Rue's brow furrowed at the boys docile response. He seem to keep under relative control despite her constant attempts to aggravate him. His current response irritated her, why was he taking such abuse and not standing up for himself or just leaving. She looked away did not glance back to him, as she listened to the other girls words. She wanted to meet again, Rue was not in disagreeance with her request. However she did wish that her words would of hinted at her wishing to know the name of her twin. Tapping her shield with her finger tips and looking around the plains. For now the see could not see any wolfs near by, but the howls were a sigh that they were closing in on the group. Looking back to the blond haired girl Rue jestered her arms in a open fashion. " No need to, hide it from Sora, he never wanted to play. It's Rue, Sora my name is Rue, like the plants and stuff". A Small amused expression creep out of her calm mask, placing the back of her hand under her chin and supported it with the other hand on the elbow of the one holding her head. " Now that where all mostly acquainted and, you have won the game. Will you tell me your name, or should I just call you Ophelia"? Sounds of growls and crunching of grass would interrupt their conversation as Rue's expression grew more stern and her tone of voice more serious and commanding. " Back to Back". The group would turn and press their back towards each other. The group would look around to see wolves come into view. Their were three of them. Steam escaped their breath as drool, hung from the open maws. They growled and snap at the group as the circled around them. Rue drew her sword and slid into her stance pointing her shield in front of her. " This groups is the same size as us. they won't attack unless they outnumber out number us, right now their boxing us in tying to corral us until the rest of the pack arrives. Move in unison and focus on one target and blitzkrieg their scouts, will break out of their formation before they can even react".

[Sora]

Just hearing Rue telling him her name, and the reference she made, made him laugh. It may not be an obvious one, but there was. Or perhaps it was unintentional. When he introduced himself to her, he said 'Like the one with all the clouds 'N' stuff' and the format Rue used was very similar. Maybe it was a coincidence, but he still found it rather amusing. Though, even as the wolves showed up, he didn't snap to serious mode like rue. Though by his own instinct, before she even asked to get back to back, he started moving that way. Sword drawing simultaneously as he readied it in front of him. Rue didn't need to explain it to him really. He may not be some genius on Shakespeare and the Chinese, but he no doubt was one on the art of war. He wasn't as dumb as he may have come off to them. People can be super genius's on one subject, but 1st graders on another. Just because he didn't know too much about the earlier conversation, didn't mean in the slightest he wasn't very intellectual. He just hoped that the older blonde who seemed to be very, very interested in Rue, would be able to keep up. She may be a nerd, but perhaps she is good at fighting as well. He wouldn't know unless he found out for himself.

Athena thought it was interesting how Rue decided to give her name to Sora so easily. This action made Athena question whether she really was like her in most ways. If it was me in the situation, I definitely would've played with Sora a lot more. Athena heard the howls of the wolves one more time, then she knew why Rue gave her name. Rue was in a hurry to try and get them to end the conversation. Athena looked toward Rue as she asked what her name was, but it didn't seem like she would listen until they were ready to battle. When Rue called both her and Sora to get back to back, Athena immediately listened. Rue was a seasoned veteran, so it seemed like she knew exactly what she was doing.      As Athena stood back to back with her sudden comrades, she smiled. She was ready for a battle, but the wolves might've posed a bit of an issue for herself. She didn't know anything about the wolves. Athena suddenly realized that Rue had said she was trying to gain information against the non-humanoid type enemies. If she used the information that Rue had gathered earlier, then it probably would mean that she could inflict a good amount of damage, while also making the creature more and more handicapped. Athena wanted to let some of the tension go, so she spoke. "Rue... My name's Athena, just so you know. Sorry I forgot to mention it earlier, but I was having a little too much fun playing word games with you." She smiled wider as she focused in on the wolf that was in front of her. She was ready for a battle with the feral animal.

