Razor's invisible smirk of joy was wide as she could see the mans expressions. She pulled back slightly from where she was to give him time to fully break down. She had hoped he would beg. They always more satisfying when they beg. She took several more steps back when she had seen another figure behind Kaito. Unsure of who it would be she just took a moment to watch and see what would happen. He unseen facial expressions shifted several times over the approach of the girl as she announced herself and started to walk away. At first she was excited, not knowing what would come of this, perhaps the girl would think hes insane, perhaps she would help him. Either way the odds were in Razors favor as both were setup for a good time. As she started to walk away Razor made her way around the field slowly to Athena rather than Kaito. He had called out to her in a plea for help. As she slowly tracked around the side behind Athena her sadistic playful grin kicked back in as she approached her new second target. She would sneak up as close as she could to Athena before unleashing re-activating her sword art and closing the narrow gap that barely exist between them anyway. She had her sword drawn back with her hand to the edge as it glew a brilliant red glow, ending her cloaked stance, though she quickly re-sheathed her sword as she wrapped a hand around Athenas cheek from behind as whispered into her ear "Yes, please stay and play with us." in the same moment Razor would again re-activate her stealth mastery and sink into nothingness as Athenas HUD would too tint slightly red, just as Kaitos was.  She would retreat a few steps toward the thicker wood before redrawing her blade and letting out a little giggle, releasing no words but only sheer insanity in her quiet laughter to herself over the game she was about to play with the two.

Athena was about to walk away before she heard the man suddenly exclaim something to her. He was thanking her and he told her to draw her weapon. Terror seemed to be the expression that he held on his face. Athena looked a little confused as she turned back to him. Why was he in such a panic? There didn't seem to be anyone around from what Athena could tell. Athena looked around to see if there were any enemies. There didn't seem to be any in her field of vision. Maybe this man was just crazy? Athena looked at the man's health bar and saw that his name was Kaito. Kaito seemed to be quite the nervous and sensitive creature. Athena was about to speak, asking what he was talking about, but he suddenly screamed at her, letting her know that this threat was definitely real. Athena slowly drew her rapier and looked around. A player killer? If that was the case, they would have to be using the stealth skill, like the one Athena herself had. Athena tried to spot the smallest difference in her surroundings, but didn't seem to find anything despite how observant she was.      Athena suddenly felt something touch her cheek and she froze. They had found her. FUCK. I was hoping I could find them before I found them, but it seems like I'll be dead in just a few seconds now. Athena stood dead still and tried to keep as calm as possible. Athena ran the situation she had walked into earlier. Kaito was standing by himself. He stood absolutely still, but the player hadn't killed him. Why? Why hadn't the killer murdered him? Athena tried to think of a possible answer to her question while the player killer whispered into her ear. Athena listened intently to the words she used. "Play". That was the answer Athena needed. This woman, the player killer, liked playing with her prey. Athena started to think of things she could do in her head, but each time she came up with a plan to drive the killer away, it left Kaito exposed. Since Athena couldn't pinpoint where the lady killer ever was, she'd have to rely on her speed. If she could react fast enough to parry and attack the killer, then she could probably drive the woman away without anyone being killed. Athena closed her eyes for a moment, imagining a chess board in her head. Kaito was the king and was to be protected at all costs, since he was incapable of killing other pieces himself. Athena would be the queen in this situation, moving and attacking all over the board. Athena imagined her opponent as a queen as well, but not nearly as skilled of a player as she was. Athena opened her eyes quickly, then began observing her surroundings. She flitted her eyes to trees, bushes, small clearings, and all manner of other kinds of cover. Athena noticed a red tint take over her screen, which made her even more motivated to beat this woman. The woman was targeting Athena, but she wasn't going to kill Athena or Kaito as easily as she had originally planned.      Athena looked Kaito in the eye, not moving from her current position. "Kaito. I have to leave. I can't die here. I'm sorry." Athena disappeared using her stealth skill and moved quickly a few small steps behind Kaito. Athena knew this would draw the woman out, since she was so intent on killing through playing. Kaito would probably react erratically since he was so nervous all the time. This reaction from him would give the female killer a good time to strike him, but Athena had other plans. Kaito might have to take some damage, but if she could land a good hit on the woman then she could probably drive her away from the two. Athena could make a clean escape with Kaito if she injured the woman enough. Athena payed close attention to the area around Kaito, waiting for the woman to appear. Once the woman appeared, Athena would be ready to pounce and inflict some good damage on the killer with a playful agenda.

