Palatine's Faith
Effect
Palatine's Faith has an impressive speed due to the lightness and has a 4 hit combo
Trigger
Left foot forward, pointed, right foot behind, facing right, on the toes, as if about to take off and run. Body crouching slightly, the left arm is curved inward, towards the chest, the right arm, with the hand holding the sword is positioned down at an angle, except the hand holds the sword so the tip faces an upward angle. The arm and sword's angles combined should look something like a V. The blade's sharp edge should be facing the target, the sword glows white and the system takes over.
Description
When the sword is held it makes the user feel a bit lighter, it has a very soft transparent white glow and is cool to the touch, like the cold side of a pillow on a hot night.
[Personality]
Elleanor is a little detached and was, almost regretfully, a Beta-Tester, so the shock of not being able to logout was very stressful for her, seeing as she'd always been a gamer who saw dieing as one of the minor problems in her games, Ellie's mindset was very violently changed and the fact that she has to fight for her life all the time is really nerve racking. Elleanor is a little tight with new people as she's constantly worrying about literal murderers in the game and so she tends to be pretty quiet, due to this she avoids crowds whenever possible, also an effect from her major anxiety on being killed. Sometimes she'll have small panic attacks when surrounded by lots of people. This may ease off as she levels.
When fighting, Ellie likes to get in as many hits as possible while receiving the least possible amount of hits herself, she actually prefers attacking at the same time or really close to the same time as her party members instead of performing alone for a longer amount of time by herself, this is due to a slightly selfish mindset that falls along the lines of 'maybe it'll hit them instead of me' but it also helps to make it a little more difficult to target a set player. In real life, Ellie is a lot more laid back, seeing as being killed is seemingly a lot less likely there, probably a lot less painful, and in the real world the majority of people don't carry around swords.
[Biography]
Ellie actually did a lot of fencing and kendo as she grew up, which makes her a little more handy with a sword and probably is the reason why she prefers lighter weapons. Elleanor's pass time has always been gaming and when she wasn't doing homework or practicing her sports, she was usually off in her room living in a virtual reality. Ellie was one of the 1,000 beta testers and did exactly that, testing, so she never took the game too seriously and was killed a lot as she explored recklessly, vowing that she'd take the game seriously when the game was actually released, who'd've known 'seriously' would become so literal.
Ellie was actually originally not going to go into SAO the day it was released, as to avoid so many new players in the base spawn point where she was located, and thinking about how close she was to not being in this mess makes her a little snappy. But she's not so weak as to live in a house and wait for someone to complete the game.
Outside her virtual life, Elleanor is pretty basic, a B average student with two working parents and a brother who's usually off with friends. She's always been pretty antisocial but has a lot of friends within fencing and kendo, where she's a rather successful student and can defeat most of her opponents. Elleanor is someone who doesn't know quite yet what they want to be when they're older and has probably never had an actual interest in relationships.
Virtual reality is Ellie's escape from her boring life. She wanted to use it to have fun and throw something interesting into her day but instead she trapped herself in a world where death means death and to survive you need to defeat giant monsters, not the ideal life setting.
