"Never Falter Never Look Back!"
| Hearing more scratching from... underneath them? Rue would turn around to warn the others. As she would tell them to move, the sand would shift and a much larger spider would emerge from the sand. It was much larger than the forest spiders, it would of had to be a cave spider. That meant that there must be cave lining the bottom of the shore.. No it can't be, sand would not hold if there was empty space between it and more solid ground. It must of just dug its way over. Luckily Tesh was nearby to pull Angelo away from the spiders clutches. This is why she told them to get him to safety, as they would not be able to fight if they had to protect Angelo to. Janerio would waste no time as she would charge towards the cave spider. Flicking sand at the spider with her blade, she would try to blind it or distract it to get a clean hit. It was a good idea, but it did not work as the cave spider would jump back and dodge her attack. The sand had threw her balance off, as the sand slide under the force of her weight and momentum. With Janerio open to a counter attack from the spider. Rue would be behind the spider and could get a surprise attack on the spider and save Janerio from some damage. As Rue would move in to attack the ambushing spider, Tesh parting the sand like Mosus swung his sword around knocking the spider away. While she did not approve of his form, or how he almost hit her and Janerio with the tail end of his spin attack. This was not the time to lecture him about watching where he would swung his sword. Sheathing her iron sword, Rue would rush towards the down cave spider. Blue glowed around her left hand as she took out her calcum sword. Driving it down into the spider and pinning it down, She would immobilize it long enough for the two to finish it off. Leaving the blade in the spider as it would fail around, trying to free itself. Rue moved towards the spider closing in on the group and drawing her iron sword. Charging forward at the spider, it would shot out it's poison and webbing to trap the small tank or throw her guard. Blocking the poison, and advoiding the webbing with as little movement as possible. Making strong quick jerking movements would only make it harder to keep her footing. Rue did not want to make the same mistake as Janerio. Reaching melee distance of the spider, it would raise its two front legs and strike downwards at the small girl. Moving slightly to the right and bring her blade down through the right leg of the spider, sending it's detached limb slightly away from its owner. Trimming off a few more leg's on it's right side as she moved behind the fuzzy black arkanoid. Scraping it's now flat right side slowly around. The spider would try to face the speedy tank. It's lopsided attempts at facing it's attacker would fall very short as Rue brought her blade through it's body, sending it off with the others that she has erased from this world. Looking around the highlands and rocky cliffs and hills. Rue would use her detection to she if there were a trace of anymore spiders approaching the group. Not able to see or hear anymore coming up or down from the hill. These must of been the remains of the group that was hunting Angelo. Looking back to the shore, she would trust that Janerio and Tesh were more than capable of handling a pinned cave spider. Looking around the sandy shore, she could not see any movement in the sand or her any other scratching noises coming from below. Moving back to join up with her friends, this would be a slight deviation from the sea monster hunt, but it was good that they were here today as Angelo might of died if they were not. Maybe there is such a thing as fate. Cave Spider Lv 4 23 Hp |
