In light of a recent issue we've been having with post troubles, a new rule will be applied to help create a requirement for additional word count without actually REQUIRING a word count per post. This will allow you to have short posts where due but still need at least something to claim a reward at the end.
Killing creatures requires action, it creates emotion, it has sounds, visuals, ect. There is no reason why a post should say "I hit the boar and it died" and then rinse and repeat 20 times. For this point on, if a players post does not equate to the amount of experience received for killing the opponent, the opponents xp as well as drops will be void.
This means that if you kill a boar, which rewards 25 experience, you MUST meet the word length requirement to also reach 25 experience. This is 250 words. If you have a 2000 word thread, with 10 boars slain (250 experience) you will NOT received 10 boars worth of rewards, as that is only 200 xp worth of text.
Most of you do not have to even worry about this as it does not apply to most, but try to posts to a higher quality so people have something to reply to. You do not need to actually word count yourself, but if you are one hitting boars without crazy detail, chances are you aren't getting that boars drop chances. To try and keep yourself in check, we recommend having at least 2-3 posts per kill and try to keep the posts in greater detail. A new player starting out probably wouldn't even succeed at killing 20 boars in one trip, they would need to return to town to recover.
Also always remember in a thread with no GM involvement YOU CAN CONTROL THE CREATURES. Let it attack you, get roughed up a bit. The game has challenge to it, it is not as easy as a swipe of a sword and everything is dead. Doing this also will greatly increase your word count!
