"Never Falter Never Look Back!" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ Oh well Sora's annoying Rue Lv3

Sora stab his blade into the wolf on Rue's back cause her to be pushed down more, as the wolf whined in pain it scratched at the girl's back. Sora would kick off the wolf freeing his sword and pushing the girl father down but, removing the wolf off her back. He would then angle his blade upwards as the blade sliced the mouth of the wolf that griped Rue's ankle, thankfully near it end of it's mouth, but still to close to Rue's leg then she would have wanted. The wolf released the girl's leg and back away to the rest of it's pack. Rue would kick the wolf that was on her back away from her and Sora, the boy would offer his hand to Rue. She would not noticed his outstretched hand as she smack the wolf with her shield in a attempt to get it off her leg. The wolf would clamp down on her leg harder as she continued to bash it. Athena moved behind Rue in with lighting speed plunging her rapier into the wolf's eye. It let go of the small tank's leg and whined as the blade removed it's depth perception. The Goddess would put herself in front of the majority of the wolves and tell her companions to shut their eyes. Athena would cut an x into the air and a burst of light covered the area around the wolves and players. Rue would cover her eyes with her shield and pick herself back up kicking the wolf that was on her right leg back to the pack. "Thanks for the back up, looks like the cavalry is coming to. Not exactly how I wanted this to play out". As Athena used the darkness and her stealth to circumvent the wolves and move to the leaders, she would notice that the Packmother was able to see her and howled getting the clear sighted wolves to focus on her. Three wolves would move in on Athena, cutting her off from the rest of the group. The guards would make it to Rue as she spoke commandingly and with haste. " Line up were charging trough their line and assisting the girl who was cut off. The guards did not question the girl who stared towards the discombobulated wolf line. Rue formed a line and charged on the Packmothers position, the guards lowered their spears as them and Rue charging through the wolves piercing and push the blinded wolves as they charged through and surprised the wolves facing Athena. Rue slashed down on one of the unblended wolves neck's leaving a big gash as she slid it through, two of the guards stabbed into the wolf that Rue hit causing it's life bar to hit zero and shattering into blue light. More of the guards stabbed into the unblended wolves causing them to pull away and snarl at the guards. Rue told the guards to move and block off the other wolves while Rue and Athena will handle the ones ahead. The guards separated into two groups cutting off the wolves from assisting their kin, they would nip at any sound and the guards would push their spears to meet them in a back and forth tug of war. The two unblended wolves focused on Rue as she put her shield in front of herself, protecting from a frontal assault. Rue would glance at Athena to make sure she was okay. The Packmother would jump at her going fro her neck while the Packleader would move towards the goddess using it's unhindered senses to try and attack the girl.

[Sora]

He was able to cover his eyes just in time after his heroic attempt to save rue. He then noticed Athena moving out. He didn't need to see it to know that, he DID have detection after all. Though he then noticed the pack mother was very well not blinded as it began to charge at Athena before going to attack. Sora acted quick, though the pack leader was coming he thought he should take out the incoming danger. He sprinted past the two wolves Infront of him, cutting the leg of the one on his right as he ran by before quickly jabbing his blade at the pack mother as it went to jump at Athena. There was no way it could dodge while in the air as his sword penetrated it, piercing through before placing his foot on the wolf, kicking it off his sword as he got in the way of it and Athena. Though he also kept an eye on his surroundings.

[Athena]

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @rue @sora ✐ --- ✉ Anyway~ Off to battle with the Packmother and Packleader!

