(OOC: Wow. It just got real. Also, this would be my exit~)
Elpharae nodded at Kyo's words, getting up himself and offering no parting words. There was nothing to be said, anyways, so he merely activated his Stealth skill, then his Acrobatics skill, taking the steps two at a time. By the time he had opened the door to the roof, he heard some voices, something about housing a criminal. Cursing, the brunet hurried out, the cold wind brushing across his limbs, making him repress a shiver as he raced to the edge, thanking god that they had such old-fashioned buildings on the first floor, the roofs almost touching, separated by a foot or so of space that he could easily jump over if he utilized his Acrobatics skill.
When he reached the roof on the corner, he raced down the stairs, being as quiet as he could. His fingers combed through his hair, tying it up in a ponytail and switching into his armor, making himself look as askew as possible. Hopefully he would pass for a grinder who just got back. At any rate, he looked nothing (at least, not alike) to the more feminine male in a dress he represented earlier, and he kept his rapier by his side, not sheathing it. Would that be enough to deter future guards? Most likely. They had been in a rather dark alley, and so his name had been riddled with shadows, utterly incomprehensible, which he thanked all divine beings for. If they existed, that was.
Noting a guard, who didn't seem to see through his Stealth, thank god, (he had such good luck today. Maybe he should go gamble...) Elpharae walked right past him before continuing on with his journey, materializing much later on. His mind flickered to Kyo, and he hoped the other male was okay, but didn't dare to go and try to check. It was way too risky. The streets seemed more...guard-filled, but that might have been his paranoia. He turned his gaze around himself, trying to pick out anyone he might need to avoid, since he already met them. What was that one guard's name? He winced. The brunet had forgotten.
He held his breath as he walked by the square, which seemed utterly infested with guards, and let out a quiet sigh of relief as he passed by, biting his lip as he returned to the inner area of Tolbana, blending in with the late-night crowd and heading to a pub where he would fall in with people until he was positive he was safe. Elpharae smirked wryly, and sighed. There was just no telling what would happen when you tried to be nice, was there?