Rue gave a small smile as she heard the girls name. Staring down the wolfs as they circled. " With a goddess of victory on our side the wolfs stand no chance". Rue point her blade at one if the wolfs," Were going to break through their line, i'll lead the charge you two stay close behind. i'm going to knock it over with my shield and you to finish it off while it's down. Our backs will be turned to the other two wolfs, they will strike. Don't worry i'll cover you while you finish it off. Ready on three 1,2,3 go"!. The three players move as a unit, charging towards the wolf. The wolf was token by surprise and was steamrolled by the shield maiden. The wolf whined as Rue slammed her shield into it's face, causing it to flipped over exposing it's belly. As the group moved to attack the two other wolves howled and charged for Athena and Sora's back. Rue circled around the two while they finished the down wolf off. Cutting off their point of attack the wolfs claws dig into the ground, halting the movement. One stood in front of Rue growling, attempting to distract the small girl while the other slowly moves to the side. Rue jerks forward scaring the flanking wolf causing it to turn back.. [Sora]

" Right right, let's just hope our Goddess doesn't fall behind... " Rue moved, making the charge with gets girls before circling back behind. Sora followed, completely in sun as he raised his foot, stomping on the neck of the wolf. If this wasn't a game, it's windpipe would be smashed. Not even a divine later his sword came crashing down, tip entering and impaling it's mouth to the ground. He literally shoved his sword down its throat! He then turned his attention back towards Athena and rue. The other two wolves backed away for a moment. She seemed to be doing a good job keeping them off their backs. Though, he would soon join in and eliminate the final two.

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @rue @sora ✐ --- ✉ YAYAYAYAYAY BATTLE BATTLE BATTLE

Athena was still smirking as Rue explained their strategy. Athena wasn't usually one to listen to others in this type of situation, but since Rue was more skilled than she was, she decided to listen to her anyway. Athena smirked as Rue suddenly burst toward the wolf she was facing, knocking it on its back. Such a powerful hit... I'm lucky that I'm her teammate and not her enemy... As soon as Rue ran back towards the other wolves, Athena put Rue's plan into action, and it seemed that Sora did too.      Athena ran toward the wolf she was supposed to attack as she watched Sora pin the stunned wolf down with his foot, stab his sword down the wolf's throat, and keep it inside the wolf's throat. Athena wasn't royally impressed, but she did have to say that Sora had some finesse when it came to destroying the wolf. Athena, on the other hand, wanted to completely disorient the wolf so that if they couldn't kill the wolf with attacks, they could keep it out of the way while they defeated the other wolves. Athena watched the two tendons of the wolf's back legs and quickly swiped to completely rip both of them in half. Athena used Rue's strategy, which she thought was work extremely well in this situation, especially since they were taking on a wolf 2 to 1.

Sora pinned down the wolf as the boy stomp on it's neck. The wolf wimper as it was slammed to the ground. Sora pinned it's mouth to the ground, it whinned as it tired to worm it's way out. As it flailed it's legs around and shook it's body in desperation Athena put Rue's findings to use and disconnected it's back leg's tendons. The wolf yelped in pain as it's health bar plummeted to zero and dispersed into blue pixles. As the two finished off the wolf to other two in front of Rue howled. Their cries echoed through the plains and was returned back with a noticeably high amount of howls. One of the wolfs ran around Rue and stood in front of the two who killed their comrade. It growled and snarled at them flashing it's fangs. The other wolf would lunge forward at the small girl, Rue would slam her shield into it's face causing it to whine a fly back. Rue looks around whiles she had a moment, off in the distance she could make a out a large grouping of shadows moving towards them at a alarming speed. If that group joined up with it's brethren it would spell disaster for them impromptu party. Rue focused back onto the wolf of had picked itself off of the ground, learning it's lesson it would stick to stopping the group until their main pack arived. Rue spoke with commanding tone. " These two are trying to keeps us immobile so their main group can come in for the kill, and by the sounds of their howls there are a lot more then we can handle if they meet and surround us we have a low can of seeing tomorrow. Luckly were close to the town all we have to do is immobilized or killed the wolf blocking you two and move to town. If we stay in this formation while constantly moving it will make it harder for them to surround us. If we tired and outrun them we would be separated and individually picked off". With Rue plan said to the two, their attempts to remove the wolf would be much more difficult as the wolf would not directly engage them. Sora sighed, the situation wasn't in their favor. Though, that didn't matter. He could turn any odds. Though in this situation, he didn't have to. He'd prefer to fight all the wolves but, he knew Athena would nag at him. He shook his head, now wasn't the time to get distracted, it was time for action. " Athena, I'm head in first to give you an opening. Then you can come in and put a couple strikes on. Though try to get an opening where I can strike it's heart as I'll follow up after you strike. Try not to mess up and we'll be golden. Improving is available if need be. "At that, Sora himself charged the wold first. Quickly he lowered his sword, the top dragging against the ground as dirt was sprung up out of the ground. He then brought the sword up to give a diagonal cut from the bottom to the top of the wolf. If it struck it'd lose a leg. If it were smart it would move towards its right. Athena could follow up the moment it moved to strike, though that was all on if she was fast enough. If not, he'd get struck as he'd be open to an attack. He was putting a lot of faith in the girl with a major superiority complex:

