man, and taunting him. While it was not uncommon for her playful older sister to tease other. Her relaxed action when a enemies were nearby and could attack her without warning worried the younger sister. Keeping low as not to tip the two off that she is watching them, Rue made her way closers to the rested rouge. She was not the stealthiest as the dirt and rock scattered with her every step. Luckily the giant's steps and club masked the sounds of her movement as she moved behind the rouge and closes to the action. From her she was still raised above them, but not as much. There was less cover then where she had been before. If they turned to look behind them, she would not have much in the way of cover to hid herself with. However she was much closer to Relsialle, just in case the giant decided to attack the resting rouge, Rue could intercept and protect her just in case. The fight still carried on as the man had dodged in past the giant's weapon effectiveness range. He seemed to have good instincts, however his movements was sloppy and not one of a trained fighter he was obviously self taught.

[Kyo]

Kyo had been ready to end this. He was no longer paying any attention to his rouge punk-rocker ally and the person behind. He had hopped his gesture had given her enough notice but than again he never really thought of Relsialle to be be one to get pounced on like prey. She was always the one doing the stalking from the shadows.  Quickly Kyo charged in the front of his opponent. Exactly where he shouldn't be. The massive creature lifted his club heavily over head as Kyo held his sword up in front of himself. He closed his eyes and held his head against his blade. Purple glow began spiraling through the air fully wrapping itself around Kyo this time. It was clearly not the same technique used before as his body began resembling his sword from his prior stunt. His eyes opened as the club came down through the air, splitting the wind itself under its hulking mass. An even louder crash than the prior had occurred as the club clearly struck true hitting its mark, the black haired swordsman made little to no effort to dodge. Under the smoke and dust of the collision one would still see that purple aura through the air and Kyos blade held against the massive club, looking quite precarious in a fashion that looked far too illogical to be real as the little man held under the weight of the club seemed to be perfectly fine- in fact- it begun to appear as if he was winning. The club slowly began struggling in place as it slowly was pushed back before Kyo ascended into the air behind it forcing the club back into its owner, Kyos target. The giant had toppled backwards under the force of the swing dropping his club and crashing down to the ground. The world felt as if it shook in entirely. The grounds nearing the hill rolled down despite being untouched. Kyos purple blade began to wane in color as well as his armor as he leaped into the air and dropped his sword into the monsters skull. He quickly pulled his blade back from the monsters skull and jumped back before realizing his health bar had hit zero already. The spectacular illumination of the blue particles bursting through the air had quickly replaced the ashen dust that covered the air only moments before. Kyo had smiling clicking the accept button on his rewards before beginning his hike back up the hill towards where Relsialle had been. The angled he scaled from prevented him from seeing what had taken place up top with the stranger by Relsialle. "Every okay up there?" he asked aloud as he nearly reached the peak.

" Sometimes things are more fun with your life on the line…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Relsialle Lv5 Relsialle grinned as Kyo struggled momentarily, obviously distracted by the chiding and teasing of the restful rogue, her hand lifted off of her dagger as it rested on her other thigh…reflexively playing with the tab on the pouch that held the light green moss stone needles that were freshly purchased from Sasha at her small shop in Port Noir. The weapons were well made, lighter and more balanced than the calcum weapons they replaced…However still she hadn’t had the opportunity to try them out yet on their newest floor to conquer. Her fingers pinched at the buckle and prying it to the side, finally sliding a thin throwing weapon into her exposed palm on impulse. Her ears perked up slightly as the sound of rocks shifting caught her attention, thinking it was a result of the large bulk of the giant staggering in the fray…her senses discarding the stimuli for now as the entertainment kept her occupied with the matter at hand. The Irishwoman grinned as the monster finally fell…an excessive amount of pixelated information spewing forth from tis fallen form, mirroring its large size and weight…the dust cloud forcing her to cough as she lifted her trademark scarf to cover her mouth and nose. “About damn time!” The girl teased once more, rising up to her feet once more now that Kyo turned to move back up the small hill where she was perched. “If you wanted to show off you could have done a better job…” The final sentence coming from the pink-haired rogue muffled from the fabric. Her ears perked once more as Rue settled into place nearby, the unknown presence finally catching her full attention just as Kyo took notice himself of their unknown visitor. The thin throwing needle flew free from her hands as it fired from her fingers like a bullet…the weapon harmlessly boreing half-way into one of the medium sized loose rocks that gave her younger sister cover. The sound of the weapon was sudden, a loud crack loud enough to echo along the now quiet hill top. “Alright, enough staring at the pretty girl you perv…come on out!” Relsialle’s accent voice ordered, a wicked grin forming with her words…still unaware of who or what the unknown presence intended…

Rue watched as the man purple glow formed around him again as the wind swirled around with as the giant's club came down on him. Blocking the club with the sword, the force of the giant's attack blew rock and dust across the field. This was not the same attack as he did prior. It seemed to be a counter or defensive buff. Pushing the giant back and causing it to fall, he jumped into the air and slashed downward finishing the massive giant off. Rue took note of his second art, this stated that he had to be at least a level four or higher. With the fight at an end the man turned towards the rouge and herself. Doing the best she can to hide from the mans sight as he walked closers to them. Unfortunately she was not made for stealth and a pin buried itself halfway into the rock she had been using as cover. Her sister spoke with her iconic playful nature as she joked about the smaller girl, being a perv as she watched them. Rue paused at the older girl's words, and the surprise of the pin pricing that deep into the rock. Sighing as trying to play it off as no one was there would only make the situation worse. Moving out of her hiding place, the sounds of her calcum plate mail would clink together and her chainmail rang lightly as she moved. Pulling the stone moss pin out of the stone, Rue jumped down off of her elevation. Her black leather faulds and scarf that was tied around her waist lifted up with the sudden change of altitude. Flapping back down and smoothing out more with the black leather breast plate. Walking over to her sister she handed her pin back to her, and smiled. " Is it wrong for your younger sister to admire her big sister from time to time". Added her own playful retort back at her, Rue eyes narrowed as she focused on the man in front of them. He voice become more serious in tone as she spoke, " In all honest I was gather information on that man over there. I was surprised to see that you seemed to know each other". Placing her hand on the hilt of her sword. " How well do you know this man Relsialle". Rue's eyes burned into the man as she readied herself to attack him, and put and end to him for good this time.

