Effect: Astiam can use this technique against two opponents at the most. If it’s only used against opponent the target receives a succession of four attacks within one turn. Each respective hit equals out to a regular attack from Astiam. This technique can at most be divided between two targets with each receiving two strikes from him. The damage done to them is also on the level of a normal attack from Astiam.
This technique; however, takes a toll on Astiam’s body and for the next to turn his attributes are temporarily a point lower than they usually would be. The only exception is if the attribute is already at one then it stays at one. The cooldown for this skill is seven turns.
Trigger: Astiam stands with his body sideways towards his target(s), his left foot leading. His knees are slightly bent with most of his weight placed on his right foot. His sword’s tip barely touches the ground as he lets it hang behind him. His breath slows down to a slow, controlled pace.
Description: Great concentration can be seen in Astiam’s demeanor, with his controlled breathe and unwavering gaze. Suddenly, like sprung off from a spring, Astiam launches himself into a straight out sprint, his sword dragging along the ground. As he nears the target or the first of his targets a pale yellows light blossoms at the tip of his blade and shoots up the length of his blade, almost like lighting. The first strike is the only visible one with Astiam bringing the blade up in a diagonal slash. Everything after that is a blur of motions, with only a sound similar to the crack of thunder to indicate when his opponent was hit.
[Personality]
Astiam is not a complete douchebag. Even though he had basically left his old life behind when he was accepted into the preeminent of his secondary school’s social population, there is still a little bit of his old life clinging to him. He is not the most arrogant individual you could met; however, you can tell he rarely questions himself or his actions. Hot-headiness is another trait that fits him perfectly, due mostly to the rough nature of rugby. Astiam is a social butterfly, charismatic as they come and able to connect with anyone. Under all that jock though is an inquisitive soul that loves getting lost in MMORPGs. He loves MMORPGs, because it allows him to become someone else and do things he would never do in real life. Astiam is a lot of contradictions; however, that only makes him a better person.
[Biography]
Astiam could be called a late bloomer of sorts. It was during his tenth year that he finally left that younger, awkward stage of life behind. He grew a couple inches, topping at about 6 foot and an inch; his body had slimmed out and his shoulders broaden. At the end of it all, he was a completely different person physically; however, mentally he was the same awkward younger self he was the years previously. He was suddenly picked up from the lowers levels of the social life in his tiny English town to the peak. Girls that wouldn’t give him a second glance the year previously were now following him at his coattails, basically begging him to take them out on a date. It was a strange and different way of living for him.
It did not take him long though to get used to this sudden promotion in popularity, and he began diving into new things. He found that he was suddenly much more capable at the game cricket, and soon became a star player on the school’s team. He spent most of his nights on the weekend with the rest of the popular kids at his secondary school partying, drinking anything they could manage to scavenge up. No matter how much he changed though he could not get rid of every part that was his old self.
He was still a gamer in his heart, and whenever he found time in his hectic schedule he would sit down and try to get a few hours in on the newest MMORPG he acquired. It was this joy of MMORPGs that got him to try to Sword Art Online, and end up in this shitty situation.