Athena watched as the wolf's HP bar reached zero. Athena wasn't fond of these wolves, especially since they were about as quick as she was. She was thankful to have Sora with her because he gave her the chance to deliver a killing blow, or at least a blow to render the enemy useless. Athena heard the other two wolves that Rue was dealing with howling. The other wolves quickly received many howls in return. Athena looked toward the plains where she could see a large number of shadows moving towards them. Why are there so many wolves out and about?! If we can't hurry and kill these other wolves, we'll probably be toast!      As soon as Athena finished that thought, she heard Rue's voice. Rue was giving them another battle strategy, but Athena didn't think that Rue's strategy would have a large chance of success. Athena didn't want to defy Rue, but the strategy she made up was too reliant on the idea that they couldn't beat the Dire Wolves quick enough to get away. Athena thought differently from what she thought Rue was basing her strategy on. Sora looks capable enough to create an opening for me. If I can disable the wolf we're fighting, then we can quickly kill it. If we do that, then Rue's wolf will be easy to take out. Now if Sora could just get me an opening... To Athena's surprise, Sora seemed to be creating an opening for her already, as he told her that she just needed to create an opening to the wolf's heart. Athena smirked as Sora finished. "Easy enough. Just don't fall behind after I hit the wolf."      Athena followed immediately behind Sora, who slashed diagonally, making the wolf dodge to his right side. Athena focused on the wolf's movements and decided that she was going to try and slash the whole left side of the wolf while simultaneously pushing the wolf over. Athena thought the wolf's inertia would be too much for the wolf to handle, causing it to roll on the ground, exposing its belly. Athena quickly put her rapier along her right side and ran across the left side of the wolf, slashing one of the tendons on its front left leg, then a slash along half of the wolf's exposed stomach because of its dodge. As soon as Athena finished her strike, she gave an immense amount of energy to her legs, pushing herself into the wolf. Athena landed on the ground, a short distance from where she jumped, while the wolf got pushed a little further on its stomach. "Sora! There's your opening! Try your best to kill it! I'm going to help out Rue!" Athena got up from the ground and ran towards Rue. "I know this wasn't part of your plan, but 3 against 1 is better than 1 on 1. It gives us a better chance of survival, at least, I think it does. But we can argue about this later. Right now, let's just kill that wolf and get out of here."

Rue's ears perked up at the Athena's overconfidence as her and the wolf stared each other down, their yellow eyes watching the others movement. Rue made no effort to approach the wolf as it was not a threat or in the way of her plan. As the two focused on the next wolf Rue added a simple quote in a calm voice. " Their is no greater danger then underestimating your opponent". As Sora swung at the wolf's left leg it would dodge to the side, and be caught in Athena's slash would catch the wolf's right side. The attack caught it by surprise causing it to roll on it's left side and flail it's legs. The merciless goddess would cut it's legs reducing it's ability to stand, the wolf howled in pain crying to it's fellow wolves for assistance. Bending her legs the Goddess would dive into the wolf's gut plunging her rapier into the wolf's stomach. The connected pair slid forward as the wolf spasmed in pain. Athena picked herself up and rushed over to Rue yelling to Sora to make the finishing blow. Athena moved to Rue 's side. She made her argument about how her strategy was the better option. Rue focused on the wolf and in her calm voice spoke," Yes your plan seems to be working rather, well if i knew you two were this proficient i would of went with a more offensive plan. however your only thinking one step ahead, if you want to be a great leader you must have the battle planned in your head and adjust to the situation. Think on why i would want to lead the enemy to the town entrance". Rue moved forward towards the wolf, it jumped back to keep it's distance. Rue moved to it's left side, it moved to the left. Athena would watch as Rue slowly shepherd the wolf back to Athena it's back facing the Amber Eyed Girl. "Now"! Rue's voice boomed as she brought the tip of her shield down on the wolf's neck. It tried to move back, but it was blocked by Athena. The tip dragged the wolf down, it's legs gave off and spilt off to the outside of the wolf. It's head would twitch as foam came out of it's mouth. Rue then trusted her sword into it's eye, a squishy wet sound touched their ears as the Small Girl slid it in deeper. The howls from the encroaching wolf pack grows louder as the sounds of panting and growls can be heard in the distance. The shadows form a more cohesive form, as the group seemed to consist of nine to twelve wolves. Sora swiftly spun around Athen, only to raise his sword and Jab it downwards with precision and impale the wolf through it's heart. This caused it to shatter into glass. He looked around, taking in the situation. Big, blue eyes darting around, scanning the area rapidly to gather in all the information he could. Though he did come across some unpleasant information... ' Yes your plan seems to be working rather, well if I knew you two were this proficient I would have went with a more offensive plan. ' ... HER plan? Athena's plan? What plan? Athena didn't make up a plan, only he did. Though, he quickly cleared his thoughts of what he just heard. He didn't care who took credit for his plan, he was alive, and he knew his plan worked. So that was a rather boost towards his confidence at leadership and creating tactics. Though, he noticed the wolves getting closer and quickly got closer to Rue and Athena.