As Kyo reach the height of the cliff as he saw Relsialle throw the needle behind herself. She must have only just now noticed the person he had tried to warn her of. Quickly he charged forward as she called out to the person requesting they had shown themselves. Kyo was quick to put a grip on his blade.  He was rather impressed of the marksmanship of Rel. After all she just pierced a rather far stone with a rather small needle, and managed to have enough power behind it to literally pierce the rock. Quickly he moved forward towards their stalker still with a hand on the grip of his sword.  When Rue appeared from behind the rock Kyo had looked rather curious, turning back towards Relsialle. "You didn't plan this..." a light pause. "Did you?" he looked bewildered at the thought especially as he offered to go and meet Rue with Relsialle only days before. He wouldn't have expected her to arrange it without his knowledge, especially seeing as he didn't even plan to meet her here today. His grip released from his sword as Rue approached.  Rather than reply to her question Kyo just dropped to the ground crossing his legs in a resting position. He took note of he hand placed on the blade but resorted to letting Relsialle answer the question seeing as last time Kyo tried reasoning with Rue things went sour fast. 'I guess they haven't talked since that night...' he thought to himself as he waited for the Knight to again make claims against him, at the very least she would be able to notice he was a green player again, reconciled for his transgressions he had already committed.

A wide smile crossed her sharpened features as her throwing hand draped on her hip, a soft laugh hear emanating from her throat. Rue was capable, that much was true, but she was anything but stealthy and as small as she was the armor and shield she was known for would be a dead giveaway…especially at the art that Relsialle had made a name in using. “Aye…wanting to be good at sneaking too then?” The Irishwoman teased, offering a quick wink at the white haired teen. “But I know, I’m just so gorgeous everyone has to sneak a peek from time to time…only natural…” The crafty rogue laughed at her own remark, obviously not being as conceited as it implied, but merely extending the banter that had been rattled off in the back and forth between the two sisters. The girl had never quite believed Kyo’s story in the tavern but the moment that Rue’s voice turned dark, she knew that something had indeed occurred between her two closest friends…”Hold on now, I know that tone…I won’t go having my friends run off and kill each other…” The kunoichi ordered, her crystal blue eyes narrowing slightly at the questioning from the younger girl. “No information worth gathering anyways…Kyo is about as clean as a hospital floor, bit of a bleeding heart, but not worth chasing if you’re out trying to play vigilante.” The pink-haired musician turned to look at Kyo, her eyes flicking over the green morality icon that hanged over his head, her head shaking to confirm that she hadn’t set the encounter in motion… “Man is a first floor clearer too and saved a few in the raid while he was at it,” Relsialle defended, turning back to Rue, stepping in between the two, “Keep that damn sword where it belongs and lets go get something to eat…” It seemed strange and slightly off putting that the sower of the most chaos happened to strangely be the voice of reason, but none the less the battle between the two strongest players she knew would mean nothing but insanity…

" No that is your area of expertise my darling sister. If I took that away from you, you would have nothing on your little sister". Throwing a tease right back at the older women. This was common for the two as the are just as close as sister, but blood only separates them. Rue's brow furrowed at the man's action and words. What did he mean? Looking to Relsialle curiously, their was no way she could of plan this as she did not know the small girl's movements. What did she speak with him about, who close were they? Her sister had gave her pause as she knew all to well what her change in look and tone meant. The mention of not having friends kill each other was hardly sound. As the man would be the only casualty, unfortunately it seems she would be unable to solve their dispute. Looking away from the man, towards her sister. Her eyes were narrowed, it reminded her of the time when they first met how she looked at her. Softening at the look, Rue did not what to be looked at by her in that way. " He acted a bit rash, in his attempt to help another. I know he is not a bad person, this is nothing to hold a grudge about". The mention of him being a floor clearer means that she will most likely have to cooperate with him in the future. The fact that her older sister was willing to defend him with her body was more then enough, for her to be ride of her selfish thoughts. Taking her hand off of her hilt, Rue looked at her sister sheepishly. " I will be willing to let bygones be bygones, if we could talk about what had happened over food like Relsialle had suggested. We should not fight and put her through this or I would have no right to call her my sister". Moving past her sister, Rue's amber eyes were softer and more akin to honey as she held out her hand to the man.

Kyo was shocked how quickly her demeanor changed from Relsialles words. He was more shocked that she got between them to protect him. Kyo smiled getting up off the ground where he sat, dusting his knees off when he heard her comments about him- Cleaner than a hospital floor? The bleeding heart title seemed to stick harder than he would ever imagine.  Rue approached with an arm extended and Kyo blinked for a moment. It was amazing, like a whole new person when she didn't have something against him. Perhaps she wasn't that bad after all. He also extended his hand to commence a shake giving a nod of approval before turning to Relsialle. "Got any place in mind?" he offered the question assuming it'd be another pub but wasn't too sure his body fully recuperated from their last alcohol experience. After all- last time it seems Kyo had drunk himself under the table, especially when the others stopped drinking.
