Dan had heard all the things Takita had been mumbling under her breath but didn't think much of them, dismissing them as friendly sentiments she was too embarrassed to share. He also caught her teary, hazel eyes but dismissed them as well, figuring that it was an effect of his story. Takita then pointed a short distance away, saying that a particular boar was the best target as it was all alone, and he agreed. She would let Dan take the lead on this one, saying "Gentlemen first." He laughed with her, finding it amusing that she was copying his words from earlier. He paused for a moment though to admire her short little laugh. He thought it as very cute and fit her perfectly. He blushed and tried to stay focused on the mission, turning and heading towards the boar, gesturing for Takita to follow. When they were close enough Dan turned to the girl saying. "Alright, we'll switch in and out like last time." With that he pulled his rapier from his sheath and began to circle the beast, waiting for an ample opportunity to strike. The boar had tilted its head down to nibble at some grass and Dan decided this was a perfect opening and tightened his grip on the hilt and charged, piercing its leg. The beast squealed in pain then turned and snorted in anger, charging and trying to gore him. He tried to dodge to the side but he was a bit too slow the beasts tusks caught him in the side and he grunted as he began spinning a bit, a small portion of his health disappearing. He steadied himself and readied for the next attack. The animal had turned around and snorted triumphantly and charged again, hoping to repeat it's results. But Dan was ready this time, he managed to dodge to the side and sliced his blade down the boar's back dropping it down to the yellow. Seeing this he disengaged, yelling "Switch!"

As Pure guestured for her to follow him, in the direction of the boar. She put her hands behind her back as she hummed on a song she often heard as a little girl. When he told her that they were going to do as last time, using the feature «Switch» she nodded in agreement that it worked best that way.

She followed him with her eyes as his Raiper pierced the boar's leg, making it squeal. Takita shivered as the squeal was loud and high-pitched, almost hurting her ears. When the boar charged in his direction and Pure failed to doge.

Takita tightened the grip around the hilt of her weapon as Pure took damage from the boar. Her face slackened; her brow furrowed - eyes darting about in concern. When Takita glanced to the corner of her eye, his health-bar was visible for her. The amount of health he lost wasn't huge compared to her own.

As Pure yelled «Switch», She readjusted her grip on the Raiper, let out a fierce battle cry as she raced towards the enemy, holding her weapon closer to her as she approached the boar. Effectively drawing its attention, Takita jabbed at the boars head as it was facing her. Sparks flew as the tip of her weapon clashed with the surprisingly hardened tusk that protected the beast’s face. However, due to her momentum, the blade slid and slashed the side of it's face, causing it to grunt in indignation.

A long, crimson gash appeared on the mob’s face as it's health bar went further into the yellow zone. The boar shook it's head violently a few times as it tried to get back it's vision on it's left eye, where Takita's blade slashed it. As the boar charged in her direction.
'' Oh shit'' she mumbled, sprinting away from the pursuing beast, it’s hot, rancid breath blowing down the back of her neck.

When she managed to create a little distance between the two, she rolled to her left to avoid the direct hit, as the boar went for another hit, she held her rapier infront of her body and closed her eyes as the boar ran into her sharp blade, dealing critical damage. The baor gave away another painful squeal as she pulled her Raiper away, rolled backwards and looked at Pure in the corner of her eye.
'' Switch! '' she yelled as she left the last hit for him to take.

The boar's health was in the red, thanks to Takida's efforts. Dan charged the beast and tried to end the battle swiftly with a slice to its neck. The boar however saw him coming and moved out of the way of his strike. The boy frowned and grit his teeth as he moved around for another strike, this time with his Sword Art. Unfortunately the time it took to prepare his strike was too long and gave the boar enough time to strik him in the gut. The warrior grunted as the wind was knocked out of him and was thrown to the ground. Sparing no time he quickly rolled away as the boar brought its tusks down to crush him. He rolled onto his feet and dashed at it, thrusting the tip of his blade into the back of the beast's neck. I let out another high pitched squeal, this time, mixed with a gurgling sound as it's health bar completely depleted. After a few short moments, the boar broke into a bunch of tiny polygons, indicating its death. Dan relaxed as he leaned on his sword, breathing heavliy. He turned to Takita, and smiled, laughing nervously. "Man, that was a close one huh?" He called out to the girl, trying to make light of the situation.