Athena quickly surveyed the area that she was running around to see if she had inflicted a good amount of wolves. She did, but it was apparent that the Packmother wasn't blinded. Athena quietly cursed as she ran towards the packmother and packleader. I was really hoping that those two would be the ones that got blinded, but I guess I'm only half as lucky as I thought I was. Athena continued to run towards the packmother, when she howled and three wolves came to cut her off from the rest of the group. Each wolf tried to take a nip at her, but luckily she was quick enough to dodge out of the way of each nip at her. Athena was ready to fight these wolves when she saw, out of her peripheral vision, the group of guards that had run from the town. Athena saw the line of guards, which also contained Rue, strike the line of wolves and break through. A couple of the guards made their way over to her accompanied by Rue. They had each taken the wolves away from her and Athena smirked. Rue looked at her with an expression that spoke to her about her status. Athena gave her a thumbs up as she readied herself for a battle against a level 4 Packmother and Packleader.      Athena saw the Packmother jump at her, which she was going to hopefully dodge. Suddenly, she saw Sora jump into her line of sight. She was surprised when he went and stabbed the Packmother mid-air. Athena breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, she wouldn't have to fight the Packmother and Packleader all by herself anymore. She'd have Sora to back her up now. Then, when Rue finished with the wolves she was fighting, then Athena was sure that she would join in the fight. Athena was also sure that when the guards killed the wolves that they would come and help her take out the Packmother and Packleader as well. Athena nodded to Sora to let him know that she was thankful. Then, she gestured to her mouth, making a 'Shh' motion. Athena planned to take out the Packmother's sight by quickly slashing her eyes while she was down. Athena quickly ran over to the wolf that had gone flying through the air, and it was thankfully still on the ground. Athena quickly ran past the Packmother and left enough room for her to be unscathed by the Packmother as she slashed out her eyes. Athena quickly aimed for the Packmother's eyes with one long slash, but the Packmother had moved her head to try and bite the rapier in Athena's hand, making her miss one of the eyes. Athena cursed as she ran toward the Packleader, who seemed to be aware of her approach. Athena quickly picked up a wad of dirt from the ground and compacted it in her hand to make it hard enough to generate a sound to distract the Packleader. She threw the compacted wad of dirt very close to the wolf's body, which made it jump slightly in the direction that she was running. The wolf's attention was distracted for just a second, long enough for her to quickly pull off the slash that she wanted to execute. As a tactic of hers, Athena ran past the Packleader, but quickly yelled in its ear, "Sora! Try and disable the Packmother as best you can! If she can't attack, then it'll be better for us!" But as she ran past the Packleader, the wolf's back leg clipped her, making she slid a considerable distance away from the wolf. It began to move towards her, so she decided to pick up a wad of clay again. Athena was really hoping that Sora would be there to back her up right now, otherwise, she was probably going to take a very large amount of damage.

[Rue]

"Never Falter Never Look Back!" ☒ @tagged ✐ 000 ✉ I threw my sword away smart Rue Lv3

Rue pointed her sword at the leaders in front of her, with a look that told her to focus. Rue was about to charge through to back up Athena when, Sora ran by with lightning speed cutting the leg of the wolf to the left of Rue.The wolf would flich and whimper at the sneak attack. The wolf to the left of Rue turned to bite Sora as he jumped at the packmother. Rue took this opportunity to attack the wolves as it was momentarily distracted. Slicing the wolf on her lefts neck she would make a deep cut causing it to lock up in pain. The wolf to her right would jump at her, Rue merely smacked it away with her shield sending far off to her right momentarily stunned. Arcing her blade back up it would dig deeper into the wolfs neck, making the wolfs hand hang to it's right like a slightly ajar piggy bank as it turned to light. Sora rung through the packmother in midair and kicked off it, landing on his feet and sending the packmother fairly far back in front of him. Athena put her fingers to her lips would run past the packleader, causing it's ears to perk up and follow in the direction of the sound. Athena moved past Sora and moved to the packmother. Running past the packmother she would swing her sword at the downed wolf's eyes. Athena would spit it's right eye, but the wolf moved it's head in an attempted to catch the girl's blade. Athena cursed as she missed both eye's seeing the packleader following by sound and smell, Athena picked up a wad of dirt and throw it close to the packleader, causing it to growl and bark in the direction of where she placed the wad. As she ran to the the side of the pack leader she would speak to Sora giving away her position. The wolf clipped her leg as she ran by causing her fall and slid to the back of the packleader. Picking up a wad of dirt to try and distract the wolf again, however the wolf had got her scent and was locked on to the Goddess. Rue would see the packleader close in on Athena, it's mouth poured with saliva. Rue would bring her sword back and whip it at the wolf, The edge of the blade slightly cut the wolf's side causing it to turn to the direction it was hit in and snarl. The down charged at Rue jumping for her neck, she would put both her hands on her shield and slam into the wolf. If cried out and fell on it's side. Rue would go to the downed wolf and continue to smash it's head in as it whined and twitched a crunchy wet sound echoed from her position. The wolves and the guards would be at a stand still, they would stab at the wolves, but the wolves still had the advantage of speed. They mostly grazed the wolves. However one blindness was removed and it dodged and jumped on the guard, it tore out the one guard's neck of the group of four. His friends would stab into the wolf killing it, but the guard health reached zero and faded away with the wolf. The three guards would yell and charge at the two remaining wolves out of revenge for their friend.

