As Rue had cleaved through the kobold blood sprayed from it's neck coating the young girls blade. down it's Trickling it cried in pain as Relsialle made the finishing blow and sent it away as pixels. The blood that pooled on the ground and on her weapon disappeared as she looked at the older girl. She examined the pink haired women with a focusing on the wound she received from the kobolds. The damage was not anything to concern herself with at the moment, but the women's heavy breathing and reluctance worried Rue. Motioning over to her sister she sheathed her sword and put her hand on the woman's shoulder. Her cold and blank look that was more suited for a veteran then a girl who should be just entering high school, changed to slight worry." You okay your breathing is rather heavy? Try to regulate your breathing and slow your heart rate. It will feel uncomfortable at first, but you will not tire as fast". Rue knew that they were not in the real world, but your mind still perceive your body as your real body so you can solve most problems, by following simple day to day advice. Rue took her hand off of her sister as she turned to there only escape. The sounds of barking thankfully muffled the sounds of fighting, but they would have to deal with the dog, and whatever else might be there. The smell that had been lost to her when she focused on the fight swam through her senses. She had gotten blind to the smell of death as it no longer bothered the small girl. Thinking back to the fight, where she shrugged and other fights where she had shown displeasure in harming the monsters that was not needed or they were unable to defend themselves. Rue's tone was calm, but cold as she spoke to Relsialle while she looked to there only way out. " If your ready to go, will go but I want to talk". Rue faces the older women with a emotionless expression and threating amber eyes." You can't feel bad for them, all that matter is you. If you hesitate or show mercy for the enemy, it will backfire or even kill you. I do not wish to see someone who I deeply care about die to non existent creatures. If it makes you feel better their not real and you are, even if they look real feel or smell real their fake this world is fake. That all I wanted to say if you listen or don't listen it's up to you, I don't like talking to you like this.... I just want you to be careful".

Her concern was noteworthy, but still anyone would be breathing hard if they were running a marathon or a sprint in real life wouldn’t they, especially given the speed in which the close-quarters battle had played out. The thief shook her head free of the sisterly moment, knowing they had more troubles close at hand. “Don’t mind me, just still wrestling with this whole real but not real bit…” The rogue answered taking a final deep breath before slowing the air entering her lungs, “Quit being such a worrier…” The pink-haired musician shrugged off the comment with a smile, her skill already well-proven at this juncture, a prideful streak showing in her final words. The adrenaline faded away almost as quickly as it started, a quick shiver running through her bones as the rush blended into nothing, the pain from her injury absent for the time being. Relsialle scoffed slightly, knowing that she was supposed to be the hardened one out of the pair, her playful sense of humor set in place like a suit of armor. Strangely, the thief couldn’t helped but be comforted by the teen, not so much the advice itself but the fact that Rue felt she had to say it. The older girl wiped her clean blade on her woolen skirt, leaving the weapon drawn and hidden behind her forearm…ready for yet the next threat that presented itself. The girl sighed as she turned to the nearby exit, the chamber silent of dog and kobold. The lecture made her eyes narrow slightly before finally calming, realizing from where it come from, “They are no threat remember, that was the reason I took such an art in the first place…not as a means to kill everything easier, but as a means to get past.” The rogue said, her tone getting serious despite her usually light-hearted tone. She disliked the unsporting nature that her sword art brought to the table with groups…Others found it to be the perfect excuse to get an easy kill, but by herself, it was only a mans to slip past and gain the advantage of stealth. “It’s not like I don’t mind killing them, but it’s the fact that they know that they are helpless…” The crystal-blue gaze of the kunoichi looked down for a moment as if in thought until another bark in the distance fished her out of it, her boot shifting slightly to cut the conversation short and move to the next chamber…hopefully in the direction of escape. Relsialle’s gaze shifted back up to attempt to see if there was anything in the next chamber of note, dust and grime once more doing its best to block their vision. However what she could make out is several figures standing in a sand pit of some type…surrounded what appeared to be several wolf-sized cages and stands for spectators…

"Everything is a threat, that tries to kill you. I will stop worrying when you worry more. They would not bat an eye if you were in the same position as them". Rue expression and tone turned to a more irritated and upset tone as the older girl kept acting like this was a walk in the park. Huffing she would fix her hair as she turn to look at the dusty hall. Her arms crossed and looking away from Relsialle. Rue ears picked up the sounds of barking clearly and her detection skill allowed for a more clearer picture of the sandy arena. Rue could see several figures, they were most likely the dogs. Someone must of released them, however she could not see them. The pit looked like a fighters pit that Gladiators would fight in back in ancient Rome or in movies and games. Rue would see several wolf sized cages that help the wolves clarifying their numbers. "We could see if we can pull them into fighting in this hall. Fighting them in the open would be more dangerous. If we funnel them into the hall their numbers won't mean anything. Also someone had to of let them out so there must be more kobolds around. Do you see anything else or have a better idea"? Rue's tone was still laced with anger as she spoke curtly to her older sister, not looking at her as the small girl pouted and glared at the figure of wolves.