When the two warriors switched places, Takita landed on her knee still with a firm grip of her Raiper. When Pure charged towards the beast, the idea that it would be a quick end took place in Takita's mind. But she got quickly proven wrong as the boar avoided his attack and as a counter attack, the boar struck him in the stomach.

Fear grasped hold of the girl as she witnessed Pure getting thrown to the ground and as the boar tried to crush him with it's powerful tusks, luckily he managed to quickly roll to the side as the boars tusks hit the ground, shreading the grass underneath it. Takita wanted to jump in but the thought of her making a mistake that would result into the boar killing him held her back as she watched in fear, fear of losing him already.

As the mob shattered into shards of polygons after a deadly attack from Pure, Takita ran towards the man and hugged him tightly as he leaned on his sword. She burried her head into his shirt as she gave away a weak laugh as he tried to lighten up the situation.
'' If the tusks would have hit you... '' she started but instead just shook her head as her ears picked up his heartbeat. 

She could feel how her cheeks started to burn from the embarrassment crawling up on her as she hugged him. That's when she realised how close they were to each other. Takita cleared her throat as she realised that she was invaiding his personal space, what if it would cause him to dislike her? Before her overthinking could continue, she started speaking again in an attempt to explain herself.
'' You owe me this hug for not being careful enough.. ''  she mumbled as her cheeks only got redder.

Dan stiffened briefly as Takita ran up to him and wrapped her arms around him in a hug, nearly knocking him over. He quickly regained his balance though and returned the hug, dropping his sword, his cheeks burning. 'This is normal he thought. 'We're friends, friends hug each other after a near-death experience, right? Right.' Despite his thoughts, he felt a warmth envelope him and he melted into the hug. Dan chuckled as Takita said that he owed her the hug. He could deal with that. He stood there for a few minutes enjoying the hug, before pulling back, disengaging himself from the hug. Coughing nervously into his hand. as the sun began slowly sinking over the horizon. "So um... Is it, is it ok if we stop for now? I don't like fighting with my health in the yellow, and I don't have any healing items. Besides that, the sun is going down." He pointed at the beautiful sunset and stood there for a few moments, admiring its beauty.

Takita look at him as he asked if it was okay that they stopped. She nodded since none of them own an item for healing and it would be dangerous for Pure to take any hits at this point.
'' I wouldn't really let you fight with your health at Yellow.'' she said with a serious voice as her eyes glared at him, she knew that he wouldn't but what harm did it make to repeat it?

As he pointed to the sunset that was going down, Takita closed her eyes while putting a lock of hair behind her ear. Putting her Raiper back as she watched the sun's beautiful colours take place in the skye above them.
'' We could always stick around and watch the sunset together. If it wouldn't be too dangerous. '' she said as she look at him. Pure was her comfort in a world like theirs. Someone she could enjoy the small things with. But even small things like a sunset could be dangerous. Especially with monsters around that wants to kill you.

Takita hummed quietly as she looked around to make sure that no boar or PK:er noticed them. When the plains was clear from danger, she returned her eyes to Pure as he stood next to her. The weak sunlight from the sunset looked pretty on his skin. She chuckled before she nudged him with her elbow.
'' Maybe a snack would be safer? It's up to you. '' she said with a smile.