[Sora]

Sora's goal was to not allow the pack mother to escape. He figured he had a good shot if it were a one on one. The pack mother shook off whatever pain it had before. The hp was down some so he figured even if it were levels above him, he had an advantage still. It snarled at him as it came to a stare down. Though the pack mother grew impatient and jumped at him. He quickly moved towards the side, though the wolf wasn't as slow as a boar was, it was agile enough to quickly turn to attack again. He raised his sword so the wolf bit down on it instead of his face though a claw come out and scratched his face. He quickly pulled his sword out of its mouth while quickly raising his foot up, arcing it up to kick it in the face while it fell back to the ground. Sora thus raised his blade, cleaving it downward upon it. Dealing some damage to its torso before quickly cutting its back legs off. He continued to just cut it up until it would disappear.

[Athena]

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @rue @sora ✐ --- ✉ ALRIGHT!!! LET'S KILL THESE THINGS!!! Athena Lv1

Athena prepared herself to be bitten in at least one of the areas of her body, but was pleasantly surprised when Rue threw her sword, clipping the wolf on its side. Athena smirked at this. This was an opportune moment. Athena gripped the clod of dirt in her hand and flung it straight at the Packleader's head, trying to stun it for a second. From the small insignia that appeared near the wolf's health bar, she had succeeded in her efforts. Athena quickly stood and seized the moment to stab the Packleader through the part of its torso that contained its heart. Athena quickly inserted the rapier, feeling a decent amount of resistance from the Packleader's body, which she ignored. Pushing, pushing, pushing, until there was a decent number of damage that came from the area she had struck. Athena quickly pulled her rapier out of the torso of the Packleader, wanting to quickly return Rue's sword to her.      Athena quickly picked up the sword and made sure to move out of the range of the Packleader's bite. She knew that the Packleader would charge after her soon enough, but returning Rue's sword was her main focus right now. Then, an idea suddenly struck her. Rue seemed to hold off a number of wolves quite well, so if Athena could only position herself in a good spot behind Rue, then she could make some good strikes against some of their enemies. Athena made her way over to Rue, but was sure that the Packleader was on her tail. Athena quickly surveyed the area to try and see how the players and the NPCs were holding against the wolves. Sora seemed to be chopping away at the Packmother, which she was sure he would probably kill soon if she didn't strike back soon. Athena looked toward the NPC spearmen, which seemed to be holding up alright. One of them had died, but the wolves didn't seem to pose too much of a problem for them. Athena didn't need to worry about the spearmen, but Sora might be in trouble if the Packmother called for help from the other wolves. Athena wasn't focused on this fact though. She just needed to return Rue's sword so that she could kill those wolves she was up against. Athena swung the sword behind her before using her forward momentum to chuck the sword forward toward the single shield wielding girl. "Once you're done with those wolves, you better come help me. This son of a bitch is something more than I was expecting!"