" Sometimes things are more fun with your life on the line…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Relsialle Lv4 Relsialle sighed before turning back to look at Rue, the younger sister still carrying on with her lecture despite the danger that lurked just ahead, “It just seems wrong I think…regardless of what they are…they have shown at least some form of intelligence at least…” The rogue responded thoughtfully, her sharpened features hardening slightly given the heavy nature of the topic, her accent seeming almost musical with the philosophical topic. The girl huffed slightly before offering a quick smile, “Worrying more will only get my head in the way…that’s why I am able to fight like I do, remember.” The girl added, her tone changing slightly inflecting upward to show a measure of light-heartedness. Perhaps Rue would understand, perhaps she won’t…freedom came with a lack of cares, some measure of hope in the lack of concern for the material that seemed more spiritual than anything. The girl grinned before nudging Rue playfully like a feline, all the while knowing that she would be even more reckless if Rue were not around…her behavior and tactics blunted slightly out of concern for the endearing tank. The Irishwoman turned to the pit, Rue no doubt getting a better picture of the situation due to her detection mastery, but still it seemed to be better that they had much more control over how the situation would play out as opposed to being walked to their deaths. The numbers seemed to draw another measure of concern from her, the figures coming into view and showing obvious restlessness from the absence of their allies. The cages around the pit were occupied, several untrained wolves standing by for their own turn with Sang the Pit Master, and perhaps their own form of servitude. Relsialle turned to Rue with concern, “What’s the plan…We can draw them back with a throw but I’m not sure how many will take the bait…” The large kobold at the center was an unknown to be sure, yet another variation on a trooper, albeit armored in what appeared to be a dull calcum plate…almost in a Roman style adding more to the gladiator theme of the chamber. Rue tried to ignore the rogue's words and her smile as she would talk about he beliefs and how she works. It does not matter what their likes and dislikes in a fight of life and death. The rouge smiled and began nudging her little sister playfully like a cat asking for attention. Rue's scowl would break into and soft smile as she would nudge her back. Losing the battle Rue would laugh as the older sister's nudging tickled. " Alright alright, you win stop your... tickling me". Catching her breath and looking at Relsialle with a smile and speaking in a kind tone. "I'm sorry for snapping at you, it's normal to feel bad when killing things and I get that you don't like thinking about anything but the fight when your fighting. Your you I can't change you". Rue would move in closers to the pits to get a better view. " But you can't change me either. I'm going to worry and try and protect you, and I would not want it any other way. Who would lead me on these crazy adventures if you worried"? Rue looked once more at the pits. The cages were occupied by wolves that seemed to bark at their new masters. Rue would think about the possibilities then spoke calmly. " You could throw at the wolves on the chains and they would pull their holders with them. Or you could use your stealth and see if you can open the cages and let the untrained wolves out and attack the kobolds". Rue thought about what she said and who she was talking to. With a more worried voice she retracted her statement. " Wait don't do that it's to dangerous the wolves would be able to detect you. I take the second idea back. Don't try it".