Dan smiled as Takita asked if they could watch the sunset or go get something to eat. He smiled glad that they could continue hanging out. He really enjoyed her company but he'd probably enjoy it more if they weren't in such a dangerous location. "We can go get something to eat." He chuckled and grinned, nudging Takita back. "You can pay me back for the meal from last time. Come on." He reached for her hand unconsciously but quickly stopped himself and took hold of her wrist instead, pulling her along to the nearest restaurant. He needed to handle this, but he didn't know how. He liked the girl but he didn't want to say anything, too nervous, too afraid of being rejected. So instead he decided to spend his time trying to get to know her. Hopefully, this dinner would help with that and help ease his nerves.

'' Wouldn't be as dangerous. But a meal sounds great after today's hard work. '' she said with a smile. Takita noticed how Pure reached for her hand but stopped himself and grabbed her wrist instead. A chuckle left her lips as she covered them with her free hand. She found it cute how he acted around her, made the world seem more.. normal. Less deadly.

'' Same Inn as the first time we met? '' Takita asked as tilted her head, walking next to him towards the much familiar town that for the past few months have been their home. But the structre and surroundings started to become boring to the teenage girl. Hopeful thoughts about being able to progress to the 2nd floor was something she's been hoping for a long time. But in reality, she was to weak to survive in the harsh environment that the 2nd floor was offering.

Dan hummed in thought thinking about where to take Takita. He considered taking her back to the inn where they first met but then remembered that the food was very bland. Then he grinned and pulled started moving faster making his way to the nearest teleport. "You'll see." He wasn't sure if the girl had been to the second floor yet but he decided to take her there anyway. The quality of the food would no doubt be better than the meals on the first floor. Once they got to the teleporter he covered her eyes smiling. "No peeking!" He said before activating the teleport. The warmth of floor was quickly replaced with a cool breeze coming off of the lake and the sounds of water lapping at the sides of the village . The sun had set by now, and the star had begun coming out, the fishing village of Port Noir lit up and active with its nightlife. He quickly uncovered Takita's eyes and gestured all around them. "Ta da!"

Takita chuckled as he covered her eyes and told her not to peak, all kinds of thoughts appeared in her mind as she held her hands ontop of his, she smiled as she softly hugged them without taking them away from her eyes.
'' I won't '' she said as a bright light shined through Pure's hands that was covering her eyes. His hands felt warm against her skin as the warmth from the first floor disappeared and got replaced by a chilly wind.

The sound of waves and water approching the sides of something that could be a village made her question where they were. As far as she could remember, there was no such thing on the first floor. But then again, Takita haven't seen much of the enormus floor that was open for her to explore.

When his hands uncovered her eyes, Takita gasped. She knew very well now that they left the first floor and it was more beautiful then the rumors have told her. Takita grabbed his hands and gave away a happy laugh before she realeased them and ran down from the teleport platform. She spinned around with her arms out, laughing. The cool breeze made her cheeks rosy and her hair covered her face.
'' I can't believe it! You're amazing! '' she said as her voice were cracking from the lack of breath.

Takita stod still and looked at him, leaning slightly forwards with her hands behind her back. Knowing he had a plan for the two of them.
'' I don't know what to say.. other then lead the way. ''

Dan smiled as Takita ran down from the teleporter and began spinning, the wind weaving through her hair and darkening her cheeks. He stood there, admiring how pretty she looked just now. He was glad he'd done this now. After staying on the first floor for so long, a change of scenery could do wonders. She ran back up to him smiling widly. He blushed though as she called him amazing. He kicked the floor lightly looking down. "'S no big deal. I knew you didn't like the floor's food so I thought I'd take you somewhere nicer." He shrugged simply as she told him to lead the way. He began leading her, this time though, he grabbed her hand without thinking, leading her through the village. The pair walked along the streets some lamps strung up on polls lighting their way. Dan shivered slightly as the wind blew in from the lake again. Without the sun to warm the air, it was much cooler now. He turned to Takita and asked, "Are you cold?" He asked as he shivered once more.

Takita looked at him with her soft eyes as he kicked the floor underneath him as he continued to make it seem like taking her to the first floor wasn't as much of a big deal. She thought it was a nice gesture and it was nice being able to experience something like this with someone she cared about.