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @rue @sora ✐ --- ✉ Sora really came up with the plan, but Athena just tacked on the bit about helping Rue.

Athena watched as Sora finished off the wolf. She knew that he would kill it, and thankfully, Sora listened to her when she said that they should kill the wolf together. Athena noticed that the wolves were getting closer and closer. As she saw all the wolves, she noticed that there were nine or ten altogether. Athena also heard when Rue had told her that in order to be a great leader, that she needed to be thinking more than one step ahead. Athena was thinking that way, since the wolves were a lot faster than the majority of the party, Athena thought it would be better to get them out of the way rather than to deal with them. Athena knew this wasn't the time to be arguing with Rue over whose strategy would've worked better. Rue went in to injure the wolf, and Athena quickly followed suit.      Athena quickly used her stealth skill to move behind the wolf without her being noticed. As Rue crushed the wolf's neck with her shield, Athena quickly pierced the now paralyzed wolf's heart. She tried to strike it as quickly as possible, to inflict the most amount of damage. She was sure that if she didn't kill the wolf herself, that Sora would kill it as they ran towards the town. "Sora. If this wolf isn't dead in a second, I'll need you to kill it." Athena was thinking about the loot and the XP they would get from this extra kill, while she was trying to look out for her other sudden party members' wellbeing. She quickly stood after she inserted her rapier into the wolf, quickly pulling the rapier out. "Rue. We need to start moving, otherwise, the other wolves will reach us. And, just so you know, a great strategist formulates plans to try and cause the least number of injuries to their troops as possible." She winked at Rue as she walked backwards towards the direction of the town. As soon as the other players caught up, she would keep pace with both of them to run toward the town as quickly as possible.

As Athena would piece the wolf's heart, it's suffering would be put to rest. Rue would listen to the Girl's words as she tried to teach the small girl about leadership.(If only she knew what I meant), Rue would tap the side of her head I response to the girls words. Rue followed Athena mostly due to her being faster then her. The group could see the entrance of the town, however Rue could hear the wolves right behind them. The gate was illuminated with touches on the side of the gate, it's light felt as it reached out to them. The wolf's were on the back of Sora's and Rue's heels the sounds of panting bounced off of the players and their hot breath warmed their feet. Rue kicked back hitting the wolf's sensitive nose, a sharp whine filled the area as the wolf reared back in pain as another took it's place. Rue turned around sliding back into her stance staring the wolves down, " Get to the gate, i'll slow them down and meet up with you". Rue would hold her ground banging her shield with her sword, the wolves would be drawn to the noise and one would jump for her neck. Rue smacked the wolf away with her shield, another one would charge at her leg while two would come from the left and right of her. She would kick the one in front of her sending it back while bring her sword down on the neck and smacking the other one away with her shield. However one bit her in the ankle, causing her to flinch in pain and another one jumped on her back trying to tear her neck out. Rue would grab the wolf by the head and flip it over her back, causing it to expose it's belly. She would stab into it's stomach, it cries of pain would embolden the others. The wolf still biting on her ankle would clamp down harder and another would chomp down on her sword hand. Rue smashed down on the wolf that was biting her hand head, damaging her hand more, but releasing it's grip on her. Slicing across the wolf on her legs face spiting it's eyes blinding the wolf. Rue had barely made herself some breathing room, as she would hobble away. The small girl did not get far as three others still fresh for the hunt followed up after the others. Two would clamp down of her legs pinning her while the other jumped on her back nipping at her as she held it's face back, it's claws boar into her back. The others recovered and moved to overwhelm the small girl. A bell tolled from the town wall as scrambling could be heard from the other side. The doors would open and a group of six spear wielding guards rushed out, to meet the threat.