The look of confusion and maybe even annoyance at Kaito’s words of warning made him worry that she wouldn’t take his words seriously, but seeing her draw her weapon on his second announcement gave him a little bit of relief to maybe chase this crazy woman away as she peered into the forest herself. She seemed young…ish, anyways, a bit closer to his age than many of the girls he had met in the past few months, her beginner’s armor having a bit of regency to them that made her long hair and elegant braids make her seem like a young noble woman. Especially with her posh British accent. But he had little time to focus on such things as while usually he would be a bit nervous to approach that kind of girl, there was little point in thinking about whether or not he looked trustworthy right now, action was needed! (But with his hair so frazzled and his sunken eyes and unshaven face, it was easy to do so.)     “S-She’s using some sort of Sword Art to make everything red like this. I-I don’t know… what it is but it must be some sort of support ability.” He theorized as Kaito attempted to climb up the long, thick roots of that ancient dead tree he burst out of, “We’re not taking any sustained damage so it-it’s not poison or anything but it must be doing something for her. I… I feel like I’m in the Predator or someth- AAH!” Before he could elaborate any further, out of the crimson fog of the forest, the black bodysuit clad woman right in front of them, clutching the girl’s face possessively, playing with the girl as her new toy. The dark haired man had proven to be an utter pushover for Razor thus far, barely needing a nudge to send him flying into whatever trap she had set for him and playing the useless victim for a little while now. However, the scarlet haired viper hadn’t accounted for his sense of heroism as he suddenly clambered franticly and charged at back. “G-GET AWAY FROM HER DAMNIT!” He roared out, face twisted in anger as he slashed his sword… into thin air, as she disappeared almost just as quickly.     “D-Damnit, this goddamn Stealth System is too useful for its own good!” He growled as Kaito regained his footing moved to place his back against the young noble’s, hoping that their combined 360 vision would catch her before the red-head could stab at them, “All this red makes it hard to tell what’s what! Maybe… maybe if we focused hard, we could see the shifting of her camouflage to see-“ “Kaito. I have to leave. I can’t die here. I’m sorry.”     His face turned to see her amber eyes as for a moment he thought he was looking at Rue, as every next sentence made his face drop further. “W… What…?” He said almost in a quiet whisper before growing again, “No, wait! Please, we can do this together, we-!” Kaito saw her vanish before his eyes, black eyes wide and mouth agape as he looked about with a renewed panic, running forward towards the woods as he screamed, “NO! PLEASE, DON’T LEAVE ME! WE CAN STOP HER, YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME! PLEASE I… I-I…” His words began to falter as his footsteps slowed, realizing he had just made himself as lost as ever before as he found it harder to see more than before. But it wasn’t because of the red-headed rapierist’ Sword Art but the tears that were filling his eyes as the feeling of utter abandonment sunk in, falling to his knees in the dirt as an outstretched hand where she could have been went limp. “P-Please… d-don’t go…” He whimpered, sniffling as he cried in despair, his sword falling to his side as he gripped the fallen leaves beneath him that would inevitably serve as his grave, “D-Don’t leave… we… we can… I-Is the world… this callous? Is this… is this as far as we’ve come…? How… how did we fall so low…?” Kaito hiccupped as he gasped for breaths between sobs as he breathed out the truth, “I-I’m… gonna die here… I’m gonna die…”

Razor's head tilt in confusion as the girl had stated she was leaving, but then stayed and moved behind Kaito. In her currently visual perception things such as invisibility had no change and made hard to tell if someone was actually stealthed or not, so it was something that never even crossed her mind. She watched as Kaito began to freak out under the pressure, but it helped her draw the conclusion she was looking for. He truly believed that the new girl was gone. That meant she was hoping for a reaction like this- a reaction to bait out her attack on Kaito.  She giggled to herself quietly as Kaitos panic began setting in. This was nothing more than a game to her, and for him to take it so seriously with such a dismal outlook only incited her thrill more as she began to grip her beginners rapier at the pommel. She looked back to Athena and her plotting stealthed stance with a weapon drawn.  This intrigued her greatly, peaking her interests on the girls thoughts. She decided to play right into her trap, but letting her be mindful she was fully aware of her plan. Quickly she moved forward taking a stab at Kaito while laughing, as her blade met her foe, or he moved, she would call out to Athena, "I know your there, I can still see you" she would call as she turned her head to look at her, letting it be known she was telling the truth to see if she would still come to Kaitos aid knowing her stealth advantaged would be lost.  As her attack directed towards Kaito went through her cloaking would dismiss and one could easily see her eyes fully closed shut as she leaped forward towards him and stared at Athena, showing that vision had nothing to do with how she was seeing at the moment. She would also appear slightly darker red than the tint already applied, giving them easier sight to her just as she could pinpoint them out as well, this would only be noticeable after she disengaged her cloaking though.