As the two left the teleport spawn behind them and started walking along the streets, Takita looked around as she hugged Pure's warm hand, gently stroking it with her thumb as she was humming happily. At the first floor, the nights were unpleasnt and somewhat scary with the howl of dire wolfs outside the gates. But in a wonderful place like this, it was calming to hear the nature around her as the street lamps spread light over the streets, creating a feeling of nostalgia when thought Takita never lived by the ocean in her real life.

During their walk to their destination, the cold wind from the lake nearby approched them. Takita moved closer to Pure as she held down her skirt to keep it from blowing up. Just the thought of the incident happening gave her a second hand embarrassment. When he asked if she were cold, Takita hesitated before she slowly nodded.
'' A little bit.. But don't worry about me. '' she said as a cold shiver went down her legs that was left uncovered.

Dan frowned as Takita said that she was a little cold and saw that her skirt was flapping around a bit in the wind. He let go of her hand and opened his inventory, scrolling through the numerous items there until he found the one he wanted. He tapped on it twice, making it appear before him in his hands. It was a long dark brown cloak that went down to the knees. He'd bought it a while ago because he heard rumors that the third floor was supposed to be colder. He quickly undid the button in the front and wrapped it around Takita's shoulders before buttoning it up again. He smiled as he gazed at her again. The cloak was much too big for her and she was basically swimming in the material. He thought that she looked incredibly cute and thought about maybe letting her keep it. "Is that better?" He asked.

Takita watched Pure as he seemed to have opened his menu that for her was invisable, as he tapped twice. An oversized brown coat appeared in front of him. As Pure undid the button and wrapped it around her, Takita burried thel ower part of her face into the fabric that felt soft against her skin, making only her eyes and forehead visible as she flapped the arms that clearly wasn't fitting her as they were too long and big compared to her small body figure.

'' I'm a seal.'' she said as Takita tried to make her voice sound darker but failed as she only ended up sounding like a kid.It didn't take long before she started laughing and wrapped her hands around Pure's arm, leaning her cheek against him. 

'' What about you? Aren't you cold? '' she asked with a worried tone of voice, since he offered her his coat, she didn't want him to suffer from it. Especially not when the weather seemed to get worse the further in the night they got. Even if the 2nd floor seemed to be fairly new to a lot of people, there wasn't a lot of people around them at this time of the day. She just assumed that they either stayed inside or at the comfort of the first floor.

Dan laughed as she started playing in his cloak, saying that she was a seal. He patted her head gently. "You sure are." The boy said smiling. Her actions only served to solidify his relationship with her, whatever it was at this point. Dan had always been attracted to fun people, not just romantically but also in his friends. He always liked to be around positive people, which was one of the reasons he was so positive all the time. Back in the real world, there was so much pessimism so he did his best not to add to it. Instead, he focused on helping people and staying as positive as he could. Dan stiffened slightly and blushed as she wrapped her hands around his arm and leaned her cheek on him. 'S-she's just trying to stay warm, or keep me warm. A friend would do either of those things.' He coughed and relaxed as he tried to voice his answer to her question. While he was cold he wasn't going to let her feel bad because she had his cloak. So he shook his head and tried not to shiver anymore. "N-no I'm fine," Dan replied. "Besides, we're almost at the restaurant." After about five minutes of walking, they reached a restaurant. Looking at the signage above the door he noticed that it was called The Calcum Rod, with a picture of a fishing rod behind the words. He stepped into the building and was immediately was greeted with warmth and the smell of fresh fish. An NPC hostess greeted the pair with a smile as they walked in. "Hello, and welcome to the Calcum Rod. Party of two?" Dan nodded shakily, the effects of the cold wearing off. The hostess smiled and led them to a small table next to a window. She placed two menus in front of them saying she'd be back to take their order shortly. He stood behind a chair and pulled it out for Takita to sit in. Pushing it in for her when she finally did.