[Sora]

Sora didn't get far from Rur before he noticed she was in trouble. Within a split second he had to think about which wolf would be the most dangerous, and then act simultaneously. For him if didn't take long to think as he charged in. He ran behind rue from her left, charging in yo thrust his sword through and impale the wolf on her back. Then quickly kicking the wolf off his blade before sweeping his sword vertically, blade dragged against the dirt before arcing up. As it did, the blade would run through the wolf's mouth that was buying her right ankle, which previously took damage so he figured the right ankle would be more vulnerable. And so he figured rue would deal with the other wolf at her left ankle. The wolf would have to back away and dodge or risk getting eyes cut out or even it's whole mouth cut in pieces. He'd still attempt to kick it away either way to gain distance from it. Sora quickly got in between the and all the wolves. He held the right hand up, sword ready, with the left hand outstretched, Palm towards rue as he slowly backed up, getting closer to the as he tried to usher her back. He grit his teeth as eyes darted between all the wolves, his eyes watching every movement.

[Athena]

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @rue @sora ✐ --- ✉ Sora was the one who actually vocalized everything, but it's okay~ Character development to fuel Athena's ego and make Sora hate Athena~ Also, YAY KILLY WOLF TIME!!!

Athena kept pace with the group of two as they headed towards the town. Athena could've easily outran the group, but she decided against it because, whether she liked it or not, she wanted to protect as many people from getting killed as possible. Rue and Sora were good fighters. If they were killed, Athena's chances of survival or completing the game would go down. Athena couldn't have her own life be at risk. As she finished this thought, Rue told Sora and herself to keep going and that she was going to slow down the group of wolves. Athena quickly looked behind her and saw that there were a number of wolves. She didn't take enough time to count how many there were, but there were too many, even for Rue. Athena was about to speak to Sora about disobeying what Rue had said. Before she could, it seemed that Sora had already made up his mind to abandon that idea as well.      Athena saw Rue being attacked by all of the wolves. Athena could see that Rue's health bar was going down bit by bit and it started to make Athena angry. Rue isn't going to be killed. Especially not by these impudent, insignificant worms known as Dire Wolves. These wolves are nothing more than pieces of code trying to eliminate another creation of this game, but unlike those codes, we are completely sentient and are able to function without a specific coding system as our only means of survival. We have lives outside of this game. I will not stand to see any good fighters dying in this game. This game was made for fun, and I'm starting to get mad that this system is out of our favor. Athena watched as Sora inflicted damage on a couple of the wolves, and it seemed that he had the same determination that she had to keep Rue alive. Athena had more to learn from this girl. Rue was much more skilled than she was; Rue was even holding her ground against 10 Dire Wolves! Athena quickly surveyed the group of wolves, then noticed something odd about two of the names. Dire Wolves apparently weren't the only enemies that were there. Or... Dire Wolves weren't the only enemy of that type. She quickly noticed the names of 'Packmother' and 'Packleader' who were both level 4. Level 4 enemies?! You can't be serious! How are they on this floor?! How can... Athena quickly stopped her own train of thought. Right now wasn't the time to excessively think. Athena needed to act as soon as possible.      Athena was about to strike when she suddenly heard the town's bell tolling. A number of people had come to help them, but Athena couldn't identify them because she was so far away from them. Athena couldn't focus on that right now, though. She was going to take action. Since Rue was pinned to the ground by another one of the wolves, Athena decided to go for that other one. She quickly ran behind Rue and stuck her rapier through the eye of the wolf, making sure that it would let go of Rue's leg. As Athena finished that strike, Sora was moving Rue back slowly from the wolves. Athena quickly moved in front of Rue and Sora, squaring herself in the direction of the wolves. "Shield your eyes," Athena quickly yelled. Athena put her rapier in the middle of her 'magic circle' tattoo on her right palm and slashed her rapier in an 'X' motion through the air. Bright light burst from her motion and Athena quickly ran to the right of the wolf pack. "I'm going to disappear for a second. Also, some of them might not be blinded, so be careful!" Athena was really hoping that both of the level 4 enemies had been blinded because she was going to use her 'Stealth' skill to sneak up and render both of them useless in the battle by severing the tendons on their legs. Please be blinded. Please both be blinded. Athena disappeared in the dark of the night as she used the darkness to her advantage.
