Item Quality
One of the important things to know about crafting is item quality. Items have two different forms. The first form is it's basic form. This is the normal form that most merchants sell and monsters drop. There is nothing special about these items besides their normal effects. The second form is an item's fine form. This form is of much higher quality than an item's basic form and clearly effort was put in for this amount of quality. It has slightly better stats than a basic item however this will only apply to weapons and armor, while crafting materials such as hilts give a better chance of making the final product fine.
To make an item fine quality there are two methods. First you can simply say you want to make an item. It automatically has a 10% chance of being fine. If you wish to increase this chance you may write out a post in the crafting section describing the process of how you created the item. Every 250 words grants you an additional 5% towards your total fine chance.
