"Never Falter Never Look Back!"
| Rue walked through the halls of the empty dungeon of the first floor. Sure you could teleport to the second floor, but you might be in a higher level area then your suppose to be in when you leave the town. The familiar musty wet stone walls and floors were filled with memories of brushes with death and where she found two of her very close friends. Walking past the open doors and looted chests and abandoned camps, Rue looked to the floors and walls that were once filled with traps and monsters looking for their next meal. It was almost sad that she will never come back, and that the friends and memories were real, but in a imagined world does what happen here matter. Moving into a open room where the boss once was Rue sighed as she lamented her lost at the experience and items that she could of gained if she was there. She had heard of the group that fought illfang. Rue clenched her teeth and hand as she felt anger that she could do nothing while her friends were fighting a dangerous boss. Some of the players lost their lives fighting it, if Relsialle or Janeiro died while she could do nothing, but watch she would never be able to live with herself. Rue would make a metal note to talk about what had happened here with Relsialle and Janeiro losing a comrade in battle is a hard thing to take with stride. Walking past the room and leaving the past behind Rue made her way up the old and worn stone steps. They say that the journey can not begin without a single step, but the creators made the path up to the second floor a bit to long. As the girl walked up the dark and empty steps, all that could be heard was the sounds of her feet hitting the stone steps. Looking up she could see a light emanating from the doorway to the next floor. Speeding her steps Rue made her way towards the entrance, the travel would make the sight more enjoyable to see once again even if they are trapped in this game of death. Exiting and feeling the breeze on her face and the taste of fresh air on her mouth and nose. Rue took in a deep breath as she surveyed her surroundings. The highlands were just as they were when she tested it. The strong winds made her skit and hair flutter in the wind and it angled through the pockets on small caverns and low crags in the ground. The wind howled and whistled as it drifted through holes and caves in the open, but rocky plains. On the horizon Rue could see wolves hopping over canyons and one falling into the pit to become food for the spiders. Giants shook the earth as they roamed in groups fighting other clans for dominance. |