" Sometimes things are more fun with your life on the line…" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ notes Relsialle Lv5 Relsialle couldn’t help but giggle given Rue’s response to her prodding, the thief ultimately softening the serious of the situation despite the danger that the party was still confronted with. Despite her discomfort with younger protecting older, Rue played the role of tank well, and knowing her own particular archetype, she could use all the help she could get when stealth wasn’t enough to keep her defended. Still the pair’s personalities were no doubt meant to conflict at times despite their particular friendship, the both of them doing their best despite their own individual predilection for order and chaos. The Irishwoman patted Rue on the back reassuringly with a warm smile once she apologized, “I know, we are both set in our ways and stubborn as hell…but I think it works, you do the worrying for the both of us and I’ll see what I can do to mix things up a bit every so often…” The crafty thief said with an exaggerate wink, sticking her tongue out in jest slightly with a deep chuckle. With peace established once more, her crystal-blue gaze turned back to the pit and the party that awaited them…lower level enemies for the most part, but the amount and how they were coordinated concerned her, and if she was concerned that spelled an especially large problem. It helped that she could lean on Rue in these situations, the younger’s tactical thinking already helping them out of several such problems in the past where she would have simply improvised and hoped for the best. The pink-haired rocker offered a sigh as she thought on the options, quickly nodding in agreeance at the teen’s retraction of the stealth plan, “Yep…Those wolves would sniff me out in a heartbeat, I learned that lesson the hard way in dealing with those dogs in the forest. Stealth resistant, they may not be strong by themselves but they would all jump on me at once and make me puppy-chow once they found me…” The response was in line with Rue’s line of thought, Relsialle already having several scars from learning that particular aspect of the creature type through experimentation. This trait that made the wolves much more dangerous for her and those like her than anyone else. The girl brought a finger to her lips in thought before finally nodding, “The first plan doesn’t sound half bad though…it should at least stun their handlers a bit to buy us some time even if we get the whole jumble on top of us. It’s going to be messy either way…” The kunoichi stated, shaking her head as the talk got serious and directed to the task at hand. Her slender fingers reached down to the small needle pouch that graced the bare portion of her thigh, pinching a pair of thin blades on the gaps between the nimble digits. “Shall we get started?” Relsialle questioned as she brought her wrist back and lined up her shot, aided of course by the blue targeting reticule on her GUI.

Sighing with relive at the rouge's agreeing with her for once. It seemed she had past experience that thought her the hard way. Rue nodded at not making the girl a chew toy. Relsialle seemed to agree with the first idea. It was not very well thought out and heavily relied on the wolves, but it was safer then throwing the older women to the wolves. Rue nodded in agreeing that will go with the first plan. " Once you throw your pins go into stealth, they should all focus on me when the battle starts. Even if they all come at me at once, this halls is to small for them to attack at once. If you can get behind them we could surround them and make it even more difficult for them". Rue look at Relsialle calmly with a calm tone. Rue rested her hand on her hilt. The rogues fingers retrieved a number of thin pins and asked if the younger girl was ready. Rue drew her sword at her question, for once the older women looked like she was being serious for once. Facing the hall with a blank look and spoke with a cold merciless voice. "Ready".

It was a gamble, much the situation as a whole, but one that banked on the inexperience of the trained wolves that she hoped the system would compensate for by some degree. The pins fired off like bullets before imbedding in the armored carapaces of the red-skinned reptiles that held their canine partners at bay…their howls echoing in the chamber as their leader scanned the room for their far-off assailants. The kobold spearmen were clearly more of the servant sort, their armor in weapons a much lower quality than their more well-built comrades that were dispatched earlier…their armor much more piece-meal and rusted than the much more threatening main-line troopers. The sudden activity, just as planned, spooked the dogs not only on the chains…but also those that remained caged, filling the considerable chamber with the barks and howls of the beasts as the action commenced. Relsialle grinned as her weapons hit pay-dirt, the gamble slowly coming to fruition as she reached for her dagger in its home in the leather sheath at her bare thigh, readying herself for the skirmish to come. Her body weight lowered just as Rue planned, the outline of her stealth-mode fading away into the shimmering form that only her sister would be able to perceive along with the wolves that were now blinding charging toward them with their stunned handlers desperately clenching on to the chains for dear-life, attempting to exert some measure of control over the enlarged wolves that were previously trained...the reptile’s wounds leaking a portion of blood before their HP dropped by a fraction to compensate for the hit. Relsialle's pinpoint throw impressed the tank as she put her shield out in front and moved up reading herself for the wolves. The chained vulpes would drag their master along as the charged for Rue with their bestial fury focused at the small girl. They bared their fangs as the snarled while they closed in. The stunned kobolds seemed to slightly regain their senses as they pulled on the chains in a unknowing reflex. The wolves would jerk back as they fought against they confused masters. Rue moved in as their momentum was halted and move in to attack the open wolves. hugging thee right wall she would curve in on one of the wolfs left sides and bring her blade down through the wolf's neck. A loud yelp would sound out as the wolf turned to bite the girl only to get knocked back by her shield. As the first wolf flew back, Rue moved to the second wolf. It was move prepared as it lunged forward at the girl. Ducking under and moving to her left she would bring her sword across the wolf's lower neck. Blood rained down on thee pale girl as the wolf fell to the ground. The vivid crimson accented the girl's skin as the kobold's and wolves collected themselves and yelled and growled at the shield maiden.