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ All hope lost? I don't think so~ Since Razor just identified that she can see her at all times, Athena is now able to combat Razor alongside Kaito! Athena Lv3

Athena lied in wait, hoping that her prey would take the bait that she was setting up for her. Kaito reacted exactly as Athena had planned, almost a little too well. It scared Athena quite a bit how much the male had reacted in response to her 'leaving'. He almost seemed to be screaming for her to come back, which almost made her feel bad enough to come out of her hiding. Though, she wasn't going to cave despite her strong desire to do so. Caving wasn't something that was part of her plan. In order for her to land any kind of hit on the woman, Razor, she would need to make sure that she had the element of surprise in combat.      Athena saw the woman come into view and direct her attack at Kaito, which made her leap up into action. The woman stabbed toward Kaito, but what happened to him wasn't important right now. The hit wouldn't be enough to kill him, she was sure of that. Athena rushed toward the woman, fully cloaked with her stealth skill. The woman told her that she could see her, which was true because Razor was looking directly at her. Athena felt her mind draw a blank in response to the information she had just received. Unfortunately for her, she wouldn't be able to use her cloaking anymore. Athena saw it as a major setback in her plan later, but right now, all that mattered was landing a hit. She was already charging toward the woman, so it wouldn't matter if she had cloaking or not. That would be fine if she could see her. Athena's speed was the thing that would probably take her attacker by the most surprise. Athena was sure that she was one of the fastest players inside of the game. Speed was the main component to her fighting style, which was something she took a lot of pride in. If she gained the title of fastest player, then it was going to help her reputation. Reputation was something that was incredibly important in gaining strong allies. When she would form her new guild, she knew that it would be incredibly important for her to have some sort of known title that she was referred as.      Despite all of the thoughts that went on inside of Athena's head, she readied herself for a hit that would make sure Razor knew who she was dealing with. Athena sped toward the woman with all of her might, getting ready for any kind of movement the woman might make. If she dodged and tried to disappear, Athena would at least be able to clip her in some manner with the speed she was charging at. It was possible that she could dodge, but Athena highly doubted the possibility. Athena pushed her rapier in the direction of the woman's torso, hoping that she would at least land some damage against her. After the attack would be made, she was sure that she would either remain in a scuttle with the woman or that she would hop backwards and wait for the woman to reappear again. Athena thought the latter was more likely, which made her come up with a whole new way to draw the player killer out.

Sorry Athena but... you're unfortunately going to have to pay for your hubris for a little while longer. Checkmate. Kaito Lv3

The first causality of any battle is the plan of attack. Especially when three major faults occur in quick succession.     Athena’s first mistake was assuming her ruse was something the dark haired stranger would recognize and work with, as well as misjudging his mental state. Seeing her disappear from view and abandoned to his fate, what so many did with hateful words and pessimistic viewpoints that couldn’t shake his resolve, the actions of a few players in the face of true evil had made him seemingly… not accept death but expecting it sooner than he ever hoped. As a blood-red world seemed to envelop around him, sword fallen to his side and tears of defeat stinking his eyes, he blinked as the world in front of him wavered and shifted, his sniffling coming to an abrupt halt as Kaito realized who was in front of him.     Athena’s second mistake was thinking she was unseen in this crimson stained world of the maroon haired murderer’s design. As the flicker of her blade came into view, Kaito’s black eyes looked into her face to see her closed eyes and dark crimson form like some eyeless monster turning not to look at him… but at the young girl that he heard lighting quick footsteps through underbrush and fallen leaves. In this split seconds before that thin rapier made impact, wet, dark eyes turned to Athena and growing larger as a new reality, a new reason for her disappearance came over him and shook him to his core: She… She was using me… as bait…!     