Kyo Lv.5 | Kyo quickly readied himself as the two spiders broke off from the group to directly attack him. He pulled his sword rapidly to a familiar stance he often took as it began to shimmer a brilliant violet. He gave his party a quick nod before charging his opponents with a battle roar as he released his sword art. "Violet Gale!" he shouted from the top of his lungs, loud enough to echo through the dark cave. His sword shimmered bright as he quickly darted to attack his foes- left then right he made his two swings motioning forward with one swing, then adjusting his body and rotating in place rooting his right foot as a ground to keep him from falling as he used his full bodies force to spin and swing for the second, attempting to fell both his foes with a single sword art delivering an attack at each of them. As he spun around he turned to ready for retaliation in case his sword did not strike quite a true as he had hoped. His feet shuffled raising dirt in their path, hand to the back of the blade protecting him for any immediate danger or at least he had hoped. "Careful guys! I don't these are the regular ones from the floor above!" he said quickly looking on to his spider opponents. These were tougher advisaries then he had seen prior on the highlands above, however, they weren't even close to as tough as the other spider-men he had the luxury of fighting down here. These were still the small fries. He knew this trap was laid by the female arachnoid. The one who spoke. It was intelligent. Traps, planning, minions. This wasn't like anything he had ever seen before, this was- a challenge. He felt this alone wouldn't be the most compromising moment of his sword art experiences, but it terrified him that this level of programming AI happened here on the second floor. If this was what awaits them here, what would happened on the floors above? If the game had to progressively get harder, that would mean smarter AI too, no? Perhaps this wasn't really the time to get caught in thought though- He held his stance, ready for the worst. Alexx had trained for just these moments. He quickly bashed one of the spiders as it made a move into him with his shield, repelling the attack entirely, before moving to the other to make a quick snap of the wrist propelling his blade in its direction. He had hoped to make a swift end of these opponents looking to become re-acquainted with friends of the past. "Where the hell's Targon!?" he yelled looking over to his ally who rose his shoulders gesturing he hadn't had the slightest idea. Grant had swiftly leaped up and impaled his spear down at the spider trying to redirect its position closer to Alexx. The other two landed glancing blows on him as he made his descent hitting him for a small portion of his health, red scars glimmering over his armor symbolic for the damage received. The two wanted to work as a team rather then individuals here, it seemed to be how they've grown accustom to fighting. The two quickly positioned themselves back to back establishing a grounds which enemies could not make it into without being hit by a fierce retaliation. Lv. 6 Alexx (80/80) Lv. 5 Grant (54/65) *I dunno what you plan for this thread Ari, but I do have another NPC I planned to slip into this one. Ya'know Zeroths out of the picture and I have other plans for Pen so a prominent party of 3 is needed I'll slip him in later tho.* |