The restrictive space as well as the newly trained wolves gave them the edge in the combat for the time being. Regardless of success, they were still outnumbered, and the stealthier rogue eyed the cooldown of her trademark art with wanting until the soft ping of its aid signaled her to allow a wicked smile creep across her sharpened features. Her iron blade glowed brightly in her hand as her shimmering form crept closer to the stunned and flailing kobold servants, the creatures struggling to regain their composure as they finally regained their footing to handle the sudden attack that they were faced with from the two sisters. It wouldn’t take long for the Irishwoman to appear, the pink hair flashing brightly as she reappeared into visibility with her curved Iron dagger outstretched to deliver its terrible sting into one of the spearman. (Sang the Pitmaster L4– 65hp) – Spiked Chain (Kobold Patrolman #1 L2 – 40hp) - Spear (Kobold Patrolman #2 L2 – 22hp) – Spear *Paralysis* (Direwolf #1 L2 – 16hp) – Chain held by Patrolman #1 (Direwolf #1 L2 – 18hp) – *Berserk* The agile thief twisted her lithe form just as the Kobold’s comrade spun about, now fully aware of the extent of the battle that now faced them…his counterpart frozen in the grotesque paralysis from the crafty musician’s sword art, making the battle and the situation ultimately more manageable for the time being. However, the condition allowed for the direwolf he controlled to break free, becoming wilder in its attacks against the small statured defender. The exposure did not help Relsialle ultimately as the recovered spearman moved to regain the attack, its spear whipping around to catch the nimble thief along the upper arm…draining her HP with a wicked cut from the well-honed blackened polearm, forcing her stagger back slightly as her health bar dropped by a small fraction. The pain forced her to grit her teeth as she leaped forward to press the offensive once more, arcing her dagger upward to gore the red-skinned reptile’s torso… (Sang the Pitmaster L4– 65hp) – Spiked Chain (Kobold Patrolman #1 L2 –28hp) - Spear (Kobold Patrolman #2 L2 – 22hp) – Spear *Paralysis* (Direwolf #1 L2 – 16hp) – Chain held by Patrolman #1 (Direwolf #1 L2 – 18hp) – *Berserk* The wolves maintained their efforts in forcing Rue backwards, the combined efforts hammering on the girl’s shield as their considerable body weights pounded harder and harder on the wooden shield in an effort to get around the considerable defense.

With the first wave fended off and the enemy forces focused on the small tank. The pink assassin, moved through their ranks and moved behind one of the kobolds. The flash of a smile and a blade. Burying the her paralyzing dagger into the unknowing kobold, The kobold freezes on impact. The second kobold lets go of the second wolf's chain causing it to charge at the small tank. Moving in the kobold's spear would catch her upper arm. Rue would see the wolves moving towards her. Seeing Relsialle getting hit, but moving back to the offensive. " Relsialle be careful, Their boss could act at any moment". As Rue spoke the berserkered wolf lunged at her. Batting it away with her shield the wolf would be flung into a near by wall, a yelp could e heard as it crashes into the wall. A chain could be heard rattling against the ground as the other charges at Rue. Using her superior speed, the small tank moves to the chained wolf's side and brings her blade through it's weaken state. The berserking wolf regains it footing and blindly charges at the small girl. A flash of her blade goes down on the wolf's neck as she moves to the side. Finishing off her foes Rue would move in to assist her older sister. Looking down the hall checking on the leader, and makes sure it's still back in the arena. The lack of action from the stronger kobold gamemaster.