And her final mistake was assuming that it was the only feature of this dark support skill at the killer’s disposal. As Kaito sat up and glanced behind him, the red haired rogue’s blade would find its mark with great precision and a little luck of a perfect striking point. The tip of her rapier pierced through the side of his throat and crossed outward, seemingly ripping out his trachea and larynx… if this were the real world. But this was more than enough to count as a “Critical Hit” and Kaito felt its effects immediately. But with how early they were in game, even a critical hit shouldn’t have been life threatening with his health level… but the stats had been changed, its effects had been changed and Kaito would face the price her folly. Clutching his throat in intense and violent pain, he could only gurgle loudly as he fell back into the fallen leaves, legs kicking as his esophagus seemed clenched tight. The red slash mark from the killer’s strike was infused with her deadly support ability as it glowed darker and longer than normal as the muscles around his throat contracted and was choking him to death.     The poor man gagged and gasped horribly for air, convulsing as Kaito believed his life was flashing before his eyes, the cynical words of everyone around him rung in his ears. “It's fine if your just playing a game monsters are just experience, but in a battle with real stakes, you think you can handle the pressure?” “And maybe I’m selfish, putting my desires over others’ real lives…But if that’s true, then I’m content with being selfish for now. It’s life or death, and I’m not ashamed to say I’m no martyr…” “…It’s the players that you got to worry about playing dirty for the most part…” “The darkness of the world… How can you hide from the darkness in the world when it exists within yourself and exists everywhere? “...Why should I care and go out there and fight for a group of people who could care less about me!?...” “What… What did you do?” “It does not matter if they were friends a while ago. They are the bad boys now." “Damn you, what the hell did you do to my SISTER YOU BASTARD!?” “You’re going to die. Not like Lilly. For Lilly, for a thing she probably never wanted, all over again.” “You could have asked for help! You could have run! But you just wanted her for yourself!” “I had thought you were a rather reasonable man, Kaito, but it seems not.” “Don’t talk to me! Don’t you goddamn even LOOK at me!” “If you want to be stupid, go to hell named Aincrad and try to kill yourself there!” “I’LL KILL YOU!!!” “I’m no hero. I can’t save the people I care about the most, or even my own future.” “I can’t save my own life, let alone another.” “I can’t save my own life.” “I’m no hero.”     Kaito’s pale lips mumble those three words past a throat still swollen closed as his eyes roll into the back of his head, his body going limp as darkness took him… falling unconscious.

It unfolded quickly. It always did. As her arm moved forward, striking true to its target. It felt as it always did. Empty. The game of cat and mouse only is enjoyable while theres still a mouse to chase.  Click-Click---BANG! It was instantaneous in the past. There was no remorse, sorrow, or desires after the target bites the dust from a bullet. It was uncommon for her to ever really use her hands. She had always been a trigger-happy lunatic when her crimes needed to be put into action. The cold dead body lies on the ground, but there was never any time to really meet the person. Hell... There was no words exchanged at all. It was quick and like clockwork- every body that hit the ground was the same. It was purpose. Belonging. Life. Words that anyone else in the world would find sick and twisted to be associated with her purpose, her belonging, her life. The sadistic murderer enjoyed her job to say the least, but it was never so entertaining. The cheap thrill only lasted an instant before. This was a whole new world. Everything changed her. She gained a passion in taking her time with her prey. She often was sad to see the foe go down so quickly. After all, if its super easy then wheres the fun involved?  She lusted for the thrill  The Beginners rapier, ushered in a blood red particle wrap dug deep, tearing through the throat of its prey. As her blade connected to the target the second player would dart forward lunging with her own rapier. The elegant weapon would also connect with Razor, causing her to release her blade from her foe and flow with the momentum of her attacker. The blade thrust through her shoulder pushing deep into her body. As she began to fall to the attack she saw Kaito holding his throat "Im no hero" gasping out of his throat. She watched as his health bar stopped depleting when it was nearly empty. A small smile cracked on her face as she knew she would have another opportunity to hunt him down for more of a thrill. She saw her own health take quite a toll too as she pulled herself from the blade returning back into the subterfuge of her cloaked state. She had trembled a bit before recovering her composure. "I'll let cha' off easy this time Kaito. Next time your all mine" she released from her throat before quickly climbing up a tree and making her escape through the treeline, expecting no follow due to Kaito's injuries. She thought back to his statements, as he freaked out entirely like a trapped animal. A grin widened across her rosey cheeks. "Live on. We will meet again."