Standing up after bashing the wolf to death with her shield, Rue turned to see how Athena was doing. She seemed to use the distraction that Rue gave her to create an opening to drive her blade into the packleader's heart. The leader cried out in pain as it's body was being trusted into. As the girl dug deeper and deeper it hacked and spasm as the goddess pieced it's heart. Pulling her blade out the wolf recoiled in pain before it chased after the blond girl. Athena grabbed Rue's sword and used her momentum to fling it at the small tank. The sword rotated rapidly around as Rue grabbed it by the hilt, the goddesses words reached the small girl as she moved over to the goddess. Rue's amber eyes stared the packleader down as it charged at Athena, "will finish the leader off then you move to help Sora while I clean up". Switching passed Athena, Rue slammed her shield into the charging wolf's face then slashing it down by the neck. The ruthless assault floored the leader as it whimper on the ground. As quickly as she came Rue moved over to the group of two guards and sent them over to assist their allies. The four guards men sounded the two wolfs and impaled them sending them to the world of dead code. Rue kept the two wolves between her sword and shield as they circled to create an opening. The snarled and snapped at the small girl, they may have gotten the better of her when they were many, but they were now the ones out numbered. With the guards at their back they would become desperate and lunge at Rue. Smacking one towards the guards with her shield and making a shish kabob out of the other wolf as it lunged at her. The wolf on her sword hacked as it dissipated into blue light, while the guards finished of the downed wolf. Sora would continue to slash at the packmother, but it clamped onto his leg and dragged him down. Jumping on top of the boy, the mother would try to go for a killing blow as Sora stick his sword in it's mouth. They played a deadly tug of war as Rue and the guards sprinted to save him, but it would take them time to reach him as they were fairly far away from him.

[Athena]

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @rue ✐ 000 ✉ Let's kill all the remaining enemies and then turn this sucker in! Athena Lv2

Athena continued to run toward Rue, trying to avoid being clipped by the large wolf at her heels. Rue quickly ran past Athena, letting her know what she was planning. Rue planned to attack the Packleader and take it out, while she would go and support Sora. Sora seemed to be handling himself pretty well, which made Athena reluctant to listen to Rue. Athena looked at the status of the battle, which was very much in their favor. The guards had just killed three wolves, while Rue took care of another wolf herself. The only two enemies that were left were the Packmother and the Packleader. The Packmother had more health, but Athena was hoping that she would be able to kill it with the help of Sora. Athena looked the guards over and wondered if some of them would come and support her after Rue killed the Packleader.      Athena ran toward the Packmother and Sora, who were engaged in a furious battle. Athena saw Sora's leg get clamped onto and she quickly sprinted toward the two. Her speed allowing her to reach the pair before anyone else. Sora had stuck his sword inside the Packmother's mouth, but since she still had a good amount of health, Athena thought it would be wise of her to step into the fray between the two. Athena focused in on the Packmother, who would definitely not pay attention to her since she was currently trying to kill Sora. Athena decided to go for another strike of the heart. Athena ran quickly toward the wolf and put her rapier along the right side of her body, then quickly thrust forward when she had the correct amount of distance to make a damaging strike to the wolf. Athena felt the rapier pierce through plenty of bone and muscle before feeling a big amount of resistance against her rapier. Athena didn't care whether she hit the heart or not, she just needed to move away from the small fray so that Sora could find a chance to escape. "HEY! YOU BIG UGLY WOLF! GET YOUR FAT MUG OVER HERE AND FIGHT ME!" Athena hoped that would draw the wolf away, since she just inflicted some good damage. Taunting probably wouldn't be too effective, but the Packmother was probably fed up with Athena since she just constantly screwed her over. Athena looked behind her and saw Rue and the guards running toward her. "RUE! Go take care of the Packleader! A couple guards and I can take care of the Packmother!" Athena prepared herself for an assault from the Packmother, but if she tried to strike Sora, she would get the guards and herself to pierce the Packmother and murder the hell out of her.

Rue told the guards to go support Athena and Sora, while she finished off the packleader. The guards broke off as Rue put herself between the packleader and herself. The leader was no longer blind and stared Rue down flashing it's yellowish brown teeth as it snared. Rue put her shield between the wolf and ready her sword hand. The two would circle each other tying to find a weakness. Jerking forward attempting to gout the wolf into attacking, however the packleader was smarter then the average wolf and held it's ground and moved to the side and tried to nip at the small girl. Moving her front to face the wolf, Rue would smash the wolf's face with her shield go in for the kill as it reared back. Thrusting her sword forward the blade would break through it's skull and hit the brain. their was no response from the packleader as it faded away. Turning to where the others were Rue would ran towards them as she check on their status. The mother grimaced in pain but did not relent in her advance to Sora. Push down more Sora lost his grip on his blade and the wolf lunged for his neck. Sora would instinctively put out his hands and hold the wolf off as it rip and tear at his arms. The guards arrived and thrusted into the mother as it continued to try and take Sora with her as it's mix of growls and whines focused on the downed boy. The wolf's hp was almost nonexistent as it continued it's desperate attempts at killing Sora. Rue would be near, but still not able to save the boy and the guards attacks were missing more then they hit and when they hit it was no damage or none.