(Direwolf #1 L2 – 0hp) – DEAD! In a quick flash Rue had dispatched both of the untrained wolves, taking out half of the considerable threat that they had faced head on. The act definitely relieved the pressure that they were faced with, leaving them one opponent in addition to the powerful boss that would agro and charge forward at any time. Still, they were able to at least maneuver better in the restricted space, the thief shrugging off her light wound before once more getting into the fight. The spearman reptile struggled to maneuver the sharpened spear around the chaotic battle, Rue picking the battleground well to lend the pair the best advantage for the moment. Relsialle grinned as the adrenaline hit her, growing accustomed to the life or death line that they walked now regularly in the depths of the dungeon…the darkened depths becoming a second home to her given her increasingly specialized skillset. Her pink hair bounced like a neon cape as her lithe form danced on her toes to dodge the polearm…the patrolman doing his best to strike the nimble kunoichi. Relsialle’s eyes went wide as a near miss sailed past her, the girl weaving her dagger forward along the shaft of the kobolds weapon to stike him in the chest…the sharpened iron weapon twisting before flicking upwards in inflict more pain and suffering on the monster that dared strike her. Pulling her weapon free, and flicking it to the side, soon her patrolman would add its own data to the explosion of blue pixels that lit up the area…prompting its frozen partner to gurgle in horror and pity at its own helplessness. However it seemed that this action was the trigger that would send their leader running…the roman-flavored leather armor rattling as the green kobold sprinted to defend the last of its charges. The steel chain it carried dragged along the ground before flicking up at Rue…the agile weapon able to snake behind her shield if its angle was correct… The crystal-blue eyes of the Irishwoman went wide as the ring-leader of their particular circus now joined in, discounting the threat due to its unwieldy weapon until a bright glimmer appeared from its empty hand…was it dual wielding? A short sword appeared drawn in its second hand, the weapon moving to crash down on the unsuspecting thief as she swatted it away by sheer luck…The programmers had outdone themselves here… (Sang the Pitmaster L4– 65hp) – Spiked Chain / Short Sword (Kobold Patrolman #1 L2 –0hp) – DEAD! With another threat dealt with and another still paralyzed. It seemed that the pitmaster finally decided to grace the sisters with it's presence. Brandishing a fail that rocked back and forth and around as it moved with it's steps. The leather clad kobold with chain mail rattling under the hardened leather. The pitmaster charged at Relsialle drawing what looked to be a short sword, it had the ability to dual wield. The unsuspecting rogue somehow managed to parry the sword away on luck or some sort of instinct. Charging forward Rue met with the gladiatorial kobold head on. It hissed as it's fail spun at the top part of the small tanks shield. As Rue moved in to separate the pitmaster from Relsialle, the chain hit the top of her shield and folded around the top causing the spiked ball to hit her wrist. Grimacing in pain Rue push the kobold back with her shield. The girl and the kobold locked eyes as Rue put herself in front of Relsialle. Opening it's gaping maw as it readied it's sword and swung the ball and chain around in a circle. Going for another swing of it's flail Rue would not be tricked again as she raised her shield slightly higher. The ball crashed off of the shield, the to kobold went for the small opening with his sword. Turning her sword downward Rue trapped the pitmaster’s sword between her guard and blade. Smashing the kobold's face with her shield it would stumble back, Rue then followed up with a slash with the tip of her blade at the stumbling gladiator's neck. Releasing a large howl like hiss, regaining its balance it would glare at the girl with her shield raised waiting for a second attempt.

Relsialle dove right as Rue positioned herself to take the brunt of the area-boss's assault. The sheer violence and skill of the attacks were something to behold as the first encounter with a long rumored dual wielding ability was revealed. Her smile was none the less present as the excitement of the dangerous battle rushed through her, trusting Rue to handle the agile gladiator for the moment as she snuck away to finish some linger business. Regardless of her own beliefs regarding the helplessness of foes, this situation was different as she spring from her shadowy realm, Relsialle brandishing her sharpened dagger as she thrusted the weapon deep into the back of the wounded reptile’s neck…twisting the blade as the pulled out the dagger only to have it covered in the digital information of her newest kill. Rue would no doubt give her grief for the merciless end of the creature knowing her personal feelings about it, but the danger and immediacy of the situation would give her reason to act as she did. Sang seemed more focused on the moment rather than on the life of his comrades as Rue backed off to allow him to press the attack again…the large named-kobold growling and snarling with every movement of the independent weapons clutched in its claws. It swatted away the tip of the teen’s blade with the nimble short sword, using the small opening to attempt to wrap its powerful chain around the girl…its feet holding the ground firmly despite the white-haired girl’s offense, proving its mettle as a single-combat specialist was well in line with the archetype that it represented.

Rue's sword was knocked away from the kobolds parry. This enemy would be difficult to deal with, in a one on one fight. Relsialle had finished off the last of his comrades, meaning that now they had to number advantage. Seeing the pit master swing his chain downward. As the chain rattled toward her right leg, Rue lifted her leg up then stomped on the chain of the flail trapping it. Smashing her shield into the kobold's face, making him stumble back and pull on the flail. Sliding the flail back more with her right foot and pulling the kobold back. her left foot was now forward, and her sword was in font of her as she thrusted into the kobold's chest. it gasped from the pain, but Rue was not done. She brought her left foot back, as she switched stances the blade slid out and her shield smacked the pit master back and away from the small tank. "Relsialle your turn, don't give him a moment to regain his footing". Rue charged after the kobold not giving him any time to spare as she aimed her sword at the leader. As she charged Rue could feel the fatigue in her body from fighting all day, and now fighting on her adventures with Relsialle. She knew that soon her body would be to tired to move. Pushing past the walls of fatigue she did not slow down, she could not afford to take a break when they are fighting for their lives.