Athena almost audibly cheered when the hit she was trying to make collided with her opponent's shoulder. The female player killer retreated after she had been hit. It seemed like the hit was a lot more effective than Athena originally thought. The player killer disappeared and only spoke to Kaito. It seemed that Razor was a lot more scared of Athena than Athena was of her. It made sense though. Athena was pretty sure that since the hit was so effective that Razor was a relatively weak player. She was probably a level or two behind Athena, who was level 3.      Athena laughed when the female player killer told Kaito to live on. Razor was trying to kill him, yet she wanted him to continue living? It was incredibly contradictory, but at the same time, made complete sense. Athena knew that Razor wanted to be the one to take care of Kaito's life. She was the one who wanted to take away his life in-game, and by extension, outside of the game as well. Razor seemed to be a dangerous woman who would probably prove to much more difficult than other opponents Athena had faced. Razor seemed to be able to cloak herself as Athena did, as well as explicitly target people and view them at all times. Athena knew that Razor might be a difficult opponent in the future if she ever leveled up. Athena needed to stay ahead of the woman skill-wise, otherwise, she was sure that she would lose her life at the female player killer's hands.       Athena looked down at Kaito, thankful that he was able to survive the blow that Razor gave him. She didn't really feel particularly bad about what happened to him because of her plan, but she knew he would recover, so she knew she shouldn't feel bad. The male would be fine. He would continue to survive. "Alright. Let's go." Athena began walking toward the nearest town, when she realized Kaito wasn't following her. Kaito just laid still on the ground, which made her roll her eyes. Would she really have to carry him? Athena heavily sighed, wishing that she had a teleport stone to the Town Of Beginnings. Athena grabbed Kaito's arm and began dragging him. She stayed alert while she dragged him, but she was starting to get annoyed by the amount of weight he had to him. Athena was only 18 years old, after all. She wasn't extremely strong and capable like most strength-based male characters. How long is it going to take before I can drag him all the way back to town?

I know SAO is more PG-13 but the game isn't but... yeah, this was pretty intense to write. And more than likely going to be even further later. Kaito Lv3

(21x3)÷___=7 Part B: If the product of two whole numbers greater than 1 is 63, what could the two whole number be? ______ , _______     Katsuro’s mind felt like it was beginning to melt as he stared at question 4 of part A of his test that morning, hands holding the sides of his cheeks smushing into a very stressed out face. This was far too much for a third grader to do but these standardize tests were slowly killing him. He wanted to go outside, he wanted to play Minecraft and build his space fortress of solitude, he wanted to be in history class to learn about King Kamehameha, just anything but this! It didn’t help that the classroom was so beige and bland, the sky so overcast it brought everything into a dreary light that made his eyes feel hard and strained. He groaned quietly as the rest of the room the kids had their heads down, pencils tapping and writing their answers down. He felt so lost in here, didn’t recognize the clothes or the hair of anyone in class at all. Another unfamiliar homeroom it would seem.     A light but purposeful tap against the back of his head made him realize something bounced against him as he glanced down at the little pink bud of an eraser head rolling on the ground. The barely held snicker of the boy behind him made it obvious who the culprit was. Okay, just… ignore him, don’t let him know you’re getting a rouse out of you. If you don’t respond, they’ll go away… He told himself as he picked up his pencil and slowly made shapes off the side of the paper to make it appear he was working diligently without the boy’s interference. Another tap, harder and sharper this time jabbed him in the back of the head as he flinched, another stifled chuckle from behind him as he was certain he was just jammed in the head with a pencil as Katsuro reflexively went to cover his head. That wasn’t just annoying, that legit hurt now as he bit his lower lip, knowing he couldn’t get into another fight or else it would be more than just a suspension for him. He glanced up at the front of the room to see if the teacher was seeing any of this before realizing… there was no teacher up at the board or at their desk. Then where was the sound of chalk on the black board coming from earlier?     This time there was a yank on his hair, pulling his head and neck back painfully as despite the circumstances or therapy, enough was enough. There was no teacher here to react to this so he had to defend himself… with words, of course. “H-Hey, would you knock it o-“ He began as he spun around to face… a monster. It had the body of a child, in dark clothing of a young boy, with long dark greasy hair. But the rest was something gravely horrific as its skin was the color of dark dried blood, slightly shimmering as if pooled on his skin, fleshy voids where his eyes should have been and lightly covered by its hair and a grin… a giant, inhuman grin that literately reached from ear to ear with massive teeth stained with pink at the edges. “What’s wrong…? Can’t take a joke?” It chuckled viciously, its voice reverberating both somehow high like a child but low and demonic at the same time.     