[Athena]

"Do you have a problem for me to solve?" ☒ @rue ✐ 000 ✉ And now we shall make our closing posts and turn this in! (For a LOT of experience hopefully!) Athena Lv2

Athena was prepared for the support of the guards, but she thought they would indefinitely kill the wolf once they stabbed her. Unfortunately, they didn't. After a second, they began to inflict almost no damage to the creature, which made her pleased. Athena was going to deal the killing blow and hopefully get some supplies from this kill. Athena stared at the situation that was about to come to a close. Sora was being mauled by the wolf, his arm clearly being gnawed on by the wolf. Sora probably wouldn't be able to recover from that, which made Athena a little pitiful toward him since he was a pretty capable fighter. Of course, that opinion would now be thrown out the window by most people since he was losing his arm to a wolf in battle. She then observed the guards who were attempting to finish off the wolf, but it appeared that they could not. Why couldn't guards just accurately hit a single wolf, which was directly in front of them? Athena didn't know why, but maybe this was the game's way of providing Athena a chance to deal the killing blow to a major thorn in her side.      Athena quickly rushed through the guards to reach the wolf, which was trying to murder Sora. Athena quickly readied her rapier for a swift strike. It wasn't going to take much to kill the Packmother at this point, her health bar close to nonexistent. Athena kept her eyes wide open, hoping that she would relish in the moment of all the wolves finally being gone. Athena quickly jabbed the rapier into the Packmother's torso. The Packmother making a small squeal before disappearing into a million little pieces of blue and white confetti. Athena finally relaxed a little bit as she sat down in the field. "Finally! God, those wolves were annoying. I'm glad we finally killed those goddamn things, now we can go to sleep in peace." Athena laid down in the field for a few seconds, letting a feeling of relaxation take over her. Athena relished in that few seconds of relaxation. Athena was sure she would level up after this set of battles. So many wolves in one day, and with only two other players, no less. Athena opened her eyes and observed the ceiling that was above her. The hundredth floor. She was one step closer to helping herself and other people escape this game.      Athena stood and walked over to Rue, who single-handedly finished off the Packleader. "Nice work. Thanks for listening to my advice. I realize that it doesn't always work out, but I don't suggest things I think will fall apart." Athena stated to Rue. Athena looked at the white haired girl who wielded a sword and shield, giving her an examining look. "We should work together in the future. I think I could learn a good number of things from you, since you seem to be a more capable player than I." Athena outstretched her hand. "So... What do you say? Meet again sometime soon?"

Stopping her advance Rue could see the guards and Athena attacking the packmother. Do to the low level and low stats the game rules were working unrealistically against the guards. Sora would probably never go out of the town again as this event is burned into his mind. One less frontline player, were a small number of players as it is need all the help we can get. Athena pierced into the mother's torso causing one last cry of pain before it would burst into blue pixels raining down on the victorious girl like confetti. The Goddess who before shown herself as level headed before he laughing fit and now this. Rue sheathed her sword as the girl sat down and yell out how pleased she was with the passing of the wolves. Rue looked over to where the one guard was killed then over to the mauled Sora. They did win, but at a high cost. Athena moved over to her and say "nice work". Rue looked at her blankly a she would continue on and say how Rue was capable and that they should work together. After she finished Rue would look at the outstretched arm offering cooperation. Nothing was wrong with that, and it made sense to work together strength in numbers. Grasping the girls hand Rue looked at her, the small girls fiery amber eyes met the more soft golden ones of the goddess'. " Yes I agree i'll add you to my friend list, there we can communicate and cooperate better. However". Rue's eyes narrowed and her grip got tighter." While you could learn things from me, this was anything but nice. We lost an guard even though it's not a real person he was still an ally and being lead by me. It was my fault that he died and Sora got mauled, he will never recover from this mentally". Rue let go of Athena's hand blinking and made a friend request pop in front of the goddess. Rue walked over to the guards and Sora. Picking up Sora and helping him walk she and the guards would walked back to town. No song of victory were sung and no smiles were to be seen on the men as they mourned the loss of their comrade.
