Currently we will start looking for a moderator to join us on the staff. The duties of the moderator will not be too much of a burden but something to still not be taken lightly. We will expect the person to demonstrate good moral character (Outside of IN CHARACTER POSTS) and be able to defuse situations that really do not need to be escalated to a major issue. They almost must know when actions will be needed to be taken to ensure no harmful activity come to the site or its players.
Duties will include:
-Moderating the ChatBox to keep out spammers, offensive/racial/flaming conversations, and overall hold the piece for everyone else.
-Moderate general page forums to like above, keep out spammers, offensive/racial/flaming posts, and hold the piece.
-Review Affiliation claims to ensure no one we affiliate with also does the same for us. (Once a month, checking to make sure we STILL are affiliated.)
-Review Character applications. At this time, this duty will only be to review them and determine if the application is acceptable. We will possibly see if in the future profile creations be added to this list but at this time it is not required.

Do you feel grammar and spelling to be very important on a roleplaying forum? On a scale of 1 to 10 determine how detrimental it is for our site and how you feel moderation needs to be used to correct those without proper grammar and spelling.
Please know, by being accepted as a moderator does not guarantee any benefits. It would be done purely as a volunteer act and will probably end up eating some time you could otherwise spend elsewhere. Also by being accepted as a moderator that power can, and if used unproperly, will be relinquished. We don't want this to lead to any active players being upset over not getting the position, or upset upon losing the position if it were to be given, so please only take this task if you truly think you are fitting for the job and are okay will losing the position if the time comes that you are deemed unfit for it or if the help is just no longer needed.