All attempts at keeping down were thrown aside as Katsuro leap from his desk, yelling out in terror as it rocked over, knocking his stationary to the floor as he shifted away fearfully from the creature in the middle of the class. “W-What! I-I…!” He stammered, unable to find the words as the thing masquerading as a little boy slowly rose from its desk as its teeth grinded in its face. “Oooooh, I think it wants to start a fight! I’m telling~!” Came another voice, both that of a little girl and some unearthly thing right next to him as he glanced down at a pig-tailed child twist its neck at a physically impossible angle to look him in the eye with her own eyeless face, an equally menacing grin plastered on its face. Katsuro jumped away from her too as his dark eyes watched the faces of every child in the room slowly look up with their eyeless, dark faces with looks of sadistic glee on their faces. “What’s wrong Kats? You started the fight, right? So take a swing! Or are you like your name… A PUSSY!” Came the voice of the monster he was sitting in front of, slowly stalking forward before disappearing and reappearing inches away from his face to scream that obscenity in Katsuro’s face. It had the sickly sweet smell of rotten meat and dead flesh on its breath, more than likely that which was stuck between its massive teeth.     The dark haired boy fell back into the teacher’s desk, knocking the table off-kilter with a loud screech on the floor from ducking away. “S-Stop it, I-I’m not a…” He whimpered as he started to clam up, surrounded and realizing they’d be ripping into him soon enough. These creatures were going to kill him, he knew it. “No, you’re not a pussy, YOU’RE A FAGGOT!” Came another demonic voice from his other side as it appeared beside him and clutched him by the hair, yanking him back towards the rest of them as the little monsters surrounded Katsuro. Their profanity seemed twenty-five decibels higher than the rest of their speech, making his head and ears hurt… that was it. Their words hurt. “I-I’m not a f-faggot, I d-don’t wanna…” He hiccuped between tears of fear and hurt rolling down his cheeks. “You don’t wanna what? Fight… or DIE!?” Another from the crowd of “children” sneered as the entire room erupted into catcalls and loud, vicious laughter. He was being pushed and pulled and kicked from seemingly everywhere and nowhere as he fell into desks or yanked by his shirt or smacked upside the head. “FUCKFACE! DIPSHIT! COWARDLY LITTLE FAG! DIRTY PEDO! LOLI FUCKER! GO DIE IN A FIRE ASSFACE! NO ONE LOVES YOU, YOU LITTLE SHIT!” “S-Stop… Stop it!” Katsuro finally cried out as he suddenly swung wildly and connected with the face of one of the children. His little fist buried into the creature’s eyeless face as it suddenly caved in with a sickening crack and squishing noise as it gave away under the pressure like the young boy had punched a ripe tomato, splattering blood and brains and viscera across his arm, shirt and face. The black haired boy look down as the body of one of these creatures hit the ground with a disgusting thump to the floor, leaking blood from the remains of its head as Katsuro stared in shock and horror of what he had done. “What… H-How did I… I didn’t mean to…!” He stammered as he stared at the blood covering his hand as the room had gone silent… but only for a moment before a snicker rolled into a full laughter. “You call that a punch!? You really are a weak little FAG!” Roared a little girl that pushed him from behind. “S-shut up… Shut up!” The boy yelled out as fear was turning into fury as he spun around and struck with a backhanded fist. The demonic girl’s jaw received the blunt of the blow as it was ripped right from her face, her massive lower teeth flying across the room and slapping wetly against the wall as she began to laugh and choke on its own blood, crumpling to the ground in giggling death spasms.     The monsters didn’t care about their dead, or about their own deaths it felt like. Despite all odds and their own appearances, it was like their bodies were so soft and destructible that… that killing them was very, very easy. Katsuro’s breath became ragged and fast at what he was doing, what he could do… What he could do to stop them. “Is that all you got!? You don’t got the guts ASSWIPE!” Said another boy as it slapped him upside the head. Those dark eyes of his spun around as Katsuro’s teeth grit tight, growing furious as he growled back, “N-Neither do you, you… you bastard!” He charged forward and punched the creature straight in the diaphragm, ripping past its t-shirt and underneath its ribs as his fingers gripped at the organs inside, yanking out its intestinal track with both hands. Kidneys and a liver were forcefully ripped forth as the length of his lower and upper intestines were yanked out, Katsuro wrapping them around the monster’s throat and squeezing the life out of him before throwing its body over the teacher’s desk.     The not-children seemed to be practically lining up for the dark haired boy, now splattered in their blood and gore as he started to take them out in every way and shape possible. From fast and destructive by grabbing a hold of one of them and smashing their head through a double paned window, lifting them up and spearing them on the shards of broken glass. To brutal and creative as he kicked a girl into a wall, taking hold of both her arms and pulling on them until they ripped from her sockets, using the two improvised clubs to smash and crush the other monster’s skulls with until they deteriorated into chunks of flesh and bone. And sometimes he simply desired to take out as many as he could as he picked up one of the desks over his head, screaming out as he tossed it at a group of them with such force that they burst and splattered their limbs and organs across the room, the metal and wooden furniture slamming against the far wall as if shot from a cannon. It was like his growing bloodlust was making him stronger and stronger with each passing second, with each death by his hand. Katsuro was barely registering the words coming out of their mouths now as he ripped into the next set of them. “No one likes you in this class!” CRUNCH! “Why do you like to hurt people!?” SCRULSH! “Please, turn the other cheek!” CRACK! “I’m glad you feel that way Katsuro.” RRRRRRIIIIPPPP!     As the last one of them was now underneath him, Katsuro wrapped his hands around that still grinning face as he began to squeeze with all his might, roaring as the blood splattered into his face and body as bones and cartilage and muscle crushed between his fingers with ease. There was a euphoria to silencing these creatures as he saw that head rupture out from his fingers, even as bloody gurgles of giggles continued to flow from it. “SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!” The grey haired boy screamed at the top of his lungs, now dripping with blood as his fist punches his chest repeated, collapsing its ribcage, crushing the monster’s organs underneath with every strike until his fist touched the linoleum floor. He shook with the adrenaline coursing through his veins, his breath slow and shaking with rage, his face frozen with bared teeth and tasting their coppery fluids on his tongue. The entire room, once beige and bland, was flooded with gore and blood to the point a small pool large enough to soak his sneakers had formed beneath him. Limbs and organs and the limp or still twitching bodies of not-children was scattered throughout the class room, desks destroyed or used to impale bodies. It was an absolute warzone.     The creak of a door opening made Katsuro spin around, ready to pounce on the next creature to come at him… but this wasn’t one of the not-children… but it was certainly a monster. In dark red leather, fiery red hair that bellowed around her face and luscious red lips… that grinned from ear to ear as its eyes were nonexistent. It was the PKer. “What… have you done… to my classroom!?” She purred menacingly as she slammed the classroom door behind her. Katsuro could feel his resolve begin to loosen as she somehow stared right at him. She moved with unearthly grace as she leap upon the teacher’s desk like a wild predator on hands and knees, body flexing in ways he never thought possible in that bodysuit of hers. “Another fight Katsuro? This has gone long enough!” She growled out as the red-headed monster twisted its back, the boy hearing the sound of cracking bones and groaning organs even a couple of yards from her. The PKer leaned forward as the sound of ripping flesh filled the room, appendages growing out from her back as eight massive spider legs with sharp three-prong claws emerged from behind her. Katsuro ran for the window he had killed one of the monsters with, throwing it out of the way as he desperately tried to climb out. A searing, excruciating pain ripped through his right arm, screaming out as he saw one of the massive legs piercing through his arm and wrist, suddenly yanking him up as the weight of his entire body bore upon that gaping wound. “This was your final warning Katsuro. I hereby expel you… from LIFE!” She roared out before laughing manically, as he was forced to face her, watching as the rest of her spider limbs ripped and pierced into his chest and belly. Katsuro chocked on his own blood as he screamed for the last time.     Kaito’s eyes burst open as a sudden intake of air brought him back to Aincrad, buckling towards the ground as he went into a coughing spasm. He felt his arm up at a strange angle that made him feel like someone was trying to dislocate his shoulder, yanking it away as he struggled to catch his breath. As he clutched his throat, messaging it a little, he realized the heated feeling of the PKer’s strike had vanished and his airways had healed over. “*Cough! Cough!* I’m…. I-I’m alive…!” He panted incredulously, thankfully. It was one thing to be hit with an attack from some boar or other creature, sometimes not realizing the extent of one’s injuries. But now knowing he could survive a blow that could kill him in real life… it made all the fights before where he spent so much time trying to dodge just taking some tiny bit of pain seem… ridiculous. Pain, much like the Hunger de-buff, was just a part of the mind, something that needed to be worked past, especially if he were to survive any further in this game.     But as he glanced down at the environment, the color had changed back to the semi-hazy fog of the forest, one of green leaves and brown wood. And not a little bit of red to be seen. Does that mean that… the PKer is gone? So she was taken down by that… wait. Kaito’s dark eyes glanced up, squinting from the sun that bore through the branches above as the pale haired girl was standing above him. His lips clenched tight as he found his initial excitement now spoiled with bitterness as he momentarily glared her way, feeling like something was missing, a weight not felt on his side. “… W-Where… Where did she go? Where’s…. w-where’s my sword…?” The older man mumbled mostly to himself as he brushed some of the leaves from his armor, seeing a trail that seemed to go for quite a few yards from their initial battle ground a way back. Even on his mini-map, the little pips from his former location showed up as he gingerly got back to his feet, not even registering the young girl’s presence as he walked back towards the place that had nearly been his grave.     Right now, she was the last thing he wanted to see after nearly dying… because of her.

"I'll have to get her back too!" he said clenching her fists tightly. But before I do that, I want to hunt down the boy. She had lowered herself to the ground sitting down with her legs crossed. "Next time" she said with a little chuckle before resting her head down in the brush of the thick woods.

Kaito was trying to block out the swelling of something in his chest, feeling like a fire building inside him as he walked back towards the battleground where they were at. He could blame it on his virtual-lungs inflamed from the lack of oxygen, or the pounding of his heart at his near-death scenario. He was forcing himself in a mechanical way to focus on getting himself back up to health as he rapidly punched the menu buttons in front of him, his hand shaking as he took hold of the potion and chugged it. But he was trying to ignore the truth that he was mad. More mad than he had been in a long time. He had learned to stifle it and let it simmer before until it dissipated like he had been taught to do but now he felt like something had just… snapped inside. Like so much of what he was taught to keep calm and collected and patient was holding him back.     As he reached the location he nearly was killed at, he found his blade still semi-hidden in the fallen leaves, highlighted as such through his heads-up display. Reaching down to retrieve it, the sharp crack of glass echoed through the forest as the dark haired man glanced down at his left hand. The potion bottle had shattered in his grasp from just how hard he was squeezing it. The pain was dulled both from the higher health he had now but also the pressure that was building inside him reaching a boiling point. Why had she not said anything? The platinum blonde girl was still behind him; what was she waiting for? An apology? She would have, should have done so by now is she was planning to. Then maybe for him to thank her for saving him? That had to be it and it made his blood boil. That had to be the reason for the silent treatment.     But no matter what the reason was, Kaito couldn’t stay silent, no longer. Aincrad has pushed him around one time to many as he grit his teeth tightly, the sword clenched in his hand as he suddenly spun around and stomped towards the young teen. He didn’t care how old she was or how threatening he would look at this moment or how reactionary this was… he just didn’t care anymore.     “What. The. FUCK were you thinking!?” He began, each word punctuated before yelling at her only a few feet away, “You leave me hanging in front of a goddamn killer, pretend you’re gone and then let me nearly get killed in order to… what, get the drop on her!? Did it never occur to you that-that seeing a forest bathed in red would change things!? If you hadn’t connected with her, I’d be dead and you’d soon be too because she’d know exactly where you’d be at all time! And why were you pulling me away like that!? Were you taking me somewhere to drop my gear and Col for you to steal!?” He hit his chest with his free fist before pointing at her, “I HAD A PLAN! I wasn’t going to assume shit before figuring out this bitch’s Sword Art. But you FUCKED IT UP by going rogue and by your-your own selfish actions!”     His sword was rattling at his side as if he looked ready to strike her and in a moment of clarity realized that he did feel like slashing at her. Realizing how close he was to letting go completely, he grasps his sheath and jams the sword back in, biting his lip as he got menacingly closer to her, jabbing at her with a gloved finger, “You get this through your head, right now: Never use another like that again. There are no reinforcements coming after us for your… your goddamn sacrificing maneuvers. We are all that is left to getting out of Aincrad alive and there are enemies among the ranks!”     Kaito let out a shaking breath as he stared her down with his black eyes holding so much anger behind them, “So if you’re waiting for me to thank you, then here it is: Thank you for showing me just how rotten you Front Liners are. Because I now know exactly the kind of people who I’m playing with and they make me sick. So you continue to fight your way out of here, with some… some Ayn Rand objectivist selfishness to be better than your fellow players, believing you have the right to choose who lives and dies to get out of here. Because I will NEVER fall to the level of the likes of YOU.”     He made his point clear as he shoulder-shoved past her, glancing up at his mini-map to see he was heading back to town where he wanted to be for a few hours, maybe even a few days as he muttered under his breath exactly what he was planning on doing, “I need a fucking drink…”